Ohh as a patriot, i would immediately say yes to you. However Jollibee is more than that. Its part of our culture. As a child, we love to go to church cause after that.... We know where we are all going. Still stuck to my mind how their menu looks, back when jolly hotdog only cost 29 PHP. No change in color of the banners and with the mascots since.

In the begenning, jollibee's target market was children. as you can see, most of their products from yumburger to spaghetti, hotdog, icecream etc are catered for kids. they are sweet in taste because children loves sweet which is very clever because whereever children are, comes the dad and mom, plus grandma and grandpa, plus aunt or uncle or godfather or godmother and friends during birthday celebration and all end up eating the jollifoods! Fastforward, those children-now grown up, that used to eat jollibee, loves to reminisce childhood memories very dear to their hearts. so they tend to come back and savour once again the sweetness of those memories... isn't it amazing????!!!

Finally had Jollibee the other day. IMO it is better than chains like Popeyes, KFC, and Churches. Here’s why. It’s flavorful without being salty like Popeyes and churches. The flour crust isn’t too thick. The chicken still has chicken texture unlike KFC. Jollibee chicken is also good with steamed jasmine rice u make at home so I see why Asians prefer it. The gravy is OP. Glad it comes with every order as a dipping side. I hate it when there’s not enough gravy in my mashed potatoes so this solves that problem. Can’t wait to try out their other offerings.

i love the jollibee here in the uk, although one issue is that they have taken off the yumburger, burger steak and items like that at most of its branches it seems, i think in an effort to pander to more of a western audience as they have been replaced with a mcdonalds like burger. but these items are what makes jollibee so great so its a shame to see them gone. but its so great to see more filipino food arriving to the uk, even a potato corner in london!! i'd love to see a mang inasal but I think it'll be a long time till that happens.

In California, we used to drive 2.5 hours to San Jose to eat at Jollibee. Since last year, a Jollibee is now an hour’s drive from Madera to Delano. Today, we’re eagerly awaiting a store in Fresno which is 30 minutes drive away. Indeed, it has a base market of Filipinos that are always nostalgic of the Filipino (taste in )food like pancit, adobo, & Jollibee.
