kian griffiths Like no offense, but it distracts me heavily. I'm not even looking at him talk anymore, just focused on it. Again, no offense. In fact, I wanna know what maybe the cause of it.
+Yo Han Yeah it's understandable, I wasn't looking at him anyway, until I looked at the comments anyway. Yeah, it'd like to know if anything was up with his arm.
I appreciate Thorin for putting his sanity on the line by doing this show. I hope swimming in those pools of AlphaDraft money like Scrooge McDuck helps reduce his blood pressure.
the guy Thorin is talking about at 36:00 just might be one of the biggest idiots ever. I agree with Thorin's thought of how useless that person is to society 1:31:00 "Everyone" Because Monte's conductor routine wasn't trashed on by everyone on the desk.
Thorin's videos are always great because if you have weak cognitive capabilities like me, there's always a very eye-opening analogy/comparison or a metaphor that follows the technical explanation.
This series is fucking brilliant. Thorin is basically summarising almost all of the idiot posts that demand long, accurate responses and putting them in their correct place in the world (the dumpster). All of us want to respond to them, none of us can be arsed, because the posts are often so idiotic and deluded they dont even merit a response. Thank you for shitting on all of them Thorin, you bring balance to the world of esports.
I'm sorry Thorin, your videos are not long enough. I want to listen and watch your rants and explanations all day, not just for 2 hours! I recently found out you got Asperger's as well, maybe that's why I love and connect with every single video you put out :) Keep up the good work!
The one he's talking about at like 34:00 is actually very common. As a k-pop fan, I know there's quite a lot of k-pop stars who like League, even having had Heechul, a member of popular boy band Super Junior, cosplay as Lee Sin multiple times and participate in showmatches against SKT and the like. It's a way of life over there.
At this point I'm only clicking the videos, press like and listen for like 20 min. max. Can't deny that this dude's content is insane, gotta give him a view and a like. Keepo
I watched this episode from my house in Tanzania, where I am currently learning swahili because it is the language that surrounds me and what I need to use to communicate, and the whole bit about learning swahili cracked me up. Here are a couple of swahili phrases in case anyone is interested. [I like Summoning Insight]--Ninapenda Summonging Insight [Their is a lot of lag in Africa]-Kuna lag sana Afrika. [I ate rice for lunch] Nilikula wali kwa chakula cha mchana. Also, yes there are swahili pop songs, their most famous singer is a man called Diamond Platinum.
I remember Sodapoppin's stream, he wasn't trying to shit talk and gossip about pro players. In fact I'm pretty sure him and Froggen are on good terms, they were hanging out together at The Gathering.
+Sergio Hernandez obviously way worse because he wouldn't be able to comunicate properly with the other members of fnatic. But if your talking about purely based on mechanics and skill level it would all depend on the teams view of the ADC role. If the rest of fnatic think that rekkles plays ADC the best way then Uzi's mentality and playstyle would only get in the way and they would have to make lots of changes. You see its not as simple and drag and drop players and see how it goes not at that level of play.
On your refuting the point that Santorin was awful Summer vs being Scapegoated, he actually did pretty decently. He had the highest KDA of the split among junglers, the lowest Death % among his team, the second highest wards cleared per minute for junglers, and average to above average stats across the board excepting wards placed/min and damage percentage. Santorin was a workhorse jungler which meant he lived and died with the team, and while TSM was shitting the bed it made him look bad. He also had some questionable positioning issues across the split, but I'd rather argue that Lustboy was the center of the problem in summer split. Communication issues and laning mistakes from him compounded Turtle's slump, which put more pressure onto Bjergsen who eventually started faltering. That combined with coaching staff issues really broke TSM's back this year. As a TSM fan, I am looking forward to a hard year of re-building the team, though I wish Santorin had stayed as he's never been the core of TSMs problems. does someone have a table of content to show where different comments are written and commented after? Or are the entrie 2 hours about some guy writing a stupid comment in less than 5 seconds?
Hey there, Thorin. I think there is one aspect that you have not discussed. Have you considered shotcalling or the overall strategy for teams for determining whether or not a player was bad (ie Santorin)? There are the obvious things we can see like mechanical issues, but maybe we don't have the full information as far as weird gank paths, lack of ganks, itemization, or using ultimates. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Santorin was a spectacular player, but I am not sure if all of it can be placed on him... or if any of the issues can be placed on a single player in most teams. Now in the case of TSM, I strongly believe that their problems in game were more likely systemic issues. (anyway, found this vid interesting)
To the point of distributing money amongs all players rather then the stars... in real sports the effect is actually the other way around. when the stars get more money the "lesser" players most of the time also get more money because they can say: "player x gets so much more why do I not get at least x amount" and that effect trickles down. thats why for example in the NBA the players association trys to raise the amount of money maximum contracts get, so that this effect also trickles down to the lesser payed players
Now i know 1 guy can fight 757 000 Challenger Players(lol Reddit) and he don't even consider surrendering on 20, in fact he played for 124 minutes, it was too boring for me, can somebody tell me who won in the end? Cause i have no time and have to play solo q, thank you.
I've never though of Deft as an amazing adc as everyone has made him out to be but indeed, his team fighting is spectacular. Kind of how Nagne has been getting bent over by most of the midlaners he's played against but redeems himself brilliantly during team fights.
The thing about this whole rekkles case is that, he himself said that, he is only required to play utility picks in fnatic because it's the solo lanes' job to carry [when he was giving the reasoning behind the kennen pick]
+ClassyFedoraLover2 dialectical materialism argues that there is no such thing as human nature but rather social circumstances. You can't actually prove human nature outside of the context of the society these humans experienced
+Oscar “Loldc222” Boman but I can always argue that this is due to that person being raised in his particular environment-society and that's why he develops these traits in power. Dialectical materialism much like many philosophy doctorines ( extreme scepticism) can't actually be proven wrong.
LeCheckmate Human nature indicates some sort of metaphysics. Marx's dialectical materialism rejects this. Please go ahead and prove it wrong, you probably need at least a PhD
Oh my god Thorin. The conversation about League girls is so true. My ex is the DEFINITION of your explanation. After we broke up she's somehow managed to be "in" with LCS pros and staying at the gaming houses of Challenger teams.
Abount the first rant, I can honestly say that I play way way way better when I have no expectation to win a game. Used to play tabletennis and as soon as I played someone that I knew I should have no chance against I tended to play my heart out and put on a pretty good show. Even winning some of those games - rarely though. But when I was considered the better player or just equal to my opponent I tended to falter, not that I played horrid but thoughts such as "Not winning will be negative for my rank" or "Damn, a loss here and my friends will never let me hear the end of it". So to me, the thing that no one expects you to win - not even you yourself - is refreshing and you can just play it out and afterwards be happy no matter what, even if you get smashed you can still be happy about it.
I feel you were abit to harsh on this mind set. I am a athlete and I can tell you first hand every time I went against a strong opponent with the mind set "im going to auto loose" I lost, but every time I worked hard and told myself "your gonna win, you gotta fight for your win" sometimes I could pull a few wins. Posititivy alone won't win you the game, but positivity and motivation fused together are powerful tools.
Thoorin-senpai can you please talk about the TSM Doublelift Event that happened ; 3 would be a good video sorry if this comment is irrelevant to this video.
About the money, I think it's important to point out that dota 2 has it much easier because it's supported by a technically competent company. Valve has the skill to build an infrastructure where teams can make more money through community support. It's only this year that Riot has done something comparable with their icons.
Anton Stenroos bang created every kalista build there has existed when first item bt max q was the meta bang invented it the new build blade than hurricane bang invented it his 12-0 on it and his kda on it is ridiculous and his ults with wolf and team fight presence is impeccable every time bang plays kalista skt wins with a 12k gold lead or more no other player has that type of dominance on it niels is good too but bang is the best kalista in the world overall

