As a Spaniard, hearing someone call an Spanish omelette, an egg and potatoe tart is hard hahaha. I hope you have a wonderful stay in Spain :)
Hahaha, yeah, and to say that Tortilla de Patata is "popular" is the world's greatest understatement.
Just like a lemon 🍋curd tart 😂
😂😂
his butchered pronunciation of caceres shouldve pissed ye off surely
Best Sunday morning viewing with a cup of coffee, better than any dribble on the TV, Ist class Freddie 👍😊 ride safe
Thanks so much Stew🙌🏻
In a world seemingly full of Adventure bikes you do this on a very simple and relatively old Bonnie, I love that. Looking forward to the next episode.
Keep it simple man. 😎
No better way to start my birthday with a fresh video from Freddie. 🎉
Happy b'day 🎉
Happy birthday Kevin, have a great day!🕺🎉🎉🍾
Happy Birthday, Kevin.🎉
Will it be new bike day?
@@daveanderson70not yet but the A2 license is no longer needed and i can join the big bikes. So the search to the next bike can begin 🎉
@@FreddieDobbs Thank you! 🎉
What an awesome video…the quality, the editing, the content, it just keeps getting better. Stay safe and have a great trip 👍🇬🇧
Thanks so much Alan🙂
Big Hi from Australia Freddie! Love your videos mate. Just beautiful quality and your doing what many just dream of! Take care over there in Spain on the Bonnie.. Awesome. Cheers Nik
Love travelling simple! Just a couple of bags and a sleeper!
The Himalayan is a good bike to travel on ( providing you're not in a hurry ) Also, great MPG. Last 2 years, I've been to Europe on my Himalayan. 2021, I went through France and down to the south of Spain, coming back by ferry from Santander. 2022, took the channel tunnel, then rode down to Croatia through several countries, and through The Alps and The Dolomites. Both trips I rode the back roads, absolutely no toll roads, partly because I wanted to see the countryside, and partly because the Himalayan doesn't really like motorway speeds.
Next month, I'm off around Ireland on my C125 Super Cub from South Bucks, so once again will be keeping to the back roads. Planning on taking a coastal route clockwise. It'll be around 1800 - 2000 miles door to door, I think.
Looking forward to seeing how your trip goes, Freddie, as I'm planning on going to Africa next year.
Sorry to see that you were seasick. Never had it myself, but, then again, always had a very smooth crossing.
Fantastic Jeff, back roads are very interesting, don't forget your raincoat going to Ireland 😊
@@mikerider58 Yes. Not a drop of rain on both of those previous trips, but I think this year might be a little different.
the irish sea to the isle of man can be rough but other times very smooth .
@@johnbellamy6449 Hope it's a smooth crossing for me. Not looking forward to a rough crossing, and then finding out that I do suffer from seasickness. I'm going from Fishguard to Rosslare, so not too long a crossing and, hopefully it will be smooth in June. 🤞
Wow! Excellent! Freddie at his best ‼️‼️‼️👏💪👍
Looks a fantastic adventure, best of luck. Just an aside my wife thought the book you were reading was titled “swinging in Bali” until I pointed out it was “snowing in Bali” for a few moments her opinion of you hit rock bottom 😂
🤣🤣I don’t blame her one bit!
Second time watching this playlist, such a good adventure
Love the Citroen Ami Super on the ferry....Sea sickness tablets are the only answer on long rough ferry journeys.
Thank you so much for sharing this, I love riding along with you this way, I mean the camera position on the road ahead!
Ohh Freddie, the Spanish are having you on! They obviously know how popular you are in the world 😂😂😂 Fabulous experience & appreciate your own efforts in filming! Monika could very well be out of a job😉 So glad you’ll be catching up with her on your return trip 🤙⭐️
Superbly edited great filming.A joy as always 😊
Exactly my thoughts Steve (on both points😆)
Thanks Richard🙂 I hope Tenerife’s treating you well
@@FreddieDobbs currently in Vilnius 👍
Good to see you out and riding the Bonneville again! Really, this is the content I enjoy the most!
BMW RS - Great sports tourer. FUN!
When I see the shot like at the small pond thing, I can’t help but think of the set up.
You rode past but notice this cool location, so turn around and ride in. Get off, kit off. It’s hot. You unpack your camera and tripod, find a spot and set up. You put your kit back on. Press record. You walk back to the bike. Get on. Get back off. Helmet off, jacket off, do your bit. Finish your bit, have an actual break while packing the camera away, get kitted up, ride away. The dedication is real, haha.
Can't wait to get my first bike this week and go from Munich to the South of France to visit my dad
What an incredible excuse for a dream road trip!
