You are an excellent instructor. You explain so clearly and it’s obvious that you’ve planned out what to say so that you don’t have a lot of uhhs and umms taking up time. I always appreciate good teaching. Good job!

I completed my cardigan yesterday. Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial. For this interested, I made the size M/L and used ~1800 yards of Alize Lanagold Classic yarn.
I've searched and tried so many cardigan patterns over the last few days and then I came across your one, it's definitely not intimidating like others I've seen... I've just started making this and I'm loving it so far, thankyou for making this video, I'm excited for the end result
Omg, this turned out so great! Yosemite colorway. I showed it to my nieces before the sleeves were attached and they convinced me to leave them off. I did, and love the shrug look for layering. Just an option. Great pattern. Bought more yarn today to make another as they both want one.
LOVE THIS. I had tried a shrug at least 5 times, NEVER turned out. My daughter wanted this one and I can not believe I did it in a week and IT FIT BEAUTIFULLY. I am now making another...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.
i do it to relax even if i have one yarn ball and wil have to undo it in the end to do more but crochet is therapy to me again tahnk you so much , my therapist became a fan of yours and i showed her the dwell sweater, once I'm done with exams I'll make it for her , keep going please
I absolutely love your easy to follow videos!!!! This will be the second sweater im making from your videos!!!! Thank you for being so easy to follow!!!!

I've now made 2 of these sweaters and love them! The 2nd one, I went up a size and ignored the gauge since I could never get it. My sweater is roomy and fits like the one shown on the model.
I love the pattern! I did the cardigan and it's so beautiful. Now I'm doing a blanket with the grit stitch and I'm already in love with it. Thank you so much for the video!
I haven't made anything like this in ages and boy, does it feel good to be crocheting again. I'm almost done with the main rectangle piece and am so looking forward to the finished sweater!
I absolutely love this pattern but was incredibly sad when I got all of it done but the sleeves and tried it on for the 2-3x and it was way too small. I followed the pattern exactly. Your work is lovely and I love that you provide free written patterns as well. But maybe try looking into more true to size measurements for us bigger women?❤
OMG!!!! I just finished my sweater & you were right! I do feel like a Crotchet Goddess in this sweater. I have to have several of these in different colors now. Thank you so much for posting!
This is Beautiful Frances. Can’t wait to crochet this beautiful sweater. Your instructions are so clear. I love your patterns and I have purchased the other sweater you also have a tutorial for. I love them all. Thank you for teaching us crocheters. Always love to learn new crochet patterns ❤️❤️
Thank you for the tutorial. I'm advanced beginner who never made clothes before. I went one size up which turned out baggy. However this is draped one it still looks so nice! I'm gonna make one for my kids. Very simple and easy tutorial to follow. Again, thanks!
That's the great thing about this sweater - even if it is baggy, it still looks cozy and stylish! I'm glad you like yours, and happy to hear the tutorial was helpful.

Hi Jess, I'm in the process of making mine now...thanks so much for an EASY pattern & your video tutorial. Would love to see more like this....you're awesome!
This is one of my favorite patterns! Easy to follow and so cozy when finished! I made one as a gift but now I need to make one for me! Highly recommend!
I just finished making this sweater in lion brands heartland Rocky Mountain color. A really nice darker muted green. I love it! Super cute, comfy and warm. I am a little frightened about picking it or catching a thread on something and pulling it.
i just finished making mine ( black) and it can't be any better❤❤ thank you so much for your easy to understand explanation and the free written pattern 😘😘 i used M/L size measurements and it fits me perfectly
Make & Do Crew how many sticks did you have to do for yours. I have a very hard time understanding it when its written. And would love to make one but dont understand how many I need to start.
I made a M/L for myself. So for the first row, I chained 99. The written pattern explains how to adjust for sizing if you need a different size. Hope that helps!
Thank you for this! I went ahead and purchased the PDF pattern. I figured it was the least I could do since you put all the work into this. I have 2 sets of crochet hooks that both go up to 6mm and then I have a few super big ones. But no 6.5mm. GAH! And I was just at Michaels! Guess I'll start on the sleeves. :)
I'm making this sweater now. I'm kinda new to crochet (about 1yr) and i found this sweater to be VERY easy BUT I just wanna say that I officially hate "hdc front loop only" ugh it's a headache maker! I'm almost done though! Woohooo! Thank you for another great tutorial!

