Hi just watched 14 episodes in one night. Absolutely brilliant to watch and you must be proud of your achievement. Martha your a star for your riding skills and Mitch for helping you. Safe travels. Once again well done 😊.
Finland, Sweden, Norway, my favourite places on earth will be explored by you two visiting the wilderness, lakes, forests and isolated dirt roads that the North has to offer. Everything while camping. This is going to be epic I am so excited!!! 💙🙌
I use two big dry bags. Pack up my tent bedroom separately and bag it all in the tent. Then load the bike then drop the outer and pack that last. Cant wait to see more adventures
Great video !! My tip is pick up a tarp and pole set on your trip gives you a dry place to sit outside the tent and if you put it up first a dry area to unpack / pack up !
You will love it, for sure. I did a 19hr ride from Odense in Denmark to Northamptonshire so I feel your pain with the rain etc. I would have still taken the jet boil, just for random coffee breaks. Enjoy
You're a great couple on a fantastic adventure! Martha your riding is fantastic, I can't believe that you've only been riding such a short time! - so much more difficult with a fully loaded bike ! Keep up the good work and enjoy.
Awesome camp gear choices! I'm so glad you decided on the double sleeping bag and 3 person tent. That extra space is totally worth it! And, I think body heat will help keep you warmer than those single sleeping bags. It's great to see you both again!
I have missed you two. Been quite ill but better now. I am going to binge watch your motorbike/camping adventures. I am only 5 minutes in and you have me laughing!
Hi a tip from an old swed biker. Your kitchen gear put it into a garbidge bin when you come to sweden. Go into a sport shop and buy a reel Trangia kitchen with coffepot, because you have handel of aluminium and two pans one fryingpan burner and buy a flask of aluminium for spirit often one liter and flameproof. you will got so much better equipment because you cant cock in thouse plastic jars and your kichen dont work on open fire as an alternative. Hope you dont take this as an insult thats not the mening but i know how irritating it can bee out in the woods when the gear dont work. Mvh.KJ
Hi, Yes im an old officer in pension now . But the swedich army used these to their soldiers that was placed in upper sweden and the mountins and that was a lot, and if it was good for them it will bee good for you or me. Now i cant ride a bike im in a wheelchair sooo. Its not fun when you hungry weiting for camping and such things fails, than you can lost your mood very easey. its the same with the tent things, the pinns you drive in the soil to hold the tent brakes because there was a stone, toss them and buy hardend aluminium pinns.Dont weigh much either. Look at your toriginal tools ?are they so good that you can do a repair deep in the woods, nja? throu the screwdrivers and buy good ones. that is my tipp. Your mood will bee better and your lady happier. Mvh.KJ
Two must have items for me would be a small food prep knife (around 5 inches or larger) with a sheath and really thin flexible cutting board. They don’t have to be expensive. You might be able to find these items at a kitchen supply store. I’ve tried using a wave for doing food prep…not too fun. The blade is small and is harder to get clean if the food ends up getting into the rest of the multitool as your slicing. If I could recommend, cook away from your tent. I don’t know how bad the bears will get on your journey, but in Canada I do my best to minimize food smells in the tent that could attract bears. If bears won’t be a problem, make sure to open both sides of your vestibule to get some air flow to reduce the amount of combustion by-products you’re breathing in. You can run the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning by cooking inside a poorly ventilated or closed up tent. I loved the video! Keep up the great work and good luck!
I've just found your channel this morning, purely through the algorithm. Great first watch! (I subbed and liked for the sink 😉) Looking forward to watching more of your content.
The journey is the adventure, as you say, appreciate that there will be highs and lows and live it 🎉 Glad you're back guys! Look forward to the series 😊
You asked what I would say is a must on a trip like yours....I would say LoneRider Tents to keep the bikes out of the rain overnight. You can pack up in the dry mainly
A little bit of comfort goes a long way. Take a look at the lone rider tent. It’s so worth the extra money for the space. Remember, to be able to pack the bikes while a bike is pulled into the tent is amazing. 😊
I have realized that if you have the visor open in the rain, if just for seconds and you get some drips or splatter on the inside, it's almost hopeless to get rid of it after that. If you instead have the visor closed and not let it be open even while not have started riding or standing still in general, you will have perfect vision all the ride! In other words - if the visor/pinlock gets wet there's no other way than drying it in room temperature. According to my experience it's not enough to wipe it dry, it has to be completely dry from any small moist.
Actually a little late to write since you already are home now, but I wanted to point out that every supermarket in Norway also are closed on Sundays. They might have one out of five grocery stores open, but then with a special entrance and just a super small part of the shop. In Sweden on the other hand all grocery stores are open and all supermarkets are open until 10 or 11 PM even on Sundays.
Just started watching and stoked to see how the journey unfolds. I'm trying to get my partner to start riding with me so im happy to see a couple starting thair adventure together 😊
bike travel is very difficult but the places you can go makes up for the miserable times. i can see that you guys were tested on the trip, hats off to ya
I have to give you credit. You’re learning as you go but the fact you pushed on for 14 hours is certainly respectable. My theory on things like this is to see what the professionals (Itchy Boots) do and copy them exactly. Also, never drink toilet water no matter what dogs say!
