MY VERY DETAILED NCLEX EXPERIENCE | Kaplan, Uworld, Mark K, PVT, scams

- THIS IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. I PASSED THE NCLEX 2021 IN 75 QUESTIONS with 31 SELECT ALL THAT APPLY (SATA) questions. There was a lot of self-doubt and second-guessing if I really did enough because I only used TWO RESOURCES. Aside from all the anxiety and trying to overload myself using Kaplan, Saunders, Uworld, Mark Kilimek audio lectures, and everything else under the sun including Sarah with registered nurse RN and simple nursing videos. I did just fine once I narrowed down my nclex review study tools to just two sources. I even got a borderline chance of passing on one of my world assessments. You'll be okay. I tried the person vue trick even though some people said it doesn't work. What did work was seeing my license posted before needing to purchase the Pearson Quick Results which was amazing and $7 saved. I hope this video helps you ease your mind about the NCLEX-RN. I'm not the hottest when it comes to study structure but this is what worked for me I hope it helps you!

As lengthy as this video is I still left a few things out so just to clarify things that I would’ve wanted to know
- Finishing in 75 questions was not a big deal for me, I brought snacks and was ready to go the distance. Prepare for that!
- I took a month off before studying seriously
- Total study time ended up being 6 weeks, and I moved my exam up 1 day for work.
- It took less thank two days for my license to show up on the BRN
- If you do watch the video all the way through, you’ll hear a few Mark Klimek tips
They allow you to take snacks?
Keep going.... my sister you are an inspiration ❤ I too will take my nclex in the future. I still have 2 classes left in nursing school. I'll keep up too date with your journey.....
@experience It’s 75 questions if you answer the first 75 correctly. It can be up to 265.
@@susansmeltzer3001 not necessarily, it can also 75 when you are failing every question. There are people who had just 75 and still failed.
Hello i will advice you to work with Mr James he helped me pass mine today you can still dry him and see for your self he will give you some question and answers which i study i was so suppressed to see them on my exam day
This video hyped me up so much and built my confidence! I felt exactly the SAME way and I took the NCLEX today (cut off at 75) and I got the good pop up!!! 😎 hope it’s correct
Update: I passed in 75 q
First of, congratulations in passing your NCLEX. Thank you for sharing your experience taking the NCLEX. This really helps as I have been contemplating of signing up in one of those programs for the NCLEX review later on. I really appreciate your time sharing this information with us…
Congratulations on becoming an RN!!! You are glowing! I have watched this video multiple times because it truly encourages and inspires me! I take my nclex in about 2 weeks, im using uworld and mark k but im feeling a lot of self doubt even though im putting in the work. Thank you for uploading this, I hope to have RN behind my name soon!!❤️
Danielle, this is THE MOST HELPFUL video for NCLEX mindset and study prep I've found. Thank you so much for sharing a bit about your faith and journey through studying. I know this video will be very helpful to many of us who are in the NCELX prep phase. Have a beautiful day!
I loved this video! I take my NCLEX next week and my anxiety keeps going high and low and high and low. I listened to all the Mark k lectures (took notes) and doing lots of uworld everyday and reading rationales. This video gives me so much hope. God is so good!!
Update: I passed in 75 q (first time)
Hello! what did you study for content?
Jennifer Valdez hello congrats can I get the audio for Mark k lecture please
Congrats
Wow I’m so happy I passed my Nclex RN through mr James Questions and answer
The first time I found Mark klimek videos, I love them so much. I am listening to those videos over and over. I know I will be prepared for the NCLEX. May God continue to bless Mark Klimek 🙏
I LOVE this!!!!! It’s so comforting to see someone go through the EXACT same situation! Literally! I’m finishing up UWorld now & going over all MK videos again! I will take my assessment a few days before my exam! I’ll update you guys after! Thanks girl! ❤
Congratulations!! I'll be taking my exam first week of July, and have been listening to Mark since winter break (on and off), I even found the PDFs to his blue and yellow books online - I follow along with him. In addition, I'm doing 75-100 questions a day on Uworld, reading the rationales, and taking notes. I too feel insecure because my test scores are low. So we'll, see. God willing, I too shall pass. 🙏
Congratulations hun❤️🎉 it’s amazing seeing how far you’ve come
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this video! this is the most helpful NCLEX story video ive come across and honestly so encouraging. Please share more videos on your nursing journey/ job interviews and starting as a new grad!
Thank you so so so much!!!! I have videos in the works as I type! Thank you so much for watching 🤍
Congratulations ❤️
I had in mind to take my NCLEX on May 28th also but that date wasn't available , so I took it on May 27th ( 75 questions) I used Mark K, saunders 7th edition, and nclex high yield. I didn't purchase anything extra. I also used some of my old LPN notes
Thank God it's behind me.

