As I try to sleep after being told my dad only has 2 days to live, I find myself listening to this song and finding peace in knowing that he knows Jesus. What a day that will be when he meets Jesus face to face. After many years of fighting dementia, he will be in his right mind and he will know exactly where he is. What a glorious day indeed!
@laurabrown806 we just held the funeral yesterday. I learned this version on guitar and played. It was an honor knowing that, as I sang, the reality of the song was so true for him. Dementia is no longer a thing for them as their minds are clear once again!

But I found one day a new light a brighter future in Gods hands. It is times like these we face today that we take a stand and find a Power, a power higher then any can give. He battled for 6 days reconciling his life, his difficult childhood which caused him the struggle of trusting that the Lord was truly waiting for him. Yesterday morning my wife played THIS for him... Quite literally, as your song played, the Lord grabbed him by the hand.. Taking him home... His loss of eyesight 3 years ago, restored, to see his Father guiding him Home... Thank you for this gift!

I remember years ago I lived in a small town and county in West Virginia . I was riding a community bus from 1 end of county to the other and bus driver picked up this woman. She was nice but a lot of people knew she was a few bricks short of a load. BUT 1 day she started singing this song surprising everyone on that bus it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop on that bus all sorts of people on the bus christian and non christian , The bus driver who was a christian didnt say a word he just let her sing and not 1 complaint even from the non christian people and what an experience it was being on that bus at that time . I wont forget it as long as I live and think of it every time I hear this song. God used that woman despite any issues she may had

I lost my Grandpa March 9 2004 @ 3:20 am and at 10:30 am the same day I found out I was pregnant. My son was born in October 2004. I see my Grandpa in my son’s face. I know my Grandpa left a pice of him in my son. So my son’s middle name is my Grandpa’s first name. God knew exactly what he was doing when he called my grandpa home and blessed me with a wonderful son. My son’s first name is my favorite book of the Bible and his name means Gift from God. My son is truly living up to the meaning of his name.
Today I attended the funeral of a man who was a member of my beloved grandmother's church (Baptist) and where my beloved mother got saved and where she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Redeemer. One of this man's caregivers sang this acapella at the graveside. We will miss you, Mr. Curtis.

In verse 2 of that passage, there is an interesting phrase: "unless you have believed in vain". What is that that isn't believed that is vain? That's why God gave us Paul to explain this dispensation of the grace of God now.
Everytime we would sing this, the entire congregation would finish, standing, arms raised high, praising Jesus. Tears streaming....thank you for posting.

