This absolutely sounds crazy because I am a homeless American living in Florida but I want to move to Italy so badly. Everyone lives with such passion and Italian is such a beautiful language. I actually started learning to speak Italian through a language app. The food looks marvelous, especially the sweets. For now, I will just have to experience Italy vicariously through you and Carlo.

What a beautiful city Luca is! When we were outside I imagined it to be all cramped and crowded with buildings, and it was not! Such lovely wide streets and the walkway on top of the wall is just lovely. Another great vlog from Nicki❣️

Oh I loved this video! My husband and I stayed in Casa Columba in Vicopisano in August. We'd been corresponding with Marie for over a year as we were supposed to go in 2020. Marie and Lorenzo are the best hosts and it brought back so many memories to recognize the exact places we were at. We climbed the fortress before the staircase was opened and the little cafe you stopped at during the rain was just getting ready to open when we were there. I can only remember a bit of Lucca mid September, the wall and the towers we climbed up. We walked every where. We base in Firenze for a few days and did satilite day trips to Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra and many other towns on top of hills so many called Monte... It was so nice of you to share Nicki. Really enjoy your trips. 10 Oct 2014 was our last day in Itally Como and Milan before a cramped 23hr flight home not much fun with my long legs.

Everywhere you go in Italy is so beautiful & your friends are too! Had first seen the vid of you & Celine at a villa where she prepared a meal for a group. Then to see Lucca & Sara join you all was so nice too. They announced their baby Luce was on the way. She's now about 6 months old, is so smart & loves to laugh. ❤ They're such great parents with her. Note: they just sold Luigi in recent vids.

I don't know how you do the stair climbing. Even though it is gruelling to get up and down them, your heart, lungs, and muscles are all thanking you in unison. The kind of exercise you get doing this will keep you younger decades longer, Nicki. Keep up the good work, to inspire us to get off our ourses and get moving!

I was very excited to see this episode as you visited where I live - the city of Lucca. When you walked on the wall and commented on the pretty building with the walled garden I live in the apartment next door! It’s a beautiful city! Like you I am British born but my husband and I moved to Lucca in 2019 and we love it here. Our Italian needs lots of work but ……piano piano! I also visit Positano regularly, my other favourite place in Italy, which is how I came to follow you almost from the beginning. You give so much pleasure to so many people. Thank you.

I don't know how you do the stair climbing. Even though it is gruelling to get up and down them, your heart, lungs, and muscles are all thanking you in unison. The kind of exercise you get doing this will keep you younger decades longer, Nicki. Keep up the good work, to inspire us to get off our ourses and get moving!
This was so beautiful! Spending some time with your childhood friends is amazing, especially in such a beautiful place. Loved seeing Luca & Sara and the news about the baby is wonderful. Can't wait to see the next part of this trip. I also missed Carlo with his cool Italian. Celine and Maria seem to be as nice as one expects Nicki's friends to be 💟

This was a great video but what I didn't expect at the end was Sara and Luca (whose video I was going to watch next)! That's too funny. I want to thank you Nicki....you and Carlo, (as well as Sara and Luca) are keeping me company as I work at home after losing my job last March and am now reinventing myself as a contemporary artist and (trauma informed) creativity coach. I want to thank you all for the wonderful videos....and keeping me connected to Italy and my roots (Sicily and Roma). Must brush up on my Italian though. LOL. I was very excited to see this episode as you visited where I live - the city of Lucca. When you walked on the wall and commented on the pretty building with the walled garden I live in the apartment next door! It’s a beautiful city! Like you I am British born but my husband and I moved to Lucca in 2019 and we love it here. Our Italian needs lots of work but ……piano piano! I also visit Positano regularly, my other favourite place in Italy, which is how I came to follow you almost from the beginning. You give so much pleasure to so many people. Thank you.
