Two trailer manufacturers we enjoy working with have customer bases that tend to venture away from RV parks and resorts. MDC-USA has an off-roading pedigree, and InTech RV owners just tend to find themselves off the asphalt and taking their activities to the gravel and dirt. So, today we'll look at these two brands to see how they stack up and how they accomplish their intended purposes. Prince...

The vast majority of lite-weight trailers we see at Princess Craft RV, whether they be for sale or in for maintenance and repair, have one of three coupler systems... even if they're also running mechanical sway control or weight distribution setups. So, what are those types of couplers? They are the ever-present ball coupler, the handy Lock-N-Roll coupler, and the Australia-made and proven Cru...

I wasn't going to open this, but glad I did! This guy was very informative. Good job! 👏
Very well done and appreciated.
It’s hard to find a 320 BDL, I have a CS-S, it has three bins across the front, no color rims over seams, but hubbie wanted rear galley. I would have preferred a bigger bed, covered seams.
Sorry but for the PRICE, No Hut with Exit Vent over the Stove? Come on, It's Not Serious! Who will clean the ceiling? Not for me! You can keep it!
I've subscribed as this is the most comprehensive review I've seen yet? Very thorough, especially for a newbie like me.
Great presentation.
How quiet is the new Truma Saphire???
Very helpful!
Best orientation video found yet!
Great walkthrough, Where is the water pump on these units?
Found it, under the bed on the right side.
Great information, TX. excellent! always good to check your lugs, daily with your hand.
Thank you - I have this trailer with BDL package. Already lost the one table lever… don’t see it on replacement parts page. This was VERY helpful since I bought it second hand!!
Very thorough thanks
Awesome. Thanks
This man does a very good job of demonstrating this unit.
Omg this video is so helpful thank you so so much. We just bought one different model but the kitchen is same and we didn’t know (neither were told ) about the gas or how to use it
If you get the Americanizer adapter from Amazon best process
Any advice for what kind of trickle charger for the battery? Any suggestions for the solar?
Thanks for the video - Helped clear up a couple things. We bought at 2023 18.6 used so never got the dealer run down
Love your thoroughness. Would be so helpful to work on not saying "you're going to...." all the time. It's soooo distracting
Thanks PJ!..we had to calibrate our 2021 320..we had a thermometer inside and compared it..reset the Alde ..all is good
Can the turnbuckles you showed at the end of the video be used on frame mounted systems. I have two spring loadeds on the front and two cushioned on the back of the camper I just bought, but I am afraid they are the wrong things for the job.
Do you have a video for the 2023 GS Envision QBS? I will be a new trailer owner and want to know more about it.
What State is headquarters for this trailer manufacturing
On jacks, can you climb into the sleeping area? How likely is it to tip over?
What’s the overall length and how much for that trailer?
Can the SAE ports at the top 4 corner be used for incoming solar or is it just outgoing 12v?
I can tell you about “Calibration” 14:32 on the Alde Panel. I was having trouble getting even heat, in my TAB 400, when it was pretty cold outside. The bed area would get really hot, but at the front, not so much. I had the temperature set for 72 but the bed area was heating up to 78!! The colder it was, outside, the hotter the bed area would get. Especially if it was windy outside. The Truma techs, who changed the glycol during UCamp, explained: The thermostat for the unit, is in the Alde control panel. With the Alde control panel, being right by the door, the cold air that seeps in through the door jam, keeps the thermostat low, causing the heat to stay on while it tries to heat that area up to 72. So, with it trying to get the heat up at the front of the TAB, the bed area would get more heat than needed. The techs showed me how to get to the screen with the Calibration setting and moved the slider down to -5. This would cause the Alde to adjust down -5 degrees making the heat even, through out the camper. And it worked!! I talked to NuCamp techs, looked through all the forums and talked to other TAB 400 owners, about my problem and no one had the solution. Most people purchased a small heater and didn’t use the Alde heat. I finally gave up and purchased a small space heater to use, also. But, I became angry, to have spent top dollar on a camper that had such a unique heating system and I couldn’t get it to work! That’s why I asked the guys changing the glycol. I figured they would know the best about the system, and they did!! I can’t wait to use my Alde heater, next week while camping in Indiana for the Covered Bridge Festival! One more thing… Alde is a Swedish system and it is correctly pronounced Ald”a” not Ald”e”. We Americans need to start pronouncing the name correctly. I learned this while talking to the techs, also. So, thank you Truma Techs! You’re the best. If anyone is having trouble adjusting for even heat in their TAB, go to the calibration screen and adjust it anywhere from -5 to +5, until you find the right number to solve your problem. In the Alda 2020 model it’s in the tools section, about 5 screens down.
You do an excellent job.
How's it do in the winter like on a frozen lake with a ice castle
My roof for my liner camper 2020 is broken 😢i need a new roof help 🙏 eny recommendations for my problem.
Couldn't find any app for the cam550 on the website
This helped me so much! I was hoping it would show the solar pre wire but I learned so much more. Thanks!
how much?
I learned so much! Thanks a ton!
Best video yet Well done 👍
I know this is an older video, but is the flooring just a sheet of linoleum, or some vinyl planks.? The definition is very dimensional looks like good flooring. Was just curious when I see wood look type flooring in RVs.
No bug screen for window ?
Super helpful!! Do you have a similar video for the 165?
Wow what an excellent review on aliner camper set up and review. Best video I've seen. This rv technician knows his stuff.
I like this one, but all I need is the table seat benches to stretch to fit at least 3 people on each side, don't need icebox
I bought the 2008 model arctic fox 990 with the slide paid $ 23,000 up then Nevada used. Me and the kids had some fun on it for a few years maybe five or six in the snowstorm it held up well but water got into the seams with the caulking and the water froze and pushed the caulking out in the front outside corners water got in either through the clearance lights and behind the plastic and formed a big level above the truck. The plastic comes down the front and loops underneath. We drilled a big hole or small hole on the side to drain the water also when I step on the roof now there is a crunchy sound as it seems like there is plywood underneath that is deteriorating due to moisture getting underneath the rubber roof coating. I was not aware that there was actually a plywood layer that would deteriorate when it got wet luckily, no damage to the ceiling inside yet as staining. not real pleased with the fact of how the roof deteriorated and 16 years and water got under the plastic in the front. Do not want to spend the money on fixing it so whoever I sell it to will get a big discount since they will need to take this and get it repaired, any ideas on how I can accomplish this in central California. I am much more pleased with my fiberglass 22 foot Chinnook camper from 1990. No leaks at all and no problems on a Ford van 350 Dooley no leaks from the ceiling on this fiberglass camper since it is all one unit like a big helmet, much better design than the Arctic fox 990 which has problems with the plastic delaminating on the outside and the rubber roof having too many holes in it. also tell your customer they need a large enough truck to carry this as if you want a crew cab you better get a 4500 or a Ford 450. This camper may say 4500 pounds dry but when you load it with all the stuff such as the refrigerator, propane tanks, batteries, and generator along with your beer and ammo, you have just increased your Camper weight to over 6000 pounds. I have even seen people carry these on single wheels which is insane dangerous and greatly overloaded. We originally did this on a 2006 3500 ram Dooley and we’re probably overloaded by 2 tons for at least two years that we used it then we bought a mega cab 3500 ram from 2014 that had a 14,000 pound GWR we were a bit over 1 ton overloaded on that vehicle. #1 put on the scale with family. we were 16,300 pounds.

