If you want to hear them sing old school gospel, they have an incredible rendition of “How Great Thou Art” - their voices are angelic and the video (shot in Europe) is incredible!!
And.. that's why we wanted you to hear this one. LoL. Great reaction! Gospel? I think " How Great Thou Art " is one of the most beautiful songs they've ever preformed. Their cover of " My Church " ( brings back memories of my grandma singing old time Gospels) is on my main Playlist. and I'm not really religious, but I can appreciate fantastic musical talent.
Oh yeah... all those listed songs (Children Go Where I Send Thee and How Great Thou Art, especially!) plus the Christmas carol: Do You Hear What I Hear is an absolute must. Nothing else like it. Arranged by the beatboxer Adam Rupp. Then, O Holy Night and Angels We Have Heard On High. Both heavenly 5-part harmony. Enjoying your HF reactions!
You seriously need to check out BROTHERS IN ARMS by Home Free. True honor to those who served and laid their lives down. You really need to play this one!!!!!
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.
Ooh! You want gospel??? Yes! Home Free featuring Kenny Rogers, Children go where I send Thee. And Home Free with Peter Hollens Amazing Grace. And Home Free How Great Thou Art, and there's more, but I'd start with those.
Home Free's rendition of "How Great Thou Art" is stunning. Phenomenal harmonies amid a spectacular setting. Everyone with a soul will feel the spirit, religious or not. Also, with the Christmas season check out some of their Christmas music. Highly recommend "O Holy Night" and "Do You Hear What I Hear". New sub here.
They killed this. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they did justice to the song. Tim Foust is the bass and has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing high up with the tenors. Rob (lead here) killed it. We call him “gospel Rob”. Try Children Go Where I Send Thee (with Kenny Rogers), Blue Ain’t Your Color (a little more bluesy), How Great Thou Art, Mary Did You Know. So many good songs. Lots of covers but they also write and sing their own music too. Playing with Fire is a new one that’s so good. Good reaction!😍
I have always love this by B2M but I have to say I love this cover more!, so good. Their talent is so above every other a cappella group out there and I truly mean no disrespect but it’s just the truth.
@@marlenekloth4734 Excellent performance. I just compared the studio version and they are very similar, but the live 'Hosanna' performance is noteworthy for showing they can do this stuff live and is very approachable.
This is one of my favorite songs but one of my favorite Boyz II Men songs. Home free, even if they don't tweak it up, takes a song and makes it their own but you still love and appreciate the original. I'm so glad they covered this song and I'd love to know what Sean Stockman thought of this, he was one of Home Free's biggest fans when they were on the Sing Off. "How Great Thou Art" is out of this world!!! They filmed it a while ago when they were in Austria and between the song itself, their amazing voices - and Adam (the beatboxer) has a start in it and you get to hear the purity of his voice - and the absolute beauty of God's handiwork in those Austrian mountains make it one you shouldn't miss. They also do "Do You Hear What I Hear" which Adam arranged.
For Gospel definitely "How Great Thou Art" which is beautiful, and "Children Go Where I Send Thee" which features the late Kenny Rogers. Great reaction. Liked and subscribed.
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete. The best A-Cappella group for me!!
"How Great Thou Art", "Children, Go Where I Send Thee", and even their cover of "Take Me Home Country Roads" all have a different kind of gospel feel and/or influence. Each is ridiculously good. Loving the reactions ~ thanks. 🍟
Gospel Rob, when he gets in the zone, ear-gasms. If you want to hear some gospel, check out Children, Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers. It's like going to church!
How Great Thou Art, and Amazing Grace featuring Peter Hollens, both fantastic. The group is very versitile. They will interchange parts on any given song. They are the best of the best.

If you want more of Tim’s incredible Bass, check out Misty Mountains by Peter Holden’s, featuring Tim Foust. Shot during COVID, they were in two separate locations. Peter sings all of the higher parts, then layers them in the studio (sometimes more than 100 tracks). Then Tim comes in with his phenomenal Bass. Pay close attention to the LAST note! I have NO doubt that you will LOVE it!!!
Tim Foust=bass Rob Lunquist=tenor Adam Chance=baritone Austin Brown=high tenor Adam Rupp=beatboxer (he can make any sound!) Great reaction 🎉 I love Home Free😊
Love your spirit and your comments -- and your beautiful voice. For HF's most traditional gospel sound: Children, Go Where I Send Thee (with Kenny Rogers!), My Church; two great tunes with Texas Hill: Giving Up on You and Go Tell It On the Mountain. Gospel + motown/blues: their covers of Folsom Prison Blues (Johnny Cash) and Blue Ain't Your Color (Keith Urban).
Closest to real gospel might be Kenny Rogers/Home Free “Children Go Where I Send Thee” or Texas Hill/Home Free “Go Tell It On the Mountain”. Please consider the mashup of Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On. 💜
How about How Great Thou Art or Amazing Grace. They did a video of How Great Thou Art in the Swiss Alps on their world tour which was abruptly ended due to covid.
as for Gospel covers...well they have 3 that I consider in the Gospel range, but all 4 are what I consider Christmastime videos. You might want to hold off on those for a few more weeks....they are... Beautiful Star of Bethlehem (a collab with the Oak Ridge Boys), then there is "Children, go where I send thee" a collab with the late Kenny Rogers, then also "What Christmas means to me" a cover of a 1967 Stevie Wonder classic, and finally a song not too gospel, but has definite R & B vibes, and that is their recent original "Playing with fire"
The oldest one of theirs I can think of is "Joy to the World" (circa 2013). They also have videos of "Amazing Grace" (with Peter Hollens), "How Great Thou Art", "O Holy Night", "Mary Did You Know", "Go Tell It on the Mountain" (with Texas Hill) and "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" (with the Oak Ridge Boys).
I was blessed they came to my area and got to see them live. They are even better live. It was the best Party, as they call it, not just a concert. They are all truly gifted individually but when they come together.... MAGIC ❤
Someone's probably already said this.. but to get the true versatility of the group, check out "The Butts Medley" and "Brother In Arms". Both will have you crying, but in completely different ways. Great reactions, can't wait for more 😃

