I know I am late for the party, but I have just started this cardigan. THANK YOU SO MUCH for introducing me to this stitch. I LOVE crocheting on large hooks with chunky yarn... but so many stitches look "wrong" with chunky wool. This one does not! I think the wool I bought must be thicker as I am using 12" and adapted stitch count. Making for my friend for Christmas x
This is so cozy. Just finished making it in Big Twist Cuddle from Joann. I made the sleeves two bobbles longer as my daughter has long arms, she loves it and I may have to prise it off her for washing!!
It's phenomenal! I used to crochet, now I knit. I have made some beautiful sweaters, for ill friends. For many of them, it's their first handmade item.
Made my fifth one today. LOVE this pattern. Easy to adapt - (if required - e.g. longer... for smaller friends.. or larger! Even adapted with aran for my Mother in Law!). Thank you so much x
This sweater is absolutely gorgeous. Your instructions are clear and your voice and music is so calming. This is a beautiful video. Thank You so much for sharing.
Wow, I just found your channel, and watched your Crochet Oversized Boble Sweater tonigh! I was thinking: finnaly something original, and that I could wear...because most of what I find (and that I can make, I'm not a professional crocheter! Just beginner-intermidiate one, doing crochet amigurumis, which I'm pretty good I must say, but just starting since 1-2 year making wearables)...because most of the time, I like making crochet patterns that I find, but not wearing them without looking like an old lady without taste!!! LOL So tonigh I was happy to find this pattern and the others tops that you created. The only thing is , I wanted more! LOL Like a light winter sweater with a huge cowl...or cool and original legs and/or arms warmers, etc....I'll keep watching in case you post some of your wonderfull creativity!!!
Girl you are rocking it, I was looking for a good tutorial for this kind of cardigan, and I saw many, but you’re is best and the closer to ones I saw, thank you so so so much
Hey, great tutorial. I'm in the process of making this, on the front panel at the moment. The stitch is lovely and unusual. Can't wait to start the sleeves. Keep up this great work and THANKYOU.
Thank you very much for this beautiful bobble cardigan. Your instructions are easy to follow. I can’t wait to go to my yarn store and purchase the yarn tomorrow. Blessings to you.
Thank you for this video I have made approximately 5 sweaters in different colors so every last one of them thank you for your time in doing this video great works ❤❤❤❤❤
Dear Carrie, What a lovely sweater.I’m very excited to give a go.Though,I know you have the written pattern on your website for extra details.I would really appreciate if you could lengthen your video to show the tutorial being done instead of cutting short.I think visually it’s much more explainable.I love your work and style and really excited to try on the projects you’ve on here.Love supporting your channel .Thank you happy crochet ☺️🌸
Hello Carrie! I absolutely positively, LOVE your videos and your patterns! You do some "AWESOME" work; And your teaching skills are fantastic! I love the FACT how you take the time and show your audience how to make a CERTAIN stitch! Please! Please! Please KEEP the ideas coming! Can this oversized bobble stitch be worked using 10 instead of 5 to create a MUCH larger "Bobble" like I've seen in some of the foreign videos that involved "Bobbles"? I've seen great videos with them but you CANNOT translate or understand how to make the stitches! But once again I just wanted to give you your "KUDOS" because GIRL; you did THAT!!!! Be Blessed and I pray that God continue to enrich your knowledge and ideas!
Hi Bessie! What a lovely comment to receive from you. You have most definitely put a huge smile on my face. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Answering your question: yes you can use 10 if you like, but just remember that it will use a lot more yarn. Happy Crocheting!
Hello Carrie, Just to let you know I have finished the bobble cardigan 💖💖. Your instructions were fab and sooo easy to follow thanks you so much xxx Would love to see more patterns like that, as they grow so fast lol... 🤩
This is beautiful. I can't wait to make this! I've actually just started making one that is similar from Annoo's crochet design here on UA-cam. But I'm definitely going to make this too. I love that its chunky, oversized and textured..love the style of it. I'm off to purchase some new yarn to make this next. 👍🏼😊
