I stopped listening to dixie dimwit when in the Steve Lilly stories which he created he completely dissed Steve Isdahl by saying that Sabe was just a word that was made up by the newest popular bigfoot channels liar host or something like that he blatantly takes a stab at Steve for no reason at all, obviously just jealous that he's got no listeners compared to Steve and that was the moment I was done with him for good

Lots of people here still think that some of us here are insane when we mention the supernatural aspects of some encounters. Especially if those are less mentioned, stranger things than lots of people have experienced.

That encounter where the Sabe grabbed your boot while you were in the tree stand.. then noticed the deer and ripped it in half, is absolutely the most frightening encounter! I’m so sorry you had see that! May Creator bless you with peace ✨🙏✨
In my 20's I remember going to work at 7am getting home at 5pm. I would then go out and mow the yard and clean the walks then go inside and start dinner with the wife. get cleaned up and then eat dinner and help put leftovers away for tomorrows lunch. Then I woulld go out clean the mower deck and put tractor in garage. I would check tha oil in tractor and both our cars and top off if needed, shut everything up and head inside. we would watch tv for a couple hours then get in the shower and be ready for bed at around 10pm. Now a days in my late 50's I get up and go to work around 9am come home at 5pm, make dinner and eat. clean up dishes and then take a shower just in time to go to bed at 11pm.... something has changed big time!
Been twigging out about this for a handful of years and I cannot tell you how much better it is to know that there are people that relate to this REALITY of time having condensed considerably over the past decade or so ... than getting the blank looks or having somebody try to equate the go to ' well you know they say that time goes faster as you get older in life ' I used to go to the bar and spend multiple hours a day there having a few and enjoying some time with friends .... ( haven't been in one or had a drink in 7 years now ... not thirsty anymore ) But did that and kept up with the house and yard and laundry and making food and hobbies .... rock hunting and guitar .... we are going camping again this weekend ..... and fix up the old 54 Chevy pick up ..... I quit the bar and began to focus on what I felt I needed to start getting done and did this about 5 or 6 years ago and found that I could just BARELY keep up if that. I should have ahead all this more time .... I mean like 2o hours a week to be productive and working on things..... and it's not there. It's never been there somehow. It's getting progressively more condensed and everything seems to be in this steady state if decay or entropy that I cannot keep up on. So strange when I managed to get to all of it and screw around for so long. Scripture and others prophecy speaks of this happening. The UV levels are completely off the charts from what it used to be some days also. The Bible says there would be no flesh left if not for the days being shortened .... maybe it is from the increased radiation we are getting? I don't know but it's good to see you guys and gals are aware of these things .... alot of people just arent.

Only to go inside wore out and ready for bed to see it was way too early for bed... grabbing a book or something to kill a couple hours.... Not now, I barely have time to do anything I want to do between work and bed....there is something they say about leaving earth and traveling in space then coming back and your time in space would be slower than it was here on earth, I am thinking we have hit another plane in orbit that is speeding us up... I don't have the answers but I know something is off for sure. I can plan an easy day, get up early to get a head start on it and will still fall short of getting it done and if I do somehow get things finished, it is just barely and past my bedtime!

I unsubscribed from Dixie Cryptid a few years ago when Cam made it clear he mixed fictional stories with real encounters. I commented about it and left. I've been looking for the truth for a very long time. I didn't want to be there after that.
same here. I asked why he had to make it "Steve Lilly, Bigfoot Hunter." Like it's ok to hunt people. He does take a lot of time beforehand to stumble through & change sentences to make them understandable while our Steve here stumbles through some atrocious writing. Frankly, we have an entire education system that should be sued.

When I was in first grade I had two of my second cousins (or something like that) along with their henchman, all a year above me, harassing me, taunting me, until they provoked me to fight their henchman. I had to be pulled off him by my mates at the end. I had a powerful temper in those days, even though skinny. Two years later when my brother started school, the same crap happened... he's a damn killing machine, lol. Hey! I have sent Steve multiple email with the multiple experiences I have had. He read my stories exactly word for word the way I wrote them. I want nothing to do with the hairy man but they keep showing up around where I live, when I’m camping, or up the canyons near my home. I think they are more prevalent than we all think. I think you get tagged and they follow you!! Steve is honest and doesn’t make up stories!!! He never changed one word when he read my emails.

