IMO, nothing will ever replace the original magic from hearing Boyz 11 Men sing this masterpiece, & I am so happy that Home Free, was able to keep the original integrity of the song, yet still inject their own magic, allowing us, to fall in love with it, all over again 💕 *I don't believe any other group, other than Home Free, could have pulled this off, & the fact that they are an a Capella group, puts them on a completely different level of skill & talent* 💕
@@maryjoevans6103 in the Sixties it was the Righteous Brothers .. best male duo... :) Bobby was voice to be reckoned with.. he pretty much could sing anything I think... Jazz? Blues? Rock n Roll? Opera? Yup I think he could cover it all...

I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road (1992) so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete. The best A-Cappella group for me!!
I’m glad y’all loved it. Of course since you haven’t then PLEASE watch the BUTTS REMIX. You’ll laugh so hard and Rob is amazing. The two main guys, the bass Tim Faust and Austin Brown the tenor are the most popular (I mean they are pretty lol) they all were asked who the best singer was in the group. They all immediately said Rob. If there any rap, any soul portion it’s mostly Rob. He’s also second tenor obviously. He was also schooled in OPERA of all things. In fact he and Austin so an opera song together that is amazing. But you aren’t allowed to hear Mayday until you’ve heard much more of HF. Oh and Tim and Austin have a duet out My Maria. It shows you something about Tim that will knock you out.
I have got to see your reaction to their Butts Remix, which includes parts of several old school songs from Rap/HipHop and Country - I wonder how many songs you can identify in that one big mishmash of greatness.
Definitely second this suggestion!! LOL You'll love it! All songs about booty! 👍😉🔥 The guys are goofballs and are always respectful of women, so no scantily-clad girls in the video. 😘 Country, rock, rap, scratching, hip hop, line dancing, whistling... Home Free somehow fits it all into one awesome medley! 😂😁👀
Home Free is the real deal. Rob (lead here) can sing opera….yes, opera. He has a great voice. They’re all super talented. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they did justice to the song. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can go super low and then sing up with the tenors. Their latest album has 12 original songs on it too. Their latest song was written by Chance (back row on the right) called Skull & Bones for a pirate game. It’s a banger!🤩
LMAO. May I suggest Austin Brown's "Her's Ain't Mine". Austin is the red haired, high tenor with Home Free. "Her's Ain't Mine" is being called the married man's anthem. It's an Austin Brown original and it's on his UA-cam channel. Each one of our HF guys has his own YT channel.
Their cover of I Swear is also amazing. Their originals are just as great as their covers. I came across them about two and a half years ago. Their music sic literally saved me from a heading towards a downward spiral I was starting to enter.
When Home Free does a cover, they pay homage to the original, but always make it their own. Their covers are always upgrades❣️🎼🥰🎶❤ As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️
It's so interesting that Home Free and Pentatonix have the ability to really bring the lyrics to life. You actually hear the words and see a song in a whole new way. Acapella removes many of the distractions in a song. Please react to Home Free When a Man Loves a Woman, talk about Blue Eyed soul.
Rob really cut loose with this one. He was always good, but he really let it all out in this song and never looked back. He just got so much better after this, and I didn't think that was possible. I love watching noobs fall ever deeper down the rabbit hole that is Home Free. It just gets deeper and deeper. It's a damned black hole, and it's wonderful.
If you want to hear how good of a singer Home Free’s Bass Singer, Tim Foust, is check out his solo single “Will You Love Me Tomorrow/Stay” and his collaboration with Bass Gang on “Hooked On a Feeling”. On those two songs really gets to show off his five octave range.
You scanned over some of HF's videos, one of which was the mashup of Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On. Please listen/watch that one. It's one of their many bests!
One of my favorite things about Home Free is how they pay tribute to groups who were huge, but are no longer at the top of the charts. They not only remind you of how great those groups/singers were, but their remake is always amazing! The best ones are when the original singers join them for the new version. If you revisit them again I'd love to see your reaction to my two favorites - when they teamed with The Oakridge Boys for "Elvira", and when they teamed with Billy Gilman on "One Voice" (in each case the song was a huge hit for the featured guest artist).
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.
You guys looked amazing,so much fun watching you getting into the music. Watching you guys react to almost anything is a good time. Love Great Grandma ❤️❤️👵🏼😊
I've seen a few of Home Free's covers and always love them, amazing voices. Something you need to check out - I've just seen another cover, by Kasey Chambers, someone else with a more country vibe. It's a live cover of Lose Yourself and I've never heard anything like it. It's one of the best covers ever done.
There’s a song from ‘72 called American Pie by Don McLean. It’s about the plane crash which killed Buddy Holly, The Big Bobber, and Richie Valens. It was a huge hit. Last year Home Free released a cover for its 50th anniversary. They even brought Don McLean as a guest vocalist on the track. A fun reaction would be a two/fer doing both the original by Don McLean and last year’s anniversary tribute by Home Free featuring Don McLean.
Actually, the story goes that Don sought them out to do the 50th anniversary rendition. Kinda like Kenny Roger's sought them out to perform his Christmas song "Go Where I Send Thee"
Im sure there'll be others as well as me suggesting you use headphones whenever you listen to Home Free. Subbed hoping for more from these amazing young men
Homefree is so talented, hopefully you continue down the rabbit hole. No pony cover but a butts remix that is so much fun. When a man loves a woman or thinking out loud/let’s get it on mashup are both great covers too
Home Free has the talent to take a wonderful old song and not only do justice to it but somehow upgrade it to be relevant in current times without giving the finger to the original artist, actually paying homage to the original while putting their stamp on it. It's all A Capella and you never notice the lack of instruments, and that's their stamp. They fill the room with music with no instruments but their own voices and you actually have to think about that to notice it at all. A talented bunch of guys. I've not heard a bad recording from them and they are so diverse in what they cover they can and will surprise you, There is no one Home Free style aside from the A Capella component, no one lead singer and they all have ranges that allow them to sing different parts and you can be surprised when the base guy is singing tenor or higher in one song and low, low base in the next. Versatility, and they all individually can sing lead, background or anything in between, no weak link.
I've been rewatching your Home Free reactions because I like your channel so much! Please more Home Free please! "Mayday" "Brother" "In the Blood" "How Great Thou Art"!
I can't believe I'm just seeing your response to this. I've been a Home Fry I think from the first episode of their season on The Sing Off so I love watching first time reactions to their work. These guys kill any song they put their take on. Some of their songs, like this one, they leave how it was originally recorded but so many they tweak it up and it's like it's never been recorded before and you can't help but love both the original song and their cover. Not sure if you've seen it, but Rob (the bearded guy taking the lead here) and Austin (curly kind of short hair and looks like he's a teenager) sing the opera song Nessum Dorma and you'd NEVER imagine that one. But the one that's the biggest shocker is from Tim (deep bass guy). Go check any of his solo work, especially anything from his doo wop record. STRAP IN BEFORE YOU DO!!!!!! Tim has some sick range and it comes out in full force.
Loved the reference to career day. I have visions now. Laughed out loud at the genetically modified foods talk. I recommend that you watch their cover of the Doobie Brothers' Listen to the Music. Absolutely fabulous.

