Went to see my brother yesterday and sang this song to him. The Alzheimer's has taken a lot from him but I got to hear that old laugh and got an "Oh yeah!" out of him. For a few seconds I had my big brother back.
no one can know if and when this terrible disease will strike him. it can happen to anyone. but if you've met him, then a loving brother like you is a gift from God!
My grandfather passed away November in 2019 at McLeod Hospital in Florence SC. He was surrounded by his wife children and me one of his 19 grandchildren. We played this song and Jesus came and took him by the hand when this song was playing at the very end of the song last beat he looked up and know he was in heaven. What a mighty God we serve.
My father passed away in October of 2019. He'd been struggling for a few hours, and I asked my mom what she did every morning while she got him ready. She said, "Alexa, play southern gospel." This was the third song that played, and he passed away as it was playing.
I'm the temporary song leader in my church, so these are the songs that we sing. Songs of conviction, preparation, and love for your fellow man. We had better learn to get along now, because we're going to be spending a whole lot of time together here just shortly.
I was saved at church Sunday..... it felt so amazing with tears running down my face and laughing at the same time. Life has been so hard my entire life and I feel so alone with my mom gone, grandmother, aunt, uncle, etc I felt like I had no one but I have Jesus!! But I'll admit the devil has been coming for me left and right since I walked out of that church Sunday and I just dont want to fail the Lord! I don't want to allow my anger to take over anymore.... I'm trying my best. I'm about to lose my home and cant find anyone to hire me but I've been looking and applying everywhere. It's just rough! But I know the lord will provide and guide me in the right direction. Just pray for me if you see this and God bless you all. ❤ this song has been stuck in my head, so I had to look for it and this was just beautiful.
Welcome to the flock! I will gladly pray for you! God will give you the strength to get through this tough time. When I look back over the hard times in my life, I realize that it was during those times that I was closest to God, and I can look back now and see God's hand working to build my faith. Hang in there and don't let Satan win. God bless!
Jesus told us to say “let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich”. I believe as you speak those words He told us to say, your circumstance will begin to change. Be sure to let us know how you are doing.
This was my Middle Brother 's , one of his Main Funeral Songs...He Loved the Lord. Suffered with Cancer for 3 yrs. I miss him so. But know will all be together one Day Again...🙏🏼✝️👩🌾
My Dad would be 95 yrs old today. Missing him so much. He passed away in 2016. I grew up listening to bluegrass. My family is from Eastern KY. I love and my grandbabies. I pray for each of them. My husband and I are empty nesters I guess they call it. Praise God! Jesus is king

It will be such a glorious day when we see our Lord & remain with him forever. What we are going through now won't even be a memory. My mom started off in this song as my family stood circled over my grandmas grave this past year. One of the toughest but most beautiful moments I'll ever have on this Earth. RIP Grandma 🙏
I remember singing this wonderful song at a camp meeting in Yorkshire. There were about a thousand of us singing it and we were all rejoicing until the preacher stood up and said, "For some of us!" He then went on to preach an excellent sermon on the vital necessity of sharing the gospel. It was partially through that sermon that I became a missionary. Not all sermons need to make us feel good. Some of the best make us feel bad as they cause us to face up to reality.
That glorious day is drawing near!! This world is on a fast track to coming to an end now! Praise the Lord I will enjoy your company the day He calls us all home!
What a wonderful tribute to our Heavenly Father from this precious group!! Ain't it a beautiful thing? Glory to God in the highest, and to those who have accepted Jesus into their lives, we will rejoice and give praise to our Lord and Saviour forever and ever. It don't hardly get no better than that!!!! Amen! I love that lovely lady playing bass on the upright bass guitar. It's a thing of beauty and thoroughly amazing!!!
I discovered this video today on UA-cam. I absolutely love it and these very talented young singers. They are certainly using their God given talents to perform this song in God's praise. May they go far in life.

My father passed away in February this was his favorite song. He was a baptist preacher for 57 years we sang this song every Sunday morning before we started Sunday school. You are truly a blessing to listen to God has richly blessed you with talent. I miss Daddy daily but I know he's singing this song as he strolls down streets of gold. God bless you.
Went to see my brother yesterday and sang this song to him. The Alzheimer's has taken a lot from him but I got to hear that old laugh and got an "Oh yeah!" out of him. For a few seconds I had my big brother back.

God bless you sisters. I listen to this song over and over again
This made me think of my parents. I miss them, but I know they are in paradise. This is a wonderful rendition of this song.
my favorite song of all time
Beautiful! Great power and Blessings in the old hyms. 🕊❤👍
I discovered this video today on UA-cam. I absolutely love it and these very talented young singers. They are certainly using their God given talents to perform this song in God's praise. May they go far in life.
Lyrics :
There is coming a day,
When no heart aches shall come,
No more clouds in the sky,
No more tears to dim the eye,
All is peace forever more,
On that happy golden shore,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
There'll be no sorrow there,
No more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no more pain,
No more parting over there;
And forever I will be,
With the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
I'm so sorry, but It sounds like he left a wonderful legacy. Thank you so much