@@FreddieDobbs you were one of the persons that made me fall in love with the Bonneville. Lets see how the trip is gonna be XD
Ride safe, thank you for a great video n 😊 green tea 🍵
As always nice and relaxing video. 😊
Nice update. Thanks. Can’t believe how quiet those roads were. 👍😀
Fabulous content Freddie!
Your journey must be taking so much longer with all the ride-by shots you're adding! Thanks for the effort - they add so much more to the video.
Keep safe 👍🏾👍🏾
Hey Freddie, love the video. Just want to say thanks for all of these, I did some motorbike camping trips around East Anglia and Wales with my hammock after covid and your videos in Tenerife inspired me to go out there and do something very similar. Came back from my most recent trip where I rented a Tracer 700 last week and even managed to fit a couple of days on La Gomera which is a paradise for riding (not so much for hammock camping because you can't get above the clouds, had to sleep on the floor one night). Always appreciate the videos!
Freddie, excellent! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Yes.. When you travel for a living, eating at home and sleeping in your own bed is where it’s at!
of all those bikes heading for the ferry Freddie, yours is the one i would take. having owned one.
Great video as always, makes me want to explore
This trip sounds wonderful. I wish you all the best and a safe ride. Enjoy it.
Love to see you riding that Triumph and can’t wait to follow you on the whole trip. Safe travels Freddie!
Another awesome video. Thank you for sharing your great adventure.
Great vlog and videoing, thanks for all the effort!. That Bay of Biscay heading into Santander got me also when I was a young lad!.
Looks like a plan laid out to perfection. Great stuff my friend!
Loving this, a certain touch of the Withnail about your mannerisms...
Great stuff, great effort - looking forward to this one. Thanks for taking us along 👍😎
I'm so glad I found your channel, there's no other other channel quite like yours. I always look forward to your videos. Happy travels!
I'm loving your video. I liked it that you showed the other bikes and that there's people who take long road trips on scooters.
A great start to the epic trip. Loved the ferry review. Can’t wait for more.
Have a safe and enjoyable trip Freddie👍👍
been looking out for this one Freddie and enjoyed it over breakifast at 8 am this morning . you are my favourite blogger if thats what its called . you show every interesting part ,not just the riding . well done and will look out for your next part . best wishes .
Looks like your gonna have an amazing trip 😊.
Enjoy and ride safe 😊
Superb, top quality travel blog. Really loved it. Safe onward travels. Thank you.
Thanks for this very nice vlog. I am not a rider, but truly find every one of your videos interesting. You have a way of speaking that injects tension and excitement into everything you say-a rare talent indeed-so it’s fun to watch you, whether you’re excited about a bike, a scenic view, or a piece of cake. Thanks also for all the inspiring videos during your Tenerife stay. Living in Canada, it is a long and expensive trip for us but my wife and I decided we needed to check the island out based on your many lovely videos. We were not disappointed!
Sorry you got sea sick Freddie! Thanks for sharing this is very interesting!! I always enjoy your videos
Great to see you back on tour Freddy .
thanks, so good video, waiting for next one
Thank you for sharing Freddy .
Have a good trip look forward to seeing the trip 👍
Love your spirit of adventure! Looking forward to the next update. Safe riding.
I have to say I love all the personal notes you are adding to the videos. I feel like i know you even tho I dont! stay safe
Lovely editing Freddie. And nice to see different views from your cameras. Very interesting trip, i will be watching as soon as the next one comes out. Safe travels
It was interesting to look around the ferry! Big adventure begins! Good luck❤
Have used the Plymouth - Santander 24hr crossing a couple of times for Pyrenees trips. Great crossing. Relax and breathe!
Good luck Mate! Stay safe!
Oh heck yes! Looking forward to putting these in a playlist to binge when having a relax day 👍👌🤜
Freddie fantastic trip. Enjoyed every minute. Those little cakes just can’t stop. Cheers John from Gold Coast Australia
Brilliant! I'm really looking forward to this series. Have a GREAT trip! 🙂
You are doing a great job, your videos are very interesting. Thanks 🔥❤️🔥😎👌
Always good to see your road trips Freddie. Well edited and filmed. Keep it up!
It's the music. Love your content Freddie. I can't really get in to any other MC travel stuff anymore and I think your choice of music is to blame. The 1st piece used here for the ferry boarding captures that dreamy deeply satisfied feeling one gets when embarking on a new adventure. Kudos man.
Salamanca is a beautiful town, well worth a days stop Freddie.
Good luck on your trip 👍
A great start Freddie. I read Snowing in Bali about 5 years ago and still have it on my shelves. It is a good read.
