I know its a older model BUT the Curry Hovr Splash 3. I had serious foot issues when hooping and at work in general. I felt immediate relief with them.

Another Kobe shoe minus the Nike swoosh. These Chinese brands are absolutely on fire lately. it's too bad availability is still spotty in many areas particularly in the west but if you are around SEA stocks are abundant and way cheaper.

According to me, the best hoop shoe (at least for a shifty light weight player on outdoor court...) : comfort, bounce, support... and durability !
But please just do not choose to anatomize the parrot colorway (protected species...and certainly the best plumage in hoop shoe history).

Can you review the SPO Player 1 Plus and Ranger 1 for some alternate drop in misdsole shoes? Looks like outdoor players might want to look elsewhere this year due to that tread pattern on the 808 this year.
one thing i didnt like about the 808 3 series was the boom foam didnt really have that great of shock impact for me glad to see that they fixed it in the 808 4

I have these shoes. I’m slightly disappointed. Heel slippage - yes. Laces cutting into my midfoot - yes. Slipped out completely on a little drop of sweat on the court - yes (happened twice). Hotspots in my toes - yes.

2.1 cm forefoot stack height for a guard shoe is ridiculous, unfortunately. I'm sure the BOOM breaks down and settles in closer to 1.8cm but the truly elite court feel shoes are around 1.5-1.6cm

Zach, I just got a pair of the SO1 Ohtani New Balance turf shoes which look like a combination of the New WXY V3 with a 4040 bottom...... a tear down would be nice...it is fuel cell bottom and similar V3 (sort of top with rubberized coating)....I am not a Way of Wade aficionado but does Dwyane Wade have anything to do with them????might be a silly question