My brother passed 7 weeks ago. 59. Father of 6. Husband. Brother. Son. He had covid issues and cancer. He got cancer 10 years ago. He was supposed to die from it 9 years ago. He lived and lived and worked and played and did this and that all w his limitations, 1 eye, a scooter to go long distances, etc. He was born again a year ago- then passed 7 weeks ago . I prayed for his salvation for 20 years. Alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALLELUIA!!!!!!! Oh the feeling I had I can never explain of spiritual victory on that sunny Saturday at 1252pm when they took him off the ventilator. We stood outside looking in his hospital window to be near him.we played music and a speaker the nurse put by his ear. Chris Tomlin's HOME, one of his favorites we played as he went to glory!!!!! I still cry cause sad he's not around but OH, WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY FOR MY BROTHER, CLARK!!!!! Thank Jesus for your mercy and love for my brother, Clark. Love, His Only Sister.
Great song! It seems to me with all the craziness going on we are entering end times. It does not scare me one bit. I am so thankful I turned my life over to God/Christ some years back. There is not one thing in this world more important to me than the eternal life God promises when my temporary life is over. Michele Allen’s Testimony: I was born and raised in a wonderful home. When I was 17 years old a friend of mine showed me in the Bible that “We must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I went to a Evangelical-type church and church camp. There,I felt the presence of God for the first time in my life!! It was truly amazing! I sincerely repented and cried rivers of heartfelt genuine tears of sorrow for the life I had been living. I was told that I was “born again” But for the next three years I experienced feelings of the frustration of not being able to live for God. I felt unworthy Bc I kept failing Him. I could not seem to grow in God like the Bible talked about and continued to revert back to a sinful lifestyle. I felt utterly defeated Bc I could not stay faithful to God, His Word or His commandments. I could not tell you how many times I was “born again”again at the altar of repentance. It wasn’t until I was almost 20 years old, walked into an Apostolic Church and got a Bible study that the truth of salvation began to be come to light: The gospel indeed is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ: (I Corinthians 15: 1-4). The best thing I ever learned was how to rightly divide the word of truth. The four Gospels which are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John talk about Jesus and His earthly ministry. In the book of John, Nicodemus came to Jesus in the night and Jesus told him unless a man be born again...so they talked ABOUT being born again JOHN 3:3-5 (except a man be born of the water and of the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven) but no one was actually born again anywhere in the 4 gospels. Before Calvary they were still under the law but after Calvary they are under under grace. No one could be born again until Jesus had been glorified. (John 7:37-39) This is why the thief on the cross was able to be be with Jesus in paradise. It isn’t until you get to the book of Acts, after the resurrection and when the 1st century church started on the day of Pentecost that you actually witness people being born of the water by being baptized by immersion ONLY in the name of Jesus. And where they saw and heard them be filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. So if you want to find out HOW to be born again, the Book of Acts is the only place anyone was ever actually born again. Acts 21-4,2:38,3:19,8:12-18,8:35-39,10:43-4816:30-34,18:8,19:2-6 In John 3:8 and Acts 2:33 Speaks of how you cannot see the wind but you know that it is moving because you see the branches move and you hear the wind through the leaves. And so is every man that is born of the Spirit. You cannot see the Spirit if God (John 4:24) but when it enters a man you can see the tongue move and you can hear the utterance of them speaking as the Spirit gives the utterance. Whenever God gave a promise he always gave the sign to that promise. In the old testament he made a covenant promise with Noah He would never flood the earth with water again and the sign to the promise was the rainbow. Then God made a promise covenant to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations and the sign of that promise covenant was circumcision. In the new testament God promises us the Holy Ghost and tells the disciples to tarry in the upper room for the promise Bc since Jesus can no longer get be with us He now wants to reside in us. The promise is the Holy Ghost and that sign to that covenant promise is tongues. In James 5 it says that the tongue is the most unruly member of the body. When God has control of our tongue it shows we have submitted our entire being to Him. The Holy Ghost and Fire/Tongues of Fire. The evidence of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues. (Matt 3:11-12, Luke 3:17-18, Acts2:1-4) He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. Receiving it will keep you out of the eternal flames of Fire! 🔥 Then the Epistles are from Romans to Jude. They are letters written to the churches of Saints that have already been born again...Letters written to born-again believers that have already received the Acts 2:38 message. In some places in Acts and even in the epistles it says to just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Well, believe what? The Gospel! What is the Gospel? I Corinthians 15:1-4 t 1. death, 2. burial, and 3. resurrection of Jesus Christ. How do we OBEY (action word) the Gospel? 1. repentance (death to self), 2. baptism in Jesus name (burial) and 3. receiving the Holy Ghost (Resurrection) with the evidence of speaking in tongues in Acts 2:38-39 and John 3:3-8. The Death, Burial and Resurrection/Repentance, Baptism and Receive the Holy Ghost theme is thread throughout the entire Bible. In Exodus when the children of Israel were in Egyptian bondage God told Moses to tell them to strike blood of a spotless lamb door post of the HOUSE 🏡 THREE (3) times and then the death Angel would pass over them and the firstborn in their house would not die. It’s the same for us: When we 1. repent 2. Get baptized 3. Receive Holy Ghost The blood 🩸 of Jesus is applied to us each time Bc in Ephesians 2:22, I Corinthians 3:16 and Romans 8:9-11 it says that we are the house of God when He comes to live inside of us. In Leviticus when the Priest went into the TABERNACLE/TEMPLE to perform the ritual for the children of Israel to have their sins rolled ahead one year up till Calvary. The PRIEST applied blood on his body 3 times and he also applied blood on the 3 pieces of the furniture. The Bible says in first Peter 2:5-9 that we are royal PRIESThood . (I Corinthians 6:19) The Bible also says that our bodies are TEMPLES of the Holy Ghost. So it is the same for us: when we 1. repent 2. Get baptized 3. receive the Holy Ghost. The blood of Jesus is applied to us. Obey is an action word. We can believe all we want the light will turn on but unless we walk over and turn that light switch on the light won’t go on. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We are saved by faith and not of works lest any man should boast. I was almost 20 years old when I went down into the waters of baptism in Jesus name for the remission of my sin. When I came up out of the water I could hardly breathe because I felt like a brand new baby!! (at this moment, in a natural birth, the water, blood and baby is there but until the you hear the baby cry after taking in that first breath of air it could be still born. So you wait for the cry to know that baby is alive-so is everyone that it’s born of the Spirit) I began to speak in other tongues and could not speak English. It was the most amazing, the most powerful and the most enlightening and cleansing experience I’ve ever had in my entire life!! It wasn’t until at that moment I was truly born of water and of the Spirit. I was finally filled with the power to help me live a victorious life and to conquer many temptations that came my way. (Romans 13:14) When you are baptized you are covered or have put on Christ (Gen 3:21-God clothed or put on the coats of skins of a bloody animal to cover the sin of Adam and Eve), (Romans 6:4) you are buried with Him in baptism, (Acts 2:33, 3:19) you have your sins remitted, (Acts 4:12) you take on His name in baptism Bc the only way anyone was ever baptized was in the name of Jesus. (Matthew 28:19-The name is the Father is Jesus (John 5:43) The name of the Son is Jesus (Matthew 1:21) The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus (John 14:26) When you take on His name you become his Bride. When you speak in tongues that is the evidence of Jesus living inside of you. (Romans 8:9-16) You are then adopted and become the sons and daughters of God. The Holy Ghost is just a portion of our inheritance. If we do not have His Spirit dwelling in us we are none of His and we will not be taken in the rapture. Those three years between the ages of 17-20 I was living on a repentance experience. “ Leaving Jesus hanging there on the cross” so to speak. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:14-41, Acts 8:37-38, Acts 10:47-48). I was not obeying the command to be buried with him in the waters of baptism and I had not received the Holy Ghost So I could be resurrected to walk in newness of life. Therefore could not live an overcoming Christian life.

