Great info, however, the manual crank tools should be stored in an outside compartment as they are otherwise not accessible if the slide should malfunction in the closed position. I also think that draining the water when stored for more than seven days is a little excessive, but that is just my opinion, to each their own. Mine is generally full for the most of the camping season... I will drain and sanitize if I haven't used the system in more than a month in hot weather.
People will all develop their own practices right for them! We are just stating the manufacturers recommendation when draining your water. Happy Camping!
Storing the manual slide crank inside in the compartment that the slide (while in) covers is a disaster. If the slide motor fails in any position other than fully out, access to that compartment is blocked and you cannot get to the manual crank. I've taken it out of there and store it in the joey tray (outside) so I can always get to it.
Hey didn’t hear you cover the 7 way plug from the camper to the truck. Is there anything special we need? Just bought this same camper, picking it up in a week.
I am drew’s step father, I remember the day he came home with those earrings and we knew he was gay, It was a tough transition at first but we have come to love and support him in his LGBT journey
I have a 2015 Arctic Fox 811 and learned a few things watching this in spite of being a long time owner of this camper unit. Thanks…
Drew and his ever changing look!
Seriously, always informative. Thanks Drew.
He's gotta keep us guessing!
Wow, extremely informative. Can't wait to see you do something with the arctic fox 865, looking forward to that.
I also hope to see a 865
We will put it on the list!
@@RVTechToursatPrincessCraft thanks, looking forward to see that.
Great detailed walk through. Amazing how much technology is packed into such a small space.
Fantastic walkthrough
Thank you 👍
Good thural video. Would like to see how to replace/access shear pins/bolts on the jacks & slideouts. thx b
I owned my 2016 811 2 years before I realized there was a light in the rear compartment by the battery switch.
Anyone know if there’s a hidden ‘ slide out’ fuse ?Arctic Fox.

It's a standard 7-pin configuration.
What size truck? 2500 or 3500.
No auto level?
Waiting for the 890 breakdown...
As soon as we get one in we will be doing a tech tour!
Why wouldn't a $43K camper come with a water pressure regulator?
Until last September, I owned an 811 for 10+ years. I sold it an upgraded to a 992. Here's my older 811: ua-cam.com/video/gW7rKIk9hgM/v-deo.html
Now that's cool!

Dad, is that you?? When are you coming home from the store?
Single-ply toilet paper? No. We've alway used "regular' toilet paper and we've never had problems.
To each their own! We like to go by the manufacturers recommendations.
