- I've had my 2017 Shelby GT350 for about 2 and a half years and I thought it would be fun to go back to all the videos I've made with mine (and friends 350's) to make this exhaust sound compilation video. And yes, it's got a stock exhaust but with resonator delete. Sit back and enjoy the glorious soundtrack of a naturally aspirated 5.2L flat plane crank V8! @@juanhinojosa5372 it’s actually not! That seems to be a common misconception. Yes Ford took inspiration from the 458s engine in order to help supplement their existing knowledge, but the two engines share absolutely nothing in common aside from the very general flat plane crank style.

Currently yes, I think the 6.2 liter C63 has the best sounding V8 ever made

Any flat plane Italian v8 sounds better
@@G0ddEityawesome it is fllatplane dummy. Personally I don't find European fllatplane V8's as throaty or tough sounding as this, I thinks it's safe to say America does V8 best, especially the new Corvette motor is also flatplane and that car is destroying everything.

I didn’t think a mustang would ever sound as good as the 03-04 cobra/mach 1 until the gt350 and the fact that it sounds like this stock is amazing.
The DOHC 4.6 with an x pipe is probably my favorite sounding car ever made.

@@Unclean_Official I have a GT350. Got most of that done and more. It’s the same car with different tuning, tires, rims and aero. The 2019 even more so.
Favorite car I've ever owned. Hands down best exhaust note of any American car.
This is my favorite exhaust out of any car honestly. When you hear one in person it’s even better.

The thing I hate about the Shelby 350 is by the time you wind her out to her full potential you are braking the law real bad. Best car ever.

Eh. I mean, it's an awesome engine, and it sounds _good,_ especially for its displacement (the cross-plane V-8 layout sure helps there). Just doesn't stir my soul like the Voodoo or even a nice Chevy 350 or LS1.
I realize it's just UA-cam, but that's also what I'm comparing it to.
And I know Voodoo has a flat-plane crank, this is despite that. (I think it has unequal-length headers).
There are a few better sounding cars, but not many and most of them are ridiculously expensive

BMW used to make really good sounding engines, specially from inside the car with really good intake noise, I love the sound of the E39.
I think think that my favourite engine sound is E46 m3 with carbon intake, from inside the car at least, from the outside the exhaust is a little too raspy. Its like they made the car sound perfect for the driver and did not care for the rest of the world, and that is just awesome

The viper and the gt350 are in my opinión some of the best sounding american muscle cars.

I once got to ride in a GT350 that belonged to my uncle’s friend. He was planning to sell it cuz he never drove it, but then he changed his mind. At one point, mu uncle asked me if I wanted to rev it, I got in I revved the hell out of it. That thing sounds so fucking good. So raw. I love it

The sound from inside the car is cool. My cousin had a boss Laguna seca. The high rev sounded sweet. Until I put a btr stage 3 cam in my 13 Camaro 1le. 🤫

Kervens Metellus He did do a resonator delete just like the GT350R. So it technically is still stock since the R model comes without resonators from factory.

Nice, but sounds nearly identical to my C4 Corvette with X pipe and "off road" exhaust system. Too bad Ford took measures to mimic the sound of a traditional cross plane, fearing Mustang buyers would object to a high pitch "Ferrari" type exhaust note.
