I hope you guys enjoy watching me test out tiktok nurse hacks! I never thought I'd have a follow-up to my previous nursing school clinical hacks. OR at least not one that came about because of tiktok. I really need to get my head back in the game and keep studying for the NCLEX. I kid you not, I think I'm gonna take a 5 minute TikTok break and it turns into an hour-long TikTok break. That app puts you in a trance. But lets me honest, my anxiety would rather I do anything than study for an exam as big as the NCLEX.

Student taking notes here so, to sum it up:
1. Crush pill using a syringe's: Put the med in + liquid then pull the piston backwards to create a strong vaccum that will burst the pill open (turn any air trapped into the med = your tool = easy = fast = yay)
2. No more fog on your glasses: cut the air supply around your nose by taping it to your skin (to be honest I do not see this holding for long as sweat is a thing, that or you'll earn yourself a coupon for a quick way to develop an allergy to the type of glue used)
3. Hair tie using a slice of glove: I'm going bald, moving on, nothing to see here folks.
4. Homemade laxative: prune juice is the key to your rectal ampule.
5. Helping someone relax after foley-removal: blow bubbles in water to make them want to go
6. Relieve nausea using the power of undiluted booze on a swab: sniff an alcohol swab when you feel like you're going to make everyone's day that much harder.
7. We hairy males do exist, please please pleaaaaase take our pain into consideration: alcohol makes tegaderm glue go BRRRR

Hi Danielle, I'm new to your channel and I can relate a lot you. I'm currently finishing my BS in psych and I'm working as an RBT. My long life dream has always been to become a nurse and im looking into a DEMSN program but im scared of the tuition. Can you explain more in detail about your loan experience how it works and stuff? I'd appreciate it, good luck in everything!
I can try to make an entire video, cause to me it’s simple now but when I first started I was soooooo confused lol. It’s the same FAFSA application as offered in undergrad, except there are no grants/ scholarships offered through the govt. there are scholarships available through other organizations if you apply. So the student loan debt really accumulates.
A little Vick’s between nose & upper lip will keep you smelling fresh smells! (I’m a Social Worker, and this works when entering smelly homes).
A little bit of air in a vein isn’t going to kill someone. An artery is a different story.
Big gob of foam hand sanitizer to moisten a stat lock adhesive to take it off easier, works better than a alcohol swab 😃
