Must have passed in opposite directions! Our last day on way vack from Croatia.
Going to Dunkirk and then heading south is the way to Luxembourg aviiding both tolls and the Brussels ring.
Luxembourg surprises a lot of people. My good lady couldn't believe how beautiful it is. It's also really cheap for fuel. Fill up there if you can!
    Ride safe 👍

What a trip, I hope you had a brilliant adventure! This is an excellent point regarding tolls and very useful for others.

The things I like most about Freddie's documentaries are, the sense for adventure and that he is just a normal bloke, living within his means.
Unlike some UA-camrs, Freddie is quite prepared to stay in a budget hotel or chalet with barebone facilities.
At the end of the day, it's all about Freddie, Monika and the Triumph heading out to who knows where on a budget. I love that.

Great to see you putting the Triumph to good use after all of Joe’s hard work 😊 (PS if you can check out the roads in the Ardennes area of Belgium, went there last year and the roads are amazing and only a few hours from the ferry)

    Good morning Freddie.
A budget hotel or AirBnB is always better than camping. I've done both but would never go back to camping. As long as the accommodation is dry, warm and safe, it's a no brainer. Say goodbye to putting up your tent, packing it away (probably wet) and trips to the toilet block at 3a.m!!

First video of yours I stumbled upon was a review of some Royal Enfield bike(thanks to UA-cam suggestions). Then i saw a couple more vids just to see what else is on the channel, and just like that I got hooked. Yours is probably the best biker lifestyle channel on UA-cam. No loud background music, no unnecessary speeding or revving or any other dumb shit that gets young impressionable riders hurt or killed. I have to say, it is borderline therapeutic to watch.

While watching you this morning, my wife said "How does he manage to get dressed in the morning?". I laughed because I'm betting Monika thinks the same!
If you're coming to Luxemburg, go to Esch-sur-Sûre. Lovely town with good roads all around.
Get up early though, as you'll need to make sure you've got your socks on the right way round; as my wife says 😂

I agree camping in the UK is really expensive, especially when you consider what you get for that £30ish. Often very basic facilities, sometimes none at all, it’s just a field. Yet compared to campsites in France where €20 gets you a pitch and loads of facilities like showers, toilets, washing up, bars and restaurants, BBQ’s and fire pits.

Enjoy your trip to Belgium Freddie, but it would be nice to see you having a lovely holiday break in the UK now that the weather is much better. One of the great British biking routes would be sublime - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District doing a few of the passes would make great visual entertainment show casing the lush greenery of the English countryside. Time to get the camping equipment out again... 😁😁😁

Great road trip, yes they are addictive, and travelling light is so freeing. It's great to just get off and don't plan the return which restricts your thoughts. However, may I suggest getting Monika to do your bookings 😂

Hi Freddie, if you think that's good value try Bosnia. 16 Euro for perfectly good overnight stop in Bihac. At the 'Holiday In' Bihac, yes that's how it's spelt. Chap on reception even carried my Panniers to my room. Great spot by river.

Careful Freddie, in France you need to use CE approved gloves and also carry in your luggage a reflective vest, or you'll face a fine! Enjoy your trip and thank you for sharing!

Freddie, probably cheaper to have booked another hotel where you actually wanted to stay, binned the Antwerp one and taken the loss. Took my Triumph out yesterday and dug out my old Triumph Brando jacket-they look cool and are practical too-that is , if it ain't teeming down or roasting hot!

I'm really impressed with the work that Joe has done on that bike, he must have even turned it into a time machine !!, you said you had 1 hour and 20 mins to get to dover and catch your ferry and yet you got there in time to catch the ferry 1 hour earlier than the one you booked !! 🤣🤣. Brilliant 👍

Hi Freddie, isn't it better to use a crash gaurd to not damage the tank or engine in case of any fall ? I see that you don't use any, any reason ?
