"Push it all together and SHove it up here", hahahaha. I don't know why but this really cracked me up this morning. And your Ugh(s), and EW. Love the Spring clean-up!
It is amazing how much you and your team can get done in a day! This was one of the first videos I watched when I first started following you after moving to CA. Can't believe it has been 2 years. Garden looks beautiful
I live a few streets over from this installation and ALWAYS swing around the block to gawk at this garden's beauty! I have learned a lot just watching it grow. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! My young daughter is so tempted to touch and play but there is something about the space that makes her show reverence and keep her hands to herself (mom's watchful eye as well!). Bummed I didn't walk by on a day you and the DFS team were working your magic. Great work you guys!
I do get how your maintenance included dialing back some plants and overgrowth using "RESTRAINT" in what you put back. I get so many tips and lessons from your maintenance videos regarding resetting, moving, pruning, adding, and subtracting plants depending on their microclimate success. Fascinating and artful. Cheers to your team DFS digging up, pruning, resetting, and fulfilling your fine tooth-combing excellent perfectionist professional standards. Love the before and after video views so we can imagine our own edits as we learn from yours. The new pot in front of the "beach" with the coppery fire glass is so good, as is the original trigona standing in the milii.
Laura! It's so fun to watch your videos, and not just b/c of the beauty/satisfaction factor; your voice, language, specificity, tone are rigorous and kind. You make learning fun, and shine a light on the benefits of learning by trying. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Hi from Oz, Wow don't blame you for not wanting to leave that garden. It is a real credit to you and your team. I just love it and watch the video over and over. It is getting harder for me to work in the garden with much effect but You do encourage me to keep doing what I can. Love from Oz
This is so beautiful. I love your use of the rock swaths that tie everything together. The bed of bright red around the tall cactus was very pretty too. Wish I could be there and see it in person.
Amazing that this was just maintenance or fluff and buff as you said. You were right, I didn’t want to leave (or have you stop filming) there is just so much to look at and enjoy. You astound me with your installations. But I love that you share your knowledge and expertise with us ❤
10 out of 10 maintenance!!! Stunning!! .... Laura, will u consider adding more blue plants next time? on the side garden the blue was just spectacular and amazing to look at.... maybe you can pull more of it into the coral reef side - blue is the color of the sea/ocean after all.
Love watching and following along with you on your channel. I don't think I'll ever have you visit my garden 😂 because the way I have it situated doesn't jive with how you arrange things. My garden makes me happy ❤
What a piece of heaven there . Great job Laura and company ! Absolutely love that large black leaved Mangave at the top of the mound near the corner where the street sign is. Am lusting after one of those 🙂Recently received an order of 14 plants from Planet Desert near Fallbrook, Ca. Great plants but will be years before they reach impressive size. Hope I live that long. I have a Queen Vic. Regina agave that is close to 25 years old. I live in Wis. so plants only get about four months of outdoors every summer. Had health issues and the poor thing sat in basement without water or light for nearly two years 😞At least two thirds of the bottom is dried and black but the top still has some color. Took it outside a couple weeks ago for rehab on a covered porch. Afraid to water it too much. If it shows any sign of growth before frost in fall, I am wondering if I should pull it out of the pot and cut the roots off if they are dead. How much trunk would you leave to hope for re-rooting ? I am at a loss as to what to do to possibly save it ! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated THANKS in advance.
this is one of my favorite installations... you could study it for hours... you and your team, wow! a day's work and look at it now!! 😍😍😍😍 ps.. thanks for the note about the clivia... will never call it "that other name" again (i, too, was raised to call it the offensive name)...
Gobsmacking indeed!! What a stunner this garden is. What was the name of the succulent at 24:43? You mentioned it twice but I couldn’t find it by what I wrote phonetically. Gorgeous gorgeous specimens!! 😍🤩
This may be a weird question: how does your client keep people from stealing plants from their garden? It just occurred to me this could be a problem. 😮
I remember the installation. How lovely to see it again. I wonder if little children like to ramble around among the rocks ? I know I would be tempted !! 🤣🪴🌵🌺💕
Watching from zone 6b and I just found your channel. So fascinating having never seen this many low water plants. Wondering how I can grow as houseplant? Which would you recommend.
Hi Laura, I noticed a lot of the Sansevieria have brown leaf spot fungus. Maybe you could suggest to your client that they treat their sans with systemic fungicide?
I recognized parts of this garden as you panned around with the camera. Wasn’t there a cactus at the fire glass cave? There is such complex beauty in this design and I guess “gobsmackimg” just about says it al! Can you give me the botanic name for the coin plant? I’m not sure what plant that is.
I have an enormous mission to mars too. How would I dig it out without puncturing myself? It’s vicious and I’m scared of it! I’d love tips for my safety!
"Push it all together and SHove it up here", hahahaha. I don't know why but this really cracked me up this morning. And your Ugh(s), and EW. Love the Spring clean-up!
When you said gobsmacked, that was perfect. What a joy to see this garden.
Doesn’t seem possible it’s been 2 years! Great zen video
I love the maintenances. It is always so great to catch up on an installation, see how it has matured, and see how the edit works out.
Thanks for bringing us here, i just cannot say how much i love this instillation.
It is amazing how much you and your team can get done in a day! This was one of the first videos I watched when I first started following you after moving to CA. Can't believe it has been 2 years. Garden looks beautiful
Thanks for sharing a great artwork of succulents at a garden in the USA. It's really beautiful and magnificent 😍 🤩
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing succulents garden looking very lovely
The garden had great bones and the maintenance returns it to such a great show. Great combo of location, size, owner, and you all!!

