Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Some of them probably did use the spa services, increasing their business
I can imagine one of those hardened criminals with tattoos getting pedicure lmao
You can see a guy in one of the massage chairs putting his hand up
@@DoctorXander two of them, but neither of them were being worked on so it's a maybe
@@FishAnvil Eventually the more people who come to the spa, the more likely they gonna be using the services.
And anyone who actually wants those services is going to see that group of suspicious oddballs and head somewhere else, maybe for good.
Poor Spooch, now he's got an ATM for a head
hes got money on his mind !!
@@lolt642 money for nothing and gets his chicks for free
Wow, i totally missed that hes the guy from BB. Does it mean that instead of facing consequences for whatever he did, Saul's "get out of jail free card" led him to become a drug addict?
@@gigabilly1160 yes, the whole premise of the show is human decadence. That's why the cop that got hit by Huell says to Jimmy to please stop encouraging criminals to... Well, commit crimes
people love to take credit for the fun ones!
Cucumber water for customers only - for not burning down the joint
This is what Jimmy wanted all show long. Clients who call him. Now they’re scattered all over his office.
he has become saul, the one called by clients
Lalo kinda made Saul career 😅
I took a moment to like this comment because UA-cam put a "Translate to English" link directly beneath it.
Isn’t Lalo the reason he has the Saul personality?
@@ternence8818i thought it was because of Chuck
@@ternence8818yes and yes Saul always had that personality since Marco he just never wanted to be that because he looked up to Chuck but after their fall out, he just fully embraced it. Lalo didn’t make Saul but he did make Saul successful after he represented him
Water in the fishbowl looks so murky. The goldfish is one of my favorite symbols in the show
With all due respect, you're muddying the waters here.
@@cinnamonflavord I know where my own damn bank is
@@cinnamonflavord M-Muddying the waters!?
Symbol for what ?
@@Zinozadyes I would like to know as well, I must have lost memory watching the show
Ironically, the sleazy office location probably made Saul even more legit in the eyes of the underworld.
When I rewatched the series, I saw Saul completely differently as I then knew what he did to Howard.
Wdym 'as then I knew what he did to howard' ? What did he do that werent shown or something else?
@@MICROKNIGHT3000 before i spoil a pivotal moment in BCS, have you finished the show?
@@MICROKNIGHT3000 very obvious that you haven't actually seen the show and just probably wached youtube highlights, he's not talking about one of the last episodes of the series
Goes to show how big the Salamanca’s were, anyone who associated with them and survived earned some credibility by criminals.
I'm in this episode I was so happy to be even in the background
Wow really? Where are you?
right behind Spudge (I want to say is how u spell it) when he's talking to saul sitting down I'm in the grey sweater with no sleeves and black long arms on what would be considered the right side when saul enters if you looked at it from sauls original point of view @DarkF4lcon
@@foodcritic738 that is so cool! Did you live in/near ABQ at the time?
@@foodcritic738I see you! That’s awesome man.
@literatemax yea I live in abq it's surprisingly easy to get into doing background work here
"Turn a left at the washing machine." -- I love it.
"No, don't put your head under it!"
That was the point Saul became 'the man'.
He’s got gas in the tank, and money in the bank.
@@freshnewcungaderoand a hit out on hank
El es amigo del Cartel
Tu madre es una amiga del cartel
Yo soy abogado
Yo soy avocado
Saul sin duda es el mejor abogado ficticio del mundo xD
Donde esta la bibliotecha
That guy doesn’t look like the same Spooch from Breaking Bad
That’s the point. Saul saved him from the consequences of his actions and it eventually cost him his life.
There's a Method behind that.
Because he was 13 years older when they shot this scene, despite it being a prequel.
Odenkirk is just the best...
I’d love to see a series going deeper into Mike Ermanthraut’s life
It's Lalo time
Sometimes I find it hard to believe that he was Jimmy Mcgill before he said It's all good man
You can see how shocked/disappointed Saul look when the guy mentioned Lalo
Lalo learns about it and tells Saul - you owe me a cut.
So apparently Spooch used to be part of a seemingly successful biker gang?
Bedda call saul
I just noticed- isn’t it kind of weird for Jimmy to openly acknowledge in front of a ton of people that he’s “Salamanca’s guy?” Seems almost out of character- what if one of these guys just so happened to be a rat? Also, in the eyes of the law, Saul is Jorge DeGuzman’s lawyer. Not Eduardo Salamanca’s. I feel like Jimmy is a savvy enough lawyer to not verbally acknowledge the fact he’s working for a notorious member of the Mexican cartel in a public joint.
It's impossible to prove he knew who Lalo was while representing him. He could always claim he only figured it out after Lalo was bailed out. Or that he was made to represent him under durres (actually true). Likely the same defense if they came after him he literally called him Lalo in front of the prosecuter.
BTBFC on the wall.
Before The Big Constitution....
Why is the channel logo red and yellow rather than green for breaking bad and yellow for better call Saul?
How did Saul get his office?
He was in the nail salon for a few years. Towards the end of BCS he gets the office we see in breaking bad
Sal Gon Sandwich anymore notice it?
that's Sai gon. Sai gon is the biggest city in Vietnam and the nail spa own by Vietnamses lady also
lalo & Saul have such an interesting business deal going on… when he says “Salamanca’s guy” Saul kind of flinches… even tho saul is always scheming he is still trying to be good in his own way… I don’t think lalo is evil, but he is sort of saul’s introduction to the Real “criminal underworld” 💰🧐
What? Lalo is absolutely evil, he murders an innocent civilian without flinching. Lalo is a charismatic psychopath
yo what the heckerino is this show lmaoooo ahhaha xD