What a great video, i wish you two all the best 👍 keep safe,i will be following you now i found your site, and watching more of your video that is for sure .love it.
Great to have you guys back . So jealous of your adventure and looking forward to each episode. Please please don’t carry on using the MSR inside your tent, tempting though it is . Safe riding.
Yay, my favorite Mitch and Martha are back with a banger or a first episode! Can barely wait a week for next episode. You guys rock, such edit, scenes and lovely banter as usual
I came across your van series, while looking into buying a van, and became totally hooked! Your content and editing are superb, so I’m really looking forward to your Scandinavian adventures. Ride safe both, and please keep the vids coming!!👍🏻👍🏻
Hi guy’s 👋, it’s great to see you back 🎉 really enjoyed your first vlog and looking for to seeing the rest of your travel , you are so adventurous we love it 😊.
Less than 2 minutes in and we are on the edge of our seats, SO beyond excited for this series!! Amazing editing already, love you both and can feel this is gonna be something special 😍😍 xx
A good video guys I was wondering where you had gone. Looking forward to watching the next one and your travels Martha is beautiful Mitch you’re lucky chap ❤
Nice video :) I actually met you, outside a little shop in Finnmark, just north of Alta :) Gave you a thumbs up, was in a hurry or else i would have stopped to chat with you :) Looking forward to the rest of the series :)
The one essential i would take is the same thing Mitch did,an awesome woman to share it with. You're a lovely couple, looking forward to seeing your travels
good night Martha and Mitch i love watching your videos on your UA-cam channel I hope you are all well and enjoying your adventure aboard please keep up your youtube channel p.lease keep safe and warm
@@TheJammyGits we are waiting for more content also! I think next summer I will do the same trip, just waiting for the new KTM adventure 390 to come out LOL
Hmmm one must have (luxury item)… probably a proper smallish kitchen knife and cutting board. We’ve been traveling in Latin America for a little over two years and we use those multiple times per day. My wife would say without hesitation that her must have is her PeeStyle 😅
Great to see you back travelling again and well done for an epic but horrible journey north. A decent pillow would be my necessity! And please please please don’t light your stove inside the tent again, I almost couldn’t watch🫣
Honda CRF300L Rally is a fantastic choice for your first bike, especially doing the sort of riding you are undertaking. I have a Honda CMX500 Rebel and a Honda CRF300L Rally. One for on the road cruising and the other for adventures. Both amazing bikes and built like tanks. On a side note, mitch has an uncanny resemblance to Jackson Avery from Grey's Anatomy 😂
Finnlines ferries are norm.good allways between Helsinki-Travemunde. It is not cheap but it is good way to travel and sleep and eat without weather mixture...
We learnt about Sunday closing very early in our French camping career , we always carry pasta and a jar of tomato sauce for the first day 😃 Love the petrol stoves but they behave like incendiary devices 🤣 And don’t forget , what doesn’t kill you , makes you stronger 😃🍻
Hi just watched 14 episodes in one night. Absolutely brilliant to watch and you must be proud of your achievement. Martha your a star for your riding skills and Mitch for helping you. Safe travels. Once again well done 😊.
Nice to see the pair of you back on our screens
Thank you😃
The cabin on any long ferry , day or night , is a must have item 😺
+ book a meal package also, it's included 3 meals, worth every penny 👍
Finland, Sweden, Norway, my favourite places on earth will be explored by you two visiting the wilderness, lakes, forests and isolated dirt roads that the North has to offer. Everything while camping. This is going to be epic I am so excited!!! 💙🙌

Excellent watch and well done to Martha for going from zero on a bike to now riding north on epic journey. ❤ it
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Great video !! My tip is pick up a tarp and pole set on your trip gives you a dry place to sit outside the tent and if you put it up first a dry area to unpack / pack up !
It just shows you don't need adventure bikes to do this stuff. And for 1 brand new rider and one with some experience you guys have done amazing. !
So true! Thank you 😃
That’s some mileage, km, in those conditions. Thanks for taking up along. All the best for your travels 👍😎
I require 4 wheels. Be careful please.
Thank you! 👍
You guys are super cute 😊 you guys are really blessed to share the same passion and do this together it’s an amazing experience enjoy guys ❤️
Amazing for your video of 10,000km Motorcycle Adventure To The Arctic Circle. Very good of your driving. I love your video and Thanks for sharing.
You will love it, for sure. I did a 19hr ride from Odense in Denmark to Northamptonshire so I feel your pain with the rain etc.
I would have still taken the jet boil, just for random coffee breaks.

You asked what I would say is a must on a trip like yours....I would say LoneRider Tents to keep the bikes out of the rain overnight. You can pack up in the dry mainly
We looked into the Lone Rider tents but the pack up was just too big for us to justify carrying, hence the bike covers
So glad you’re back, looking forward to the series. Sunday night must watch !
Yay! Thank you!
Nice to see your faces again guys safe journeys