Beautiful Sweater! Please help me understand how the sweater is put together? I always watch the video before making and I don't understand what parts being put together in the beginning?
Beautiful cardigan thx so much I m making the end of the cardigan Of sleeves 14:50 Dc front and back 1 row or 2 rows ? In the pattern Next row: Ch 2, dc across. Turn. Next 2 rows: Ch 2, fpdc, bpdc across. Turn. Many thx 🙏🏻
@@HeyCarrieCrochet Would you add the same amount of stitches to the sleeves for the increase (i.e., 2 sts to front and back then add 4 sts to sleeves)? Thank you, it's beautiful. I need a size xl-1x
Hi Carrie, First of all, THANK you so much for making this tutorial! Its so easy for beginners (like myself) to understand!! However, I have been running into issues that I just couldn’t figure out why.. For this sweater, you used 11x100g yarn right? I did the same but 11 just doesn’t seem to be enough... Could you help me out pleasee 😩😩😩
Hi Carrie, Love the sweater.. Can you please tell me how many skeins of yarn are used for this project and what size is the sweater in the video. I would like to make a 2x size, what would be the measurements? Thank you
The pattern says to crochet from your collar bone to hip. As it is the back I wasn't sure whether I needed to measure up over the shoulder from the collar bone or down the front. Can anyone help?
Did anyone else have a problem with the first row it says chain 52 And then afterwards you do the second row and it doesn’t add up so I added one more chain and started the first road again and then it added up
I thought I was going mad until I read this. It doesn't add up for me either. Ch 52 but then work into second ch from hk. That leaves one st after row 2 because we're only working in twos. Will frog and start again. 😅
Thank you for your time and patience doing this video I am glad I found your Channel because I know how to do the bubble Stitch but the other part of the sweater look like it's knitting and it will keep you warmer in the winter and I have the right color yarn for this weather thank you from Atlanta Georgia beautiful work you are doing❤❤❤❤❤
I just came across this video! I'd love to make this for my daughter as a Christmas present. Can this be made with regular Worsted Weight size 4 yarn? How many skeins did you use?
@@HeyCarrieCrochet greetings from windy Ireland, just a question after you have done foundation chain you say single crochet next row, do you mean slip stitch or double crochet, us or uk terms, i have doubled up my aran wool :)
I always use American crochet terms for all of my patterns so when I say do a row of single crochet I think that’s a double crochet in UK terms. Hope that’s helpful to you.
Hey Carrie :) I just found that tutorial and I’m in love and i’ll start it tomorrow .. I just need you to tell me if I wanted to make it a bit smaller .. should i make it 40 stitches instead of 50? and the sleeves 28 stitches? and also did you attach the sleeves with single crochet or how? I’ll be waiting for your answer :)
hey! i was just wondering if this is easy/fit for beginners. i just started crocheting a couple days ago and i’m not sure if this would work for me. thank you!
Definitely not, I think for a brand new beginner you should practice granny squares first, then try scarfs, then maybe hats! Stick to simple projects first so you can learn!

Hey Carrie, what a beautiful pattern. I have never seen it. Awesome job👍🤗
About what size are you making in the tutorial?
I love this pattern one of my new favorites
It will fit s/m/l as it’s made to be oversized but if you need it bigger increase your foundation chain in multiples of 2.

To make your sleeves bigger just add 4 stitches so for the size you want I would suggest you make a chain of 36. Hope this helps xx

Muy bonito trabajó me encanta
How many yards of yarn do I need for this cardigan? Someone please answer thanks
I love your pattern and it looks easy. I am a beginner so what size is this pattern and how to adjust the number of stitches to use a thinner yarn?
It's oversized. For sizes small medium and large. The larger the hook the bigger the sweater.
Can I double my 4 weight yarns for this?
How much we must have to take a chane to make a sweater for big ladies
how could i alter the pattern so that i can use a less bulky weight yarn? would i still need 11 rolls?
