Slowing down on the roads and driving for the weather conditions will greatly reduce the danger of winter driving. Too many people drive way too fast in the snow and ice.
You must have been in western Pennsylvania last year when you experienced the bitter cold. I'm outside Philly. Last winter was a piece of cake. It barely got down to freezing and we haven't had any snow in over 600 days. Hopefully this winter will be a repeat of last year. 🤞
Possibly, I don't remember exactly where I was in PA. There was a ton of snow everywhere, and it was freezing. 🥶 Like you said, hopefully, this winter is mild. 🧔🏿👍🏿
Is the pay worth it? DO You get a lot of work? Especially within your 1st year. I understand the work ethic that's needed. I live in Connecticut, and i spoke briefly with a recruiter. I just have to add combinations to my permit.
It's been worth it for me. Every driver's experience is different, though, based on your goals and needs, among other things. I consistently have freight to move. It really helps if you either live in a good area of the country where there is demand or you stay out on the road longer and can freely move.
@EruditeTrucker Thank you..Would you say that if a person stays out longer, they can make 1,200+ after taxes. Also, your channel is great! You go into a lot of detail. If anyone is starting TMC, and they come across your channel.. I'm sure they'd hope for a trainer such as yourself. Much respect, bro.
Just found your channel really enjoying your videos
Awesome, thank you! Welcome to the channel. 🧔🏿👍🏿
the worst part is when your frozen hands start to thaw
In tmc orientation man im a little nervous about cold weather

Could you make a recommendation for shoes/winter boots. I’m new to flatbedding and this my first winter 🥶. Thanks!
Here's a link to a set that I've used. My last pair lasted two years over the road.

Thanks for the compliment! $1,200 + after tax is definitely possible, especially when you stay out.
😗🤭😊👍
Man, 8 more days? 😮💨
Sorry, it will be worth the wait. 😅
Do TMC trucks come with apu?
No, they only use inverters.