Nothing wrong with him great guy
Where do those av cables go to behind the TV after they enter the wall???
thanks for the overview. Very helpful!
Great tour!
Very though review. Most complete set up take down I've seen in these reviews. Quite knolagable rv technician. Easy to under standard.
My 2¢: We live in the UK and we have a much earlier version of this Thetford toilet on our 2003 folding camper. We've never had any problems with it, but we stopped paying for the proprietary liquids long ago. Instead, when we're preparing for a trip and following every drain-and-rinse, we chuck a scented liquid laundry detergent capsule (aka: pod) into the cassette along with a couple cups of water. I don't know how things are in the USA, but in the UK there's a choice between laundry detergents which have enzymes and those which do not; we always use the with-enzyme detergent for this purpose. We've found that the trailer jouncing around on even paved roads in good condition for a few hours results in so much agitation of the contents of the cassette that TP and any solids turn into a sort of disgusting-looking but not too-bad smelling soup. The fact that the only chemical we use in the cassette is a normal, domestic product means that we feel no compunction about putting the contents of the cassette down any sort of toilet, so we don't need to find a dedicated black-water dump facility. Also, laundry detergent is obviously available in any supermarket, so we don't need to worry about maintaining a supply of the branded product. Another minor benefit is that the detergent capsules live in a sealed plastic box, so there's never any risk of smelly chemicals spilling.
Don't you need some bleach or stronger chemicals?
@@turkeyphant The only reason I can see to use bleach is in an attempt to sterilise the effluent. That seems pretty pointless to me. Whatever microorganisms are in the tank came from those who are using it, so it's not like there's any danger of catching cholera or some other deadly disease from it. In any case, there's no reason the person emptying the tank should come into contact with the liquid. Our experience is that the contents of the tank don't smell wonderful, but nor does the toilet belch a hideous stench every time the flap is opened to empty the bowl. Obviously, our noses might be less sensitive than yours, and it's also possible that any stray odours come from our tank vent to outside more easily than other arrangements.
Hi where are the batteries located?