🥰🥰🥰 Try their song "The Butts Remix" (or "The Butts Medley"). Be sure you have the video for this reaction. Also their song "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On" is really good.

God I love how much they all love the New Edition guys and Johnny Gill in particular if I’m betting… And by all I mean all of the people that have sang this song
This was my graduation song in 1992. End of the Road by Boys 2 Men was the perfect end to our high school career. Along with "Life is a Highway." You should check that one out next.
Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road” was written and produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, and Daryl Simmons. Babyface had initially written the song for the movie “Boomerang,” but it was eventually passed on to Boyz II Men. The group recorded “End of the Road” in 1991 and released it as a single in 1992. Contrary to popular belief, the song was not written about a romantic relationship. In fact, Babyface wrote the song about his time working with fellow music legend, Pebbles. In the late 80s, Babyface was a part of the successful production duo, L.A. Reid and Babyface, and worked closely with Pebbles on her debut album. However, their professional relationship came to an end, and Babyface penned “End of the Road” as a farewell to Pebbles.
They were on the TV show The Sing Off and Shawn Stockman from Boys ll Men was a judge. While on the show Shawn had nothing but great things abot Austin Brown (guy on the right) and Home Free. You two are so funny together i really enjoyed watching your reactions to this song.
Now that you checked out home free, next up in acapella world should be Pentatonix, which clips have millions and millions of views and reactions. Hallelujah for example. Or, a bit older, a Macklemore - cant hold it cover, which they really turned into fun stuff!

I love Home Free and Tim Foust (his voice is lifechanging) - they are fine vocal musicians and funny, cool humans. They have such diverse skills and amazing harmonies.
On a side note, I saw you've also done a bit of Kpop - you might enjoy Stray Kids, if you check them out I suggest God's Menu as an intro. It's another fun rabbit hole.
You absolutely need to listen to Home Free with headphones to get the full effect!
Been waiting for this one!
God I love how much they all love the New Edition guys and Johnny Gill in particular if I’m betting…
And by all I mean all of the people that have sang this song
You guys should react to that "DAD/CODER" and one of his bandmates (guess which one) singing OPERA 😇
This was my graduation song in 1992. End of the Road by Boys 2 Men was the perfect end to our high school career. Along with "Life is a Highway." You should check that one out next.
Watching you guys vibing with the song during this reaction was EVERYTHING!! Great reaction guys!😂😂❤❤❤

Their cover of When a man loves a woman is killer!
They also have original songs.they are fabulous
Blue eyed soul was the name given to the Righteous Brothers!!!
They were on the TV show The Sing Off and Shawn Stockman from Boys ll Men was a judge. While on the show Shawn had nothing but great things abot Austin Brown (guy on the right) and Home Free. You two are so funny together i really enjoyed watching your reactions to this song.

Whelp. . . I'll never be able to listen this song the same way again. . . 😂
You missed it. He is wanting the relationship to CONTINUE!
Now that you checked out home free, next up in acapella world should be Pentatonix, which clips have millions and millions of views and reactions. Hallelujah for example.
Or, a bit older, a Macklemore - cant hold it cover, which they really turned into fun stuff!
Loved this reaction, your comparisons to GMO is so funny 😂 and now I can't stop thinking of Rob at careerday with his children! The kids will be like -Come on dad, don't you dare do Boyz to men!! 😅😅😅
