My top 5 cutscenes in no particular order: 1. The first cutscenes in D2 when the Red legion invaded the last city and when everyone loses their light 2. When Ghaul turns into a gargantuan being made of the light that he stole 3. The last stand of the gunslinger 4. The first cutscene in D1 because of nostalgia 5. One thing I miss the most about d1 compared to d2 aesthetic wise is the darker lighting and decaying appearance of everything where d2 everything is far to bright
@@no3raft if destiny 2 was the first Destiny game you played it might have the same magic as playing D1, that's not the case for me though so I don't know. they are definetly in my top 10 video games list
I think the reason I love destiny 1 so much and what’s missing from destiny 2 is the feeling of mystery and exploration. Destiny 1 was so cool because it felt so surreal, like “wow, this is what it will be like in 700 years?” While in destiny 2 it’s just “oh, the fallen are messing around with something they shouldn’t. Again”
I think it might just be that we are used to the game after playing it for so many years, or maybe its just the aesthetic and mystery, but either way I wish i could forget the whole experience and relive it again
The fallen are my favourite enemy’s tho. There raids always have these high tech monstrosity’s born with a sole purpose of geting revenge on humanity and the “Great machine” and the story bosses always have a reason for there actions like Eramis originally wanted to build a safe place for her people where they could live and rebuild there homeworld but found the Darkness and the power she gained corrupt her making her want to turn this safe planet for the Elinski into an Empire with warlords to threaten our power.
Its also because we know so much more. In D1 the story was so lackluster everyone was speculating and filling in the gaps. Now we know a lot about the darknet, while back then we basically knew nothing
My favorite cutscene of all time still has to be the very first one in D1. Practically doesn’t even look like a video game. The music, the setting, the feeling it gives you. It’s so damn good. I’ve missed that feeling in D2. When Martin O Donnell left the music was never the same. The feeling I get from the music at 2:03 is just insane. That’s what I hear when I think of Destiny
You can’t really call it a cutscene but when you start D2 and get to see all of your D1 accomplishments. That’s why I play destiny for those memories I will never forget