Yaaay!!!! Happy for you!! Congratulations!!
This video was so inspiring I was congratulating you throughout the entire video and and couldn’t stop smiling. I am in my last semester of nursing school, I finish in May right now I’m taking mental health, leadership, and a capstone class to prepare for the exam exam(we use ATI) I’m so nervous, if anyone asked me which semester was the hardest thus far I would definitely say the last semester because you are so close but yet still so far away. Keep up the great work, you are truly an inspiration!
I love this! Thank you so much. I’m taking my NCLEX in a month, and will be using all of your tips. What I loved most is you talking about prayer. Prayer is literally how I got through nursing school!
God Bless 💓

Dear Danielle, Thanks for your video. Very helpful and inspiring. Good Luck in nursing!
I just took NCLEX 05/29/2021. I too had 30 plus SATAs. It shut off at 75 questions. I felt sooo defeated, but I passed. I used Mark K and UWORLD. I only did 75% of the test bank. I got 63% of the questions correct. I only did 1 assessment and got "highly likely" to pass. I tested only 2 weeks from my graduation date!
Congratulations!!!!!🎉 Nurse Santiago!!!
I also got a highly likely to pass and 63% right. I take the nclex in a week!
@@TheDanielleDenise Thank you!
I got highly likely as well, I tested yesterday and I walked out feeling like I didn't know anything. It was so hard. I am still feeling a million things today, I don't know if I passed. It shut off at 75. :( No update on BON or pearson vue website.. I tried the trick, but it said candidate test on hold, no registration at this time... I don't know what that means!

Best of luck to you, I'll keep you in prayer!
Thank you!! You are amazing! I did all the 2,100 + questions on UWorld and listened to Mark Klimek.
I passed my NCLEX on the first try (75 questions)!
YAAASSSS! Congratulations!!! 🎉
How was the actual exam questions compared to the UWORLD questions? Are they similar? Did you see some questions from UWORLD on the actual test? Let me know please 🙏🏽
@@muzamara I thought U world was harder but some were the same level of difficult! I recommend you to try to complete all the uworld questions to get a feel of all types of questions! My nclex didnt have any questions about math or many medication ones... but you never know what questions you get on the nclex! so it is better to prepare by practicing a lot of questions and reading all the rationales of why you got the question right or wrong.
Also tip is to not focus on the amount of questions you get on nclex because it is possible to pass with 145 questions (my friend passed with 145)
Also highly recommend Mark K!!! He is amazing at explaining nursing concepts!
GOOD LUCK!! hope this helps!

The NCLEX is veryyyy vague. Very detailed video & accurate description about Kaplan vs UWorld. Mark K is the truth 💯
Thank you so much!!🙌🙌🙌
I’m scheduled to take my NCLEX next week and this video helped ease the nerves. Since I attended school out of state, it took forever for my home state to process my paperwork and finally give me my ATT. I graduated in August and got my ATT in November. When I got my ATT my only options for testing were to take the NCLEX in two weeks or wait until January (3 month wait). I didn’t want to wait any longer since most of my peers took their NCLEX in September/October and already started working as nurses so I just scheduled the earlier test date. I don’t feel as prepared as I would’ve liked to be but like you mentioned in the video, we have taken so many tests already and done so much prep work, we have to believe we’ve got what it takes! I’ve been using uworld and Mark’s NCLEX lectures. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼
I really appreciate your positivity and encouragement, it’s helped me have a different outlook on my upcoming exam. 🙏🏼
Congratulations on your success
I’ve never heard of mark klimex ( like I’ve been hiding under a rock) I will be looking him up, but thanks for the motivation.

I am a DEMSN student in my last semester. I have my ATT & my NCLEX is scheduled and I’m feel like I’m in panic mode. I’m trying to figure out how to transition from Kaplan to Uworld and then also questioning if I should use MK lectures and the Saunders book. I’m just overwhelmed. It’s just nice to hear from another black woman in such a similar situation!
Congratulations!!
Thank you! I totally relate to what you're saying about all the resources, I had too many in the beginning. If you still have the time try using uworld on its own for a little bit, and then compare how you feel using Kaplan and Uworld, it was a bumpy transition initially, but I preferred uworld in the end. I hardly opened saunders towards the end as well because uworld gave me enough to read.
@@TheDanielleDenise that’s great advice and I the same exact resolution I came to yesterday. 😊 I have enough time to switch to Uworld and get myself acclimated to determine which Qbank is the best option for me. One last question.. how did you intertwine the Mark K lectures into your study plan? I know you said you re-listened toward the end.

This was one of the videos I watched prior to studying for my NCLEX and it really helped me ease my anxiety a bit so thank you for making this video! I also used UWorld about 6.5 weeks and passed in 75 questions! Honestly, it really is important to not let those grades on UWorld get to you and think of it as a study tool bc those rationales helped quite a bit over time. I did the first assessment on UWorld the week I started studying to see where I was at and got a 28% of passing. And throughout the weeks of doing just the quizzes (along with reading the I consistently scored anywhere between 30%-55%. By the last week I did not even finish all of the questions bc I was so burned out lol, I think I had about 250-ish questions left. I decided to do the second assessment a week prior to my NCLEX and I ended up getting a 65% & good/high chance of passing.
Another thing I also did was do the day on the Kaplan website (so by the end of my study period did about 25-30 qs altogether). I felt that the NCLEX style/vagueness of questions resembled that more than UWorld (UWorld was a lot more specific) however, I know with Kaplan their rationales are not as detailed as UWorld so studying with UWorld.
Anyone else going to write their NCLEX, you got this!!
I was NOT going to watch this video because of how long it is but im sooo glad I did watch it I needed this thanks girl!

I said the same exact thing as far as studying! However, I did not want to overrun myself with reading so I decided not to read but the videos and 75 questions and using other resources for questions for a few hours a day but I noticed I was finishing up late and becoming frustrated because my scores weren't that good so right now I am down to Mark videos, 75 Uworld questions and simple nursing and registered nurse videos in between (if I need it). Also, I drill lab values and other signs and symptoms for certain conditions I am not familiar with and I have been a little bit more calmer and confident. However, I still have my days where I feel I'm not doing enough or my scores on Uworld aren't that good or I feel I won't pass. Make a long story short, I test next week so please wish me luck!
