I have always had difficulty with the herringbone design trying to make a both sides match up. Your design eliminates that difficulty. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world. You have definitely inspired me to try the herringbone design again!
Your comment means a lot to me, DL! I have always struggled with the herringbone wrap too, so I decided after a decade to make my own technique to this. I hope it helps you and I hope it inspires your creativity!
Girl you are like genious. I have some cabs coming this week. Cant wait to try these. Thehook and all built right in. I love it!!! Ill post when I'm done. Great tutorial, thank-you 😊
Awwwe, thank you, Wynona! These are so cute and easy to make, I'm super happy you love them! And I'd love to see your creations when you post, thank you!!❤️❤️🙏
These are so gorgeous but was trepidatious about caging a small cab. I’ve only done herringbone with beads . But not to worry. I’m here to learn and you are a Master Teacher. As always you have done a masterful job and the variations. That’s why you are you though. I would have never thought to add those pretty little curves in front. But Learning I am . Thanks again for all your hard work , Sensei. I wait for next lesson.
You can do this, Peggy! :) It takes a time or two, but it clicks in. Your comments are so meaningful and thoughtful, thank you always, for your kind support!
Another beautiful design and again, AWESOME JOB! I can't imagine how much time and work you put into these tutorials! I thank you for that! I just bought some cabochons and I'm still trying to learn how to CAPTURE them! I think practice is key but I do agree with a few people who have asked you to explain your tutorials out loud! I just hope that is what I'm missing in terms of why I'm not getting it?! So if you don't mind? Thank you in advance! ❤️
Thank you very much for this lovely comment, Lori! I agreed too and the more recent tutorial are talkies. ;) ua-cam.com/video/4vamSf19b08/v-deo.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE Have fun! I hope you get it, but please reach out if you need more help.
It makes me happy to read, Gail, thank you. I think teaching that part of it is as important as a solid and absolute pattern. I want to spark creativity as well as share technique and design, best that I can anyway. I'm always learning too, but after 15+ years, I have a lot to share still.
I use the Xuron pliers for a lot of lighter jewelry work, I think you're asking about the Bent Nose pliers? If so, here's the link... xuron.com/index.php/main/consumer_products/5/34 Thanks again!!
