I used tolive across the road from Clints family home , so used to see him fair bit, N he never let it ( the fame ) to his head would let on just like anyone else
my favourite manchester band the carpets saw them live and at a record signing in leeds hmv for their how it should be single i chatted to craig gill such a sweet guy was so sad when he heard he had gone they have left their mark on me for sure.
still get as much credit as they should. look at the greatest hits lp.. i honestly dont think ive ever skipped a song on it. how many greatest hits lp's can you say that about
What about marllion " a pacifist with a uniform fetish ". OR if you listen closely to purple rain by prince you will hear him say " i know i know gods a triffid !" ..heehee lol.. ?
waynegok ...hey dude, great for you, I am old, like 59 and I saw then in the 90's..have most of their cd's and love it all..great band and DON'T sell your 7 inch you WILL miss it one day...stay cool, peace
I'll always regret passing the chance to meet tom, I had a chance to meet him in around 2013 - 2014 and passed it up for whatever reason. My biggest regret, i just wish i could get the chance to meet him again.
Met the whole band and took them to a night club . Unfortunately we didn’t get in , as it was late . Had a good chat to them on the way to the club and back . They were flying to Tokyo the next day they told me .That was a good 29 years ago . Great band and a good bunch of lads .
try to find another person to annoy..just here to enjoy the sights and sounds and use the language as I see fit...have a wonderful day...man/cat/dude/whatever
inspirals suffered worst from the music press after the madchester backlash.. they always came back with great songs and albums to give the arseholes at N.M.E. and melody maker the two fingers.. cool as fuck! mooooooooooooo!
Well ask the WHO, they said they "hope they die before they get old"...however!! I won't be around to see it, but my guess is that you WILL use whatever language is cool for the day...Dude! Stay COOL Dude!
RIP Craig ❤
My life has changed entirely when I first listened to "The Beast Inside"! Cheers from Brazil.
Beast inside was just so different way
back in 91. Still listen to it today.
inspiral carpets just so good...........
@bohsblur it was also the album which effectively killed off their fan base
una de mis bandas favoritas!!! ese teclado inconfundible!! no cabe duda que la mejor musica siempre saldrá de la Gran Bretaña!!
Ese organo Hammond es glorioso.

luv this !
I long for the time when the band had a great singer. Even a “good” singer right now would be better
1990 volvieron la moda de los años 60s esto es sonido 60s pero digital
great lyrics for an IC song
Grande banda sem mídia.
This song is a masterwork of Britpop.
Fantastic song, better than all this x factor shite.
Love the inspirals.
Great lyrics "says you're mutton dressed as lamb, but he's a vegetarian"
top moooooooin inspiral carpets live on
Wow I'm 60 now dude, I think we invented 'Dude'...stay cool!

Liam Gallagher played bass at this time
0:25 Bass player tries to look hard and intimidating, accidentally makes eye contact with someone behind the camera and bottles it.
how fucking good were they %Lsd
I know clint boon and graham lambert's kids.
Lol
Good song
brown's what?
I wonder who wrote lyrics for this
The band
How the F has this only got 300 views, people have no taste
!!!
can someone tell me why this band wernt massive
They were and are, in my opinion.
They had a good spell from 90-94 to be fair during the first faze of the Manchester sound. One of my favourites alongside The Charlatans.
@liam anadrews...because of instantly forgettable songs like this perhaps?
i love this tune .class band ,they dont make music like this now ..just shitty love songs
Very underrated band. They lacked a good manipulative manager.
inspirals suffered worst from the music
press after the madchester backlash..

The "Inspirals"...
A band made-up of a few clones of Lord Fauntleroy
The Inspiral Carpets were eclipsed by The Stone Rose's...I always preferred Inspiral Carpets...