Thank you so much for such a well explained and easy tutorial to follow! I purchased the pattern as I need a larger size and so far I'm loving this project! Excited to finish and try another of your tutorials! ❤
I purchased the pattern and 💕love the design and enjoyed making it 💕 thank you so much for this great pattern. I’m working on the sleeves now ~ I’m using the chain amount in (...) to make the sleeves but I’m using a thinner yarn 🧶 than yours ~ that is the reason I purchased the pattern so i can work on the “inch given ~ however there are no “inch on the sleeves? Please can you email or provide me with the sleeve measurements?
Hi. I think your work is UH-MAZING, and I had a question how many skeins did you use to accomplish this look and realistically how long (hours) from start to finish
Very nice sweater pattern to follow. I used a different type of lion brand yarn and I'm almost done with my sweater...I would however not say its beginner friendly especially if you need to learn how to make double crochets and half doubles too
Thank you so much!!! It is so easy to understand you; you are so clear and concise and get straight to the point without running off on a tangent. I absolutely love this, it's beautiful and even though I'm only two rows in, the stitch already looks effortlessly beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️
That's so great to hear! I'm happy that the video tutorial is helping, and you're already making great progress. It'll be done just in time for cooler temps!
I would consider myself an intermediate crocheter and started this piece with the same yarn and hook size yesterday. I am 20 rows in, so I am not going to start over, but I would like to state that the gauge you gave for this piece was a ways away from what I have made. I didn't have a ruler on hand and was following along with the written pattern, so I could be to blame, but it seems a little far fetched in myt opinion. I am making a small and the width in the pattern is 38.5 inches for the beginning rectangle and I have ended up with a width of 31 inches! I'm sure this will just make do for a more snug piece but my mind is kind of blown away with the difference... this is just a heads up to anyone wanting to start this project!
Mine is a bit smaller too. Measuring 33 inches. I'm going to add a few more rows "up" so I can get a bit closer to that measurement. Was off that way too. But, first time making this, and I'm not ripping out 64 rows....LOL
Hello, I just started this cardigan and noticed your question. I’m having the same problem, but I’m only 3 rows in. I printed the pattern out and also making a small. She states that the Finished rectangle dimensions width is 41.5 and height is 22”. I’m using same yarn and needles but I’m coming up with 30 for width and I am a loose crocheter. I just can’t figure her numbers out. Do you think going up a size in the hook would help. I’m also sorry for asking you all these questions and thank you if you have any advice. I left a message for her but she hasn’t responded.
Glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue. Even with a hook size several sizes up it's still coming up too small on the swatch. Curious to know how others have resolved this.
This is my first time in your channel and as I was looking to make something for my mom as a Christmas present this year. You have explained everything well and I will do my best to make one. Thanks for the video tutorial.
Thank you very much for this! This is a brand new stitch for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I started out intending to make this cardigan but accidentally made a gift blanket instead. OK, now going to make me this sweater! So stoked! Thank you! xox
I've already made 1 cardigan for myself right now I'm making one for my Mom and I am going to be making many more as I can already tell I will need a few of these for myself
I cannot wait to start this project ! So many colour ideas for not only me but family and friends winter gifts! Thank you thank you thank you! I am a new subscriber and a newbie at crochet and your tutorial was super easy and informative ✨🥰🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hi Suzanne - yay! This cardigan is perfect for beginners, and I'm sure you'll have no trouble with it. It will make a great gift for winter. We are glad to have you with us!
Thank you so much for your easy to understand videos. I'm a first time crochet-er (is that a word?) And this sweater turned out so beautiful. Your instructions on seaming and joining were point on. You even helped us identify which side was the rs or the ws so easily. Thank you!
Thank you for a great pattern , did just buy it, English written patterns are hard to understand sometimes, I am swedish and a beginner, but with the video it all looks easy. 🤗🙏 Bought yarn today to.
I bought some red yarn to make my mother something! It was a dye lot and before I could buy enough they discontinued the yarn. I’ve been so sad cuz it’s not enough for a blanket and she loves it too much to use for “just anything” Now I know exactly what I will be doing with the yarn!! Thank you so much! I feel like every woman needs this cardigan!!
I love the style of the sweater. I’m fairly new to crochet (again) so appreciated the ease of the pattern after I finally got the hang of it. I actually had a great deal of trouble in the beginning and tore is out at least 4 times if not more. For some reason I was having difficulty with the stitch count working out with each row. I got the written pattern by buying the kit through Lion Brand. I goofed with the needle size because I misread the pattern and used the smaller needle for the back extension and collar piece. Not wild about the way that fits around my tush now but didn’t want to tear it all out after all the work, lol. It looks alright though. I did have a bit of difficulty with your video and found others’ videos which I found did a better job explaining the stitches but came back to yours to follow the pattern. There were spots in the video that your work was just below the camera and I couldn’t see what you were doing. I just have to attach the sleeves now. Overall I love it! Thank you for such a nice pattern & current style which I am finding hard to find with crochet patterns.
Omg you are so awesome 👏. Your explanations are so clear and easy to follow. I’m half way completed and will certainly try some of your others projects. Thanks so much!
That overview in the beginning makes everything a million times easier to visualize, thank you!!!

Everyone's tension is different. Making a gauge swatch beforehand is useful
Beautiful cardigan .. and you did an amazing job explaining how to make it .. will be my next project for sure
Thank you Michelle! I'm glad you are going to make one too.
This is my first time in your channel and as I was looking to make something for my mom as a Christmas present this year. You have explained everything well and I will do my best to make one. Thanks for the video tutorial.
Yay! That's great to hear! This cardigan is super beginner-friendly, and I'm sure your mom will love it. :)
Thank you very much for this! This is a brand new stitch for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I started out intending to make this cardigan but accidentally made a gift blanket instead. OK, now going to make me this sweater! So stoked! Thank you! xox

I'm just starting this and am super excited for it to be done.
This was a really excellent tutorial. It was super clear and very helpful-thanks!
I appreciate the feedback! I'm glad to hear it was helpful for you. :)
I just finished mine and I love it! Thank you for sharing.
Yay! You're welcome!
I made this for a work friend of mine because she gets cold very easily. Thank you very much for the pattern!
Great! This cardigan is perfect for throwing on and still being comfy and warm. :)
I bought some red yarn to make my mother something! It was a dye lot and before I could buy enough they discontinued the yarn. I’ve been so sad cuz it’s not enough for a blanket and she loves it too much to use for “just anything”
Now I know exactly what I will be doing with the yarn!! Thank you so much! I feel like every woman needs this cardigan!!
I agree! So glad it'll work with your red yarn. Enjoy!
Just love this pattern and only have sleeves left 🎉 thank you so much for this Amazing pattern! You Rock ❤🌹
Awesome!! You're almost done and ready to wrap up in a cozy crochet cacoon! You are very welcome. :)
Thank you as I was looking for this as am fed up of granny square so this makes a lovely piece! 💜💕🌹
Hermoso trabajo.
Podes poner subtítulos en español.. Gracias
Thank you so much for the sweet feedback, Sandra! I'm glad you find the videos helpful. Happy crocheting! :)