A very enjoyable and well made travelogue.
What a journey! Always enjoying these videos! I'm currently getting my motorbike drivers liscense and these vlogs just make me want to start traveling on my bike as soon as I get my hands on my own, keep it up and cheers from germany!
No pot holes , little or no traffic , clean and well kept, looks great !
So good to hear from you again Freddie. I hope you have a good time in my adopted country Spain. Have a good trip!
Nice one Freddie bet it was nice getting off that boat and onto dry land…..worst feeling sea sickness! Looking forward to the next instalment.👍👌
Thanks Freddie for a terrific video you do go to some really interesting places I would love to do a trip like that one day motorcycle down to Morocco Brilliant look forward to watching your adventure.
I'm pleased you showed the ferry and route; I'll be following in your tracks in 6 months to a year, except we'll have to do it in a hired van with all our stuff, and motorbike onboard. Looking forward to part 2 👍🏼👍🏼
This is great, nice to meet you. If you feel sea sick fresh air and look at the horizon it levels you out as it obvs doesn’t move 😊
What an epic journey !
Good luck with your trip 😊
this is why i love watching your content. I just don't just get to enjoy the ride. I get stories and history, and experience. Sending the little support I can, all the way here from the Philippines.
Very excited for you and for me and other subs. This is relevant to Uk bikers and being English. Have driven to Algeciras several times and often see most varied type of vehicles obviously headed for Morocco. 2cv renault 4s raid to Morocco, vintage cars, motorcycles. Fascinating. I used to stay with friends in Caceres. U shud see it at xmas. Beautifully preserved piece of history
Looking forward to the next episode. Have fun and stay safe 👍
Superb video! Great to see you enjoying my adopted country. Arrived in 1983 and been based in Madrid ever since. Cáceres is a great little city. Enjoy the rest of the ride south to the desert!
Great effort - well done
cant wait to see your journey, i know it's gonna be a brilliant series..ride safe and have fun Freddie 👍😁
A small group of us from Canada are riding the Picos area of Spain for a few more days. Enjoy your ride.
My wife and I both ride and plan on retiring to Europe. We love living vicariously through your and Monika's adventures. Thank you for sharing your life and the seriously superb videos.
Have a great journey 🤙🏻
Amazing qualities to your videos. I have the same exact bike, I feel like my bike is on an adventure with you.
Brilliant video Freddie, I don’t know how you have the confidence to do some of the things you do but you’re inspirational. Having watched all the big UA-cam vloggers I can honestly say you’re the best.
Impresiona la belleza de esa tierra, gracias
looking forward to this one 😎🏍️
One of the very best videos on motorcycling I have watched.
Great step by step travelogue. Given me some confidence to do do the same. Have been procrastinating about doing it solo….especially as I’m back to motorcycling after a 34 year gap!
Really enjoying this journey Freddie; making me jealous! Love your Bonneville! Wish I can get my Speedmaster over to Europe from Asia, but that's not going to happen, so I'm on this trip with you vicariously! Looking forward to watching the next chapter...
I find this video as one of the best of yours, absolutely amazing. And You drove for a so long road in one day, unbelievable, I should be tired with the half of kilometres. That joke with the barman about "the verde por favor" in Spanish language and then "ah, green tea?" has no price.
Wow, great storytelling! really like your map work at the start of the vid. Hi from Seattle
love the journey..
Last year we went from Dorset to the nordkapp on a Himalayan and my partner on her enfield classic 500, no problem the nice pace added to the trip as we could enjoy the views, we stuck to the smaller roads, an excellent trip. Have a great trip Freddie.
delightful video :) I'm very much enjoying the trip down to Morocco as well
great video. great content. great bikes. great views. great everything. propz from portugal
Wonderful video as always Freddie. Really enjoyed the cooking timelapse at the end. You've inspired me to start riding and now I need to go wake up my '04 Triumph Sprint RS!
Nice journey! Good luck and best wishes from Germany 👍
Wow what an epic trip that will be. Can't wait to see more riding as you get further south!
Thanks Jesse- it’s getting wilder the further south I get🙂🤘🏼
Great vid Freddie looking forward to watching the next … 👊
Quality content as always Freddie, cant wait to see part 2 . stay safe
Absolutely love what you are doing! Just starting riding again after 20 years and have an itch that needs scratching to travel from Perth Australia to Galway Ireland. Lots of prep required and saving over next several years, bloody awesome Bike too you have 👍😎
Spain looks lovely, enjoyed this video.
I think it must be my favourite country to ride in… although Morocco’s becoming a very genuine contender too now🤘🏼