I used to watch Dixie Crypted until he started making up big foot strories of hunters going after them, he said that he wrote the stories and so did his assistant . He also admitted he has never had experience with or sightings of and did not believe, he has nothing to do with truth, dumped his channel two years ago
I used to watch Todd Standing, but he says they are Gigantopithecus, but they mind speak, so I dumped him about 2 or 3 months ago. I've only been on Steve's about 4 months, maybe, and have learned more in 3 months here, than I have in the past 10.

Strangely, three in particular popped up in succession in my feed that I listened to, and all three strongly caution against seeking any communication with these beings. I think the dangerous thing any of us can do is try to apply our own human values, morals, rules, to Sasquatch beings and even dare to think we have a one-up on them in ANY capacity or stretch of the imagination...or can assume they are ever 100% truthful with us in any form of interaction or communication. All we can go on is the evidence gathered that others have so generously learned through their own experiences and shared. I listen to and gather from many I trust. Scott was one who learned and shared extensively, sometimes with regrets he was more than willing to share in hopes of educating the rest of us. I take that at face value. Is thinking "It might be different for me?" really worth testing? For me personally, as someone who deeply loves my family and self....no. That doesn't make me a p***y-ass-bitch afraid to "take a risk". Uh, no. It makes me someone who deeply loves my family and self and tagging is not a risk I personally would take. Doesn't make me want answers any less, or to prove liars wrong and outted any less. But you have to consider the potential pricetag. "For me", living with the knowledge I have, knowing we're all lied to bigtime and knowledge we're entitled to is withheld....I'd still rather LIVE with that, than push the envelope in the quest for answers that likely tags me or my loved ones, and perhaps even my life. There was a story i heard from a letter written in, they were up in some hunting ground somewhere in virginia and were fucked with from a sabe’ and when he told his father his father told him that when he was a young man he had a friend that was found with 2 broken legs and was besten badly and had taken his own life with his hunting rifle. The dad figured he had been bullied by that same sabe’ and instead of dying slowly he ended it quickly. Who knows for sure.
Dixie Cryptid is a "story telling" channel. He isn't sure they're real & does NOT investigate the stories. He has no concern as to whether they are REAL or not. Nice guy, good hearted & possibly as mainstream as one can get.

Even though it's a 'process' (editing) he is kind enough to put these up on YT & unsurpringly, they've become popular. Good guy, edits a good story well & I'd certainly have a cup of coffee with him someday. Really, just a guy out of his depth on cryptids.

Cam Buckner is a nice man and he is NOT a RESEARCHER and is the first to say he KNOWS NOTHING about SABE. He is a STORYTELLER. That is all. Thats why he also narrates some kindle books. He is not a denier although unless you acually see a Sabe can you ever be a believer? When you send a story to CAM you give him permission to correct spelling, grammar and syntax. I think Cam would be horrified to think he upset this man by making his story more readable. If you need to get an experience off your chest, this is the place. Not to send it to Cam which is more entertainment. I think Steve went off the rails here.

Some years ago, I had a big sasquatch hanging around my property, 18" foot print. It was summer and I think he was here for apples and blackberries that grow on my property. I didn't mind sharing my fruit but I started finding areas that he was obviously watching me from and areas where he was bedding down . I decided he had to go, but how was I going to get him to leave. My long time friend, back country partner told me a story about an incident in the store where he was in line behind a woman with the most "god awful strong perfume." He said he couldn't stand it he had to get away from her . He said "I bet the sasquatch would feel the same way, and he definitely wouldn't want any of that smell to get on him". "Can you imagine Sasquatch trying to sneak around and hunt smelling like that, it would screw up everything in his world". So, I went to all my friends, relatives, thrift store and got all the old stinky perfume and cologne that I could find and I poured it in and around the areas where he was sleeping and watching me and on some trails he had made. Well, It worked like a charm . I just had to reapply it about every 30 days or so. No confrontation, or shots fired. So if you want to get sasquatch to move on, this is an easy way to do it. If you're not hunting and maybe worried about hiking or taking your kids, give everyone a good spray. Everything will stay away from you.😃