Thorin. Your salt is my cocaine, I can't get enough of this stuff. Can't wait for the next one.
+Soren Soroush yeah like Sheikh Khalid with 'Bump, Bump it up I'm Sheikh Khalid'
+Soren Soroush It's not salt he's just verbally smashing morons and getting paid for it. Feels good.
Thooorin's impression of TheOddOne giving a kid Mein Kampf is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Oh man, it cracks me up every time
These introes always on point, goddamn
Yesss. 2 fucking hours!

I appreciate Thorin for putting his sanity on the line by doing this show. I hope swimming in those pools of AlphaDraft money like Scrooge McDuck helps reduce his blood pressure.
'Most modern neo-Nazi's aren't actually from Germany' - best quote ever.
Best alpha draft plug ever

I feel ya.
This is the best video on the Internet. Really.
These alpha draft intros never disappoint
Thooorin you are the best interviewer and podcaster in my opinion, following you since the "grilled" series! Keep it up!

Great stuff like allways, haven't laughed this hard in a good time.
thanks for another 2 hours of entertainment Thorin!

is this thooorin s korea crib oder did he move in england? or does he live in amsterdam?
Id love to hear your thoughts on who TSM (League of Legends) will possibly pick up for next season.
The smile during the limerick is just too good.
Go ahead... I'll wait :)
Still waiting?
HAHAH I laughed so hard when he went to close the window, comes back, pauses......and just jumps back into it like nothing happened.

1:44:58 Needs to be watched by everyone, now. Go ahead....I'll wait.
31:50 I laughed uncontrollably at this X'D "Next time I'm going in dry mate."
Thooorin, What's your opinion on Neils' skill level compared to the great ADCs of this era? Maybe even in a historical context?
I remember Sodapoppin's stream, he wasn't trying to shit talk and gossip about pro players. In fact I'm pretty sure him and Froggen are on good terms, they were hanging out together at The Gathering.
+Zefn Made a simillar comment before I saw yours, I remember it the same way. ^^
Yeah he wasn't talking shit just telling his stream funny story's he's an entertainer but he's not one to spread gossip just to gossip
Thank you for uploading, Thorin.
The relationship advice about the friend zone and online dating was top tier!
Thorin doesnt need therapy.
He has this.
thorin is the only guy i can actually look forward to an alphadraft advertisement from xD
That background reddit comment," Come at me Thoorin I'll Rekt Your Face."
"I don't know who sodapoppin is, but fuck this guy" - Thorin 21/10/2015. Don't know why but I laughed way to hard at this.
How do you think a player like Uzi would do on fnatic better or worse than rekkles?
+Sergio Hernandez obviously way worse because he wouldn't be able to comunicate properly with the other members of fnatic. But if your talking about purely based on mechanics and skill level it would all depend on the teams view of the ADC role. If the rest of fnatic think that rekkles plays ADC the best way then Uzi's mentality and playstyle would only get in the way and they would have to make lots of changes. You see its not as simple and drag and drop players and see how it goes not at that level of play.
+Prodo Man Putting Imp on Fnatic would probably make the team crash.

I actually enjoy your alphadraft ads :D
I love the voice acting for some of these.

Communist ideology is not insane or idiotic as long as it is self consistent.
+Jason Dougenis due to human nature, it is flawed.

Lmfao the idea of naming your daughter Louisiana.