My 5 month old son loves this. I played it on repeat when he was sick. He would stop crying and relax, then if it would stop, he’d cry again. Now, it’s something I always play for him and it brings such joy to his face. ❤ Babies are so precious.
I’ve always loved this song and we played it at my granny’s funeral last month and now it holds a new meaning to me because she’s no longer fighting cancer she happy and healthy but I miss her so much 😢❤😭

My whole life I’ve always believed I would be alive when Jesus comes back to Rapture His Church! My days feel numbered now so that Glorious Day is coming. If I could only touch His hem on his robe I know I would be healed and have full health. This song says everything a Christian believes and through the tears of joy, this song gives me all the faith I believe but at times loses it! My wife, even though January 8th, 2025 we will be separated 3 years. It’s been bad for me! I love her and I don’t believe in divorce! I’ve chased her and she comes back but she doesn’t try for real so it never works! Anyway she has a wonderful country singing voice and I had her promise me to learn and sing this song at my funeral even though that contradicts my belief that I will be here alive when Jesus returns so you can see that my faith is not always there! But Drew Parker sings this song beautifully. I was sitting on the couch and my wife and I were arguing and we were being silent to one another and I was listening to songs on UA-cam and this song came up with me scrolling and when it started playing my wife came through and I didn’t know she was listening to it just out of my sight! When it was over and tears were running down my face she said beside me play that song again I loved it! So this became one of my favorite songs!

I lost my Grandpa March 9 2004 @ 3:20 am and at 10:30 am the same day I found out I was pregnant. My son was born in October 2004. I see my Grandpa in my son’s face. I know my Grandpa left a pice of him in my son. So my son’s middle name is my Grandpa’s first name. God knew exactly what he was doing when he called my grandpa home and blessed me with a wonderful son. My son’s first name is my favorite book of the Bible and his name means Gift from God. My son is truly living up to the meaning of his name.

Today I attended the funeral of a man who was a member of my beloved grandmother's church (Baptist) and where my beloved mother got saved and where she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Redeemer. One of this man's caregivers sang this acapella at the graveside. We will miss you, Mr. Curtis.

@Rev SJ Montague Remembering it isn't to believe but what to believe when confessing: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Paul tells us what that gospel is that saves. In verse 2 of that passage, there is an interesting phrase: "unless you have believed in vain".
What is that that isn't believed that is vain? That's why God gave us Paul to explain this dispensation of the grace of God now.

