    Just subed not too long ago...going to be starting TMC soon so your videos are extremely helpful. Question I have is on a load like that would you drop the air in your trailer to make it less tall or would that not make much of a difference ?

    • @EruditeTrucker
      @EruditeTrucker  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for the sub!
      As tall as that load looked, it was no higher than the 13'6 realm. You could dump the air in the trailer for a special scenario and move for a short distance, but I would not drive with the air dumped for a prolonged period of time.

      @@EruditeTrucker well just as far as load securement to make the overall height lower . But that wouldn't help so much with a 13' load I imagine .

    • @EruditeTrucker
      @EruditeTrucker  2 місяці тому

      There isn't much you can do to make the load itself lower. If you have something that is that tall, you should definitely measure the height before you take off with it. If it's over 13'6 you should take an overheight route to avoid hitting anything.

      The tremble in the truck will notify you of some low bridge clearances. I never fully trust that, though. I always look out for the road signs.
      Keep an eye out for me. I run a lot, you could see me anywhere.🚛💨💨

    You keep saying FL. is not a good money spot. Which states would you say are good $$$ spots?

    Do you need to go over the scale when parking up overnight at a weigh station? Or can you drive past it and park.

    • @EruditeTrucker
      @EruditeTrucker  4 місяці тому +1

      I go by what the arrow in the weigh station says. If I get the green arrow, I'll bypass the scale and park. If not, I'll get on the scale before I park.

    Another good video. What kind of refrigerator do you have in your truck? I just finished with my trainer at TMC this past Friday.