I thought I'd give you the guys names. Front row left to right Tim Foust bass (has a 5 octave range). Rob Lundquist lead tenor (beard and glasses). Austin Brown sky high tenor. Back row left to right Adam Rupp beatboxer and Adam Chance (Chance) baritone. This is my first reaction of yours I've done and I really enjoyed watching it.
Try "Butt Medley", "Ring Of Fire" (ft. Avi Kaplan for lots of bass), "What We Ain't Got", "Listen To The Music" and "Elvira" (with The Oak Ridge Boys, the original singers of the song).
Great reaction, they sing several gospel songs. How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace, Do You Hear What I Hear, Mary, Did You Know, O Holy Night , Beautiful Star of Bethlehem and Children, Go Where I Send Thee. A couple are Christmas but all amazing.
Wonderful reaction! Your joy is palpable! For old gospel I recommend HF with country giant, Kenny Rogers singing the classic Spiritual, “ Children Go Where I Send Thee”. It slaps big time!
Gospel? They do one you learned a LONG time ago that will blow your mind. Filmed in the Austrian Alps and it's as beautiful as that song you know. How Great Thou Art. They also do some great Christmas songs as well!
This is an amazing cover. Rob really shines in this as do all the guys. CK out How Great Thou Art and Do you Hear What I Hear. Two fantastic songs. ❤️❤️❤️
I started falling in love with a Capella groups about 3 years ago, and never looked back.....just the skill alone, in creating instruments like in a band, with just their voices, sets these groups apart from all the rest, and their skills are beyond mention! Another thing I also appreciate as well, is they are able to cross genres with ease, as in the case, where Home Free is generally Country, they can also do soul, rock pop, and everything in-between. I would love you to check out their version of I Swear, Listen to the Music, When a Man Loves a Woman, & TheButts Remix, just so you can see their versatility 😊
They do an amazing version of Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art, also O Holy Night. They do so many other covers, and originals just fall down that rabbit hole, and you will not be disappointed.

I know they do a great job with this, not one of my choices though, lots of songs to choose from!
Fasho. I’m going further down the rabbit hole

Thank u so much and thanks for explaining everything 🙏🏾

Loved, loved your reaction!
I really appreciate that and thanks so much for the support on the channel ❤️
This song brought me back to my HS days
Masterpiece!
Try "Butt Medley", "Ring Of Fire" (ft. Avi Kaplan for lots of bass), "What We Ain't Got", "Listen To The Music" and "Elvira" (with The Oak Ridge Boys, the original singers of the song).
Thank u. I’ll be checking them all out
How great thou art...phenomenal
Thank u. I’m on it 🙏🏾
Great reaction, they sing several gospel songs. How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace, Do You Hear What I Hear, Mary, Did You Know, O Holy Night , Beautiful Star of Bethlehem and Children, Go Where I Send Thee. A couple are Christmas but all amazing.
Much appreciated. I’ll be doing all of those eventually 🙏🏾
Rob took it to church in the end so good
Absolutely! I loved it
Goosebumps perfection!!
Absolutely!!
They sing, "Mary did you know". They sing "Oh Holy Night". Put your reaction pants on.
Lol most definitely. I got those locked in!
Wonderful reaction! Your joy is palpable! For old gospel I recommend HF with country giant, Kenny Rogers singing the classic Spiritual, “ Children Go Where I Send Thee”. It slaps big time!
I appreciate that so much! I’ll be checking out those suggestions too. Can’t wait to get into more Home Free. They are beyond amazing ❤️
Rob went absolutely beast mode. This cover is simply out of this world. My jaw hit the floor when this video first dropped.
For sure! They get a perfect score for this one. Absolutely amazing 🔥
Gospel?
They do one you learned a LONG time ago that will blow your mind. Filmed in the Austrian Alps and it's as beautiful as that song you know.
How Great Thou Art.
They also do some great Christmas songs as well!
Appreciate that. I’m working on a list now and those are most definitely up there
They sing go rest high on tut mountains
I plan to check that one out soon. I appreciate it ❤️🙏🏾
New Sub for Home Free! :)
Thank u so much ❤️🙏🏾
This is an amazing cover. Rob really shines in this as do all the guys. CK out How Great Thou Art and Do you Hear What I Hear. Two fantastic songs. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank u. I’ll be checking out those songs soon. They really outdone themselves wit this one for sure
Just amazing that they are accapella
Exactly! That adds a completely dynamic to what they do!
Thank u for those suggestions. And I agree. A Capella music is sooooo much better to me. I also like acoustic versions of songs as well.
Listen to Home Free Mayday! Tim Foust, the base, sings a tenor that blows your mind!!
Fasho! Imma check that one out soon. They was telling me to check out a few others first before doing that one so I could get a better feel for them
They do an amazing version of Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art, also O Holy Night. They do so many other covers, and originals just fall down that rabbit hole, and you will not be disappointed.
For sure! At this point I can’t go wrong with them no matter what I choose