My brother passed 7 weeks ago. 59. Father of 6. Husband. Brother. Son. He had covid issues and cancer. He got cancer 10 years ago. He was supposed to die from it 9 years ago. He lived and lived and worked and played and did this and that all w his limitations, 1 eye, a scooter to go long distances, etc. He was born again a year ago- then passed 7 weeks ago . I prayed for his salvation for 20 years. Alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALLELUIA!!!!!!! Oh the feeling I had I can never explain of spiritual victory on that sunny Saturday at 1252pm when they took him off the ventilator. We stood outside looking in his hospital window to be near him.we played music and a speaker the nurse put by his ear. Chris Tomlin's HOME, one of his favorites we played as he went to glory!!!!! I still cry cause sad he's not around but OH, WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY FOR MY BROTHER, CLARK!!!!! Thank Jesus for your mercy and love for my brother, Clark. Love, His Only Sister.

Great song! It seems to me with all the craziness going on we are entering end times. It does not scare me one bit. I am so thankful I turned my life over to God/Christ some years back. There is not one thing in this world more important to me than the eternal life God promises when my temporary life is over. I was born and raised in a wonderful home. When I was 17 years old a friend of mine showed me in the Bible that “We must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I went to a Evangelical-type church and church camp. There,I felt the presence of God for the first time in my life!! It was truly amazing! I sincerely repented and cried rivers of heartfelt genuine tears of sorrow for the life I had been living. I was told that I was “born again” But for the next three years I experienced feelings of the frustration of not being able to live for God. I felt unworthy Bc I kept failing Him. I could not seem to grow in God like the Bible talked about and continued to revert back to a sinful lifestyle. I felt utterly defeated Bc I could not stay faithful to God, His Word or His commandments. I could not tell you how many times I was “born again”again at the altar of repentance.
It wasn’t until I was almost 20 years old, walked into an Apostolic Church and got a Bible study that the truth of salvation began to be come to light: The gospel indeed is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ: (I Corinthians 15: 1-4). The best thing I ever learned was how to rightly divide the word of truth. The four Gospels which are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John talk about Jesus and His earthly ministry. In the book of John, Nicodemus came to Jesus in the night and Jesus told him unless a man be born again...so they talked ABOUT being born again JOHN 3:3-5 (except a man be born of the water and of the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven) but no one was actually born again anywhere in the 4 gospels. Before Calvary they were still under the law but after Calvary they are under under grace. No one could be born again until Jesus had been glorified. (John 7:37-39) This is why the thief on the cross was able to be be with Jesus in paradise. It isn’t until you get to the book of Acts, after the resurrection and when the 1st century church started on the day of Pentecost that you actually witness people being born of the water by being baptized by immersion ONLY in the name of Jesus. And where they saw and heard them be filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. So if you want to find out HOW to be born again, the Book of Acts is the only place anyone was ever actually born again. Acts 21-4,2:38,3:19,8:12-18,8:35-39,10:43-4816:30-34,18:8,19:2-6
In John 3:8 and Acts 2:33 Speaks of how you cannot see the wind but you know that it is moving because you see the branches move and you hear the wind through the leaves. And so is every man that is born of the Spirit. You cannot see the Spirit if God (John 4:24) but when it enters a man you can see the tongue move and you can hear the utterance of them speaking as the Spirit gives the utterance.
Whenever God gave a promise he always gave the sign to that promise. In the old testament he made a covenant promise with Noah He would never flood the earth with water again and the sign to the promise was the rainbow. Then God made a promise covenant to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations and the sign of that promise covenant was circumcision. In the new testament God promises us the Holy Ghost and tells the disciples to tarry in the upper room for the promise Bc since Jesus can no longer get be with us He now wants to reside in us. The promise is the Holy Ghost and that sign to that covenant promise is tongues. In James 5 it says that the tongue is the most unruly member of the body. When God has control of our tongue it shows we have submitted our entire being to Him. The Holy Ghost and Fire/Tongues of Fire. The evidence of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues. (Matt 3:11-12, Luke 3:17-18, Acts2:1-4) He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. Receiving it will keep you out of the eternal flames of Fire! 🔥
Then the Epistles are from Romans to Jude. They are letters written to the churches of Saints that have already been born again...Letters written to born-again believers that have already received the Acts 2:38 message. In some places in Acts and even in the epistles it says to just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Well, believe what? The Gospel! What is the Gospel? I Corinthians 15:1-4 t 1. death, 2. burial, and 3. resurrection of Jesus Christ. How do we OBEY (action word) the Gospel? 1. repentance (death to self), 2. baptism in Jesus name (burial) and 3. receiving the Holy Ghost (Resurrection) with the evidence of speaking in tongues in Acts 2:38-39 and John 3:3-8.