Yes! One of my favorite installations and I love it when you go back to share how the gardens have grown and flourished. 🌵

So much plant matter! So much color! Just beautiful!

When I Pot the crested species I always add perlite and coal to air and to prevent from fungus. It prevents from rotting

This is so beautiful. I love your use of the rock swaths that tie everything together. The bed of bright red around the tall cactus was very pretty too. Wish I could be there and see it in person.
What a beautiful piece of art. I love the coral reef interpretations you come up with.
Absolutely lovely! Have you thought of doing a video on how the client makes those concrete planters?
This garden is absolute joy👏👏👏

Wow this garden has come a long way. Absolutely stunning. 😍
Just can't believe all the cutting went in the bin 😭
Hope he keeps the sticks on fire! It really fits the coral reef vibe and love the color. It was the first thing I noticed in the video.
Sad too see them gone 😢
I added some back in at the end!
@@LauraEubanks Yay!

This may be a weird question: how does your client keep people from stealing plants from their garden? It just occurred to me this could be a problem. 😮
It’s an ongoing risk.
So far, this garden has been respected by all that pass by😊
Amazing 🤩 I love it 😍. People don’t take those plants because I would be so nervous 😬. N what all those leftovers go. 😅
By far my best garden out of all
I have no words too ❤
BEAUTIFUL!!
I can't wait till tomorrow
I remember the installation. How lovely to see it again. I wonder if little children like to ramble around among the rocks ? I know I would be tempted !! 🤣🪴🌵🌺💕

Many of the slow growing cactus crests will thrive in a sunny window.
I love ur vids!
Hi Laura, I noticed a lot of the Sansevieria have brown leaf spot fungus. Maybe you could suggest to your client that they treat their sans with systemic fungicide?
Is that what causes that browning? I was going to ask
@@theweirdplantguy4873 in my experience yes. Specially the laurentii, robusta and hahnii types.
@@oscaredmundfrancisco1052 thank you
Btw, I visited Southwest B&S for materials for a park i work at. Amazing place
How did the owner build the planters? I would love to build one for my yard.

Does it ever rain 🌧 ??? Wish my place is as dry as yours most time of the year
Beautiful work. I live a few blocks away and will have to go check it out. Does anyone know what brand/kind of metal edging that is?
I thought the other name for _Clivia_ was 'Natal Lily', after the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa?
Would like details on the planters the owner made. Are they wood or ceramic? Hard to tell.
🌸
Are they going to paint that peeling wall?
It’s on the “to do” list.
We dont have all rgese in england.Id die to have jyst a couple of them.
I have an enormous mission to mars too. How would I dig it out without puncturing myself? It’s vicious and I’m scared of it! I’d love tips for my safety!
🙋
Omg, The plant material in trash can. Please don’t throw them away. I would be happy to take them
all. 😢
Just.......😮🥹🥰