The Death, Burial and Resurrection/Repentance, Baptism and Receive the Holy Ghost theme is thread throughout the entire Bible. In Exodus when the children of Israel were in Egyptian bondage God told Moses to tell them to strike blood of a spotless lamb door post of the HOUSE 🏡 THREE (3) times and then the death Angel would pass over them and the firstborn in their house would not die. It’s the same for us: When we 1. repent 2. Get baptized 3. Receive Holy Ghost The blood 🩸 of Jesus is applied to us each time Bc in Ephesians 2:22, I Corinthians 3:16 and Romans 8:9-11 it says that we are the house of God when He comes to live inside of us. In Leviticus when the Priest went into the TABERNACLE/TEMPLE to perform the ritual for the children of Israel to have their sins rolled ahead one year up till Calvary. The PRIEST applied blood on his body 3 times and he also applied blood on the 3 pieces of the furniture. The Bible says in first Peter 2:5-9 that we are royal PRIESThood . (I Corinthians 6:19) The Bible also says that our bodies are TEMPLES of the Holy Ghost. So it is the same for us: when we 1. repent 2. Get baptized 3. receive the Holy Ghost. The blood of Jesus is applied to us.
Obey is an action word. We can believe all we want the light will turn on but unless we walk over and turn that light switch on the light won’t go on. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We are saved by faith and not of works lest any man should boast.
I was almost 20 years old when I went down into the waters of baptism in Jesus name for the remission of my sin. When I came up out of the water I could hardly breathe because I felt like a brand new baby!! (at this moment, in a natural birth, the water, blood and baby is there but until the you hear the baby cry after taking in that first breath of air it could be still born. So you wait for the cry to know that baby is alive-so is everyone that it’s born of the Spirit) I began to speak in other tongues and could not speak English. It was the most amazing, the most powerful and the most enlightening and cleansing experience I’ve ever had in my entire life!! It wasn’t until at that moment I was truly born of water and of the Spirit. I was finally filled with the power to help me live a victorious life and to conquer many temptations that came my way. (Romans 13:14) When you are baptized you are covered or have put on Christ (Gen 3:21-God clothed or put on the coats of skins of a bloody animal to cover the sin of Adam and Eve), (Romans 6:4) you are buried with Him in baptism, (Acts 2:33, 3:19) you have your sins remitted, (Acts 4:12) you take on His name in baptism Bc the only way anyone was ever baptized was in the name of Jesus. (Matthew 28:19-The name is the Father is Jesus (John 5:43) The name of the Son is Jesus (Matthew 1:21) The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus (John 14:26) When you take on His name you become his Bride. When you speak in tongues that is the evidence of Jesus living inside of you. (Romans 8:9-16) You are then adopted and become the sons and daughters of God. The Holy Ghost is just a portion of our inheritance. If we do not have His Spirit dwelling in us we are none of His and we will not be taken in the rapture.
Those three years between the ages of 17-20 I was living on a repentance experience. “ Leaving Jesus hanging there on the cross” so to speak. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:14-41, Acts 8:37-38, Acts 10:47-48). I was not obeying the command to be buried with him in the waters of baptism and I had not received the Holy Ghost So I could be resurrected to walk in newness of life. Therefore could not live an overcoming Christian life.

My 5 month old son loves this. I played it on repeat when he was sick. He would stop crying and relax, then if it would stop, he’d cry again. Now, it’s something I always play for him and it brings such joy to his face. ❤ Babies are so precious.

My whole life I’ve always believed I would be alive when Jesus comes back to Rapture His Church! My days feel numbered now so that Glorious Day is coming. If I could only touch His hem on his robe I know I would be healed and have full health. This song says everything a Christian believes and through the tears of joy, this song gives me all the faith I believe but at times loses it! My wife, even though January 8th, 2025 we will be separated 3 years. It’s been bad for me! I love her and I don’t believe in divorce! I’ve chased her and she comes back but she doesn’t try for real so it never works! Anyway she has a wonderful country singing voice and I had her promise me to learn and sing this song at my funeral even though that contradicts my belief that I will be here alive when Jesus returns so you can see that my faith is not always there! But Drew Parker sings this song beautifully. I was sitting on the couch and my wife and I were arguing and we were being silent to one another and I was listening to songs on UA-cam and this song came up with me scrolling and when it started playing my wife came through and I didn’t know she was listening to it just out of my sight! When it was over and tears were running down my face she said beside me play that song again I loved it! So this became one of my favorite songs!