This New Years some biddy grabbed me for a kiss which I managed to convert to an awkward hug but I still got the perfume on my clothes and transferred on to my hands which I washed but it wouldn't come off with washing up liquid - I had to rub vaseline on it to emulsify it and scrape it off - nightmare. I can imagine a sasquatch grabbing a skunk to get normal!
I'm 80 in a few days and have survived very bad bacterial pneumonia and stage 4 prostrate cancer. Cancer has not been detected 7 years. Also, I've ridden motorcycles since I was 14! Lost an eye when I was 6. So, I am happy to still be here!
Dixie Cryptids is a great campfire Storyteller-style TouTube channel, and has great intro/exit music. I haven’t listened in awhile, but it is well done. The host at least does disclose that he condenses (or retells) the accounts which are sent to him, using his own words for ease of story-telling. I have since listened to HTH most often, until it has become the only Sabe-related channel I watch. Have never been a fan of the mainstream Bigfoot-hunter TV shows, though..

I listened to Cam for quite awhile before I came across HTH. I despised the fiction. He always remarked how impressed he was with how well a story was written which obviously encourages people to try to impress his audience with their writing skills. I had NO interest and completely quit listening.
Dixies stories read like they were written by a professional writer. Then you listen to Steve struggle to read a boatload of illiterate stories. That’s how you know Steve’s are written by real people.

Most of the accounts I have heard where it appears that a person was killed by a Sasquatch are instances where it was retaliatory behavior of some sort
There is no question that they pass on huge numbers of opportunities to kill humans. I think of all the many accounts of people who ran away in terror from a Sasquatch.

Thinking the two Forest People hunted together, had both used the tree branches on the deer. They tore the deer in half to share.They had already marked it as theirs so they took it. The hunters arrow maybe was seen as interference. Sorry for the drama the hunter experienced.

Love the channel and everyone's encounters. I grew up in Limestone, NY. I believe these people encountered one as I sighted one about the same time of season in 2000. Lots of big woods here for them. Keep up the great work on getting the word out!!!

I have heard another encounter, a guy in a tree stand got pulled from it and landed on his back. There was an argument between the male and a female Bigfoot, and the female carried the guy close to a home where she knew he would be found & helped. Caro
To the man who had gis boot grabbed. I fully understand the fear that these experiences cause us. Trust me you need tk get back in the woods. For your own mental health, you need to "heal" and move on. I was terrifed for years until i received the same advice. Just nake baby steps, you don't need to statt again with a solo deep forest overnight trip. Just think about it.

I do NOT tolerate bullying. I'm heading into my late 60's and I'm a short round old woman. Something primal comes up for me when others are threatened. I've chased off dogs that thought they were gonna attack my dog(s). I 1000% agree with Steve that stepping up and saying or showing a, "Bring It" demeanor changes stuff.
There are storytellers, and then there are people who have experienced the sasquach. The story tellers are for enjoyment, and then there are the people who share their truth. If you don't like a channel, find another. Though I must admit I do sometimes indulge in BB, with Nance as a narrator, sometimes I just want a story. I used to follow Scott Carpenter (bless his soul, he is sorely missed) he did a lot of research, as well as David P. I come here to hear the peoples truth. I feel Steve is an upright guy I can tell by his passion as he speaks and reads the stories that everyone shares. I have learned so much from others' experiences and hope they never give up on the things they enjoy. I did give up my hiking, and now I am 72 and lost a lot of wonderful time in the woods, I will never get back because I allowed fear to control my life.
Interesting, Steve, maybe the creature had the deer freeze , using it, s unknown power, before the tree stand hunter , shot it, released the creatures power over the deer, when the creature grabbed the hunters foot. Distracted by the hunter. Maybe the creature left hafe of the deer for the hunters efforts. Will never know.

Wonder if he grabbed the boot with blood in it. If so the sasquatch may have smelled it and just used his smell sense instead of his sight sense in that second. I am someone who can smell the iron in blood, other can smell the sugar I blood. It wouldn't surprise me if the sasquatch sense of smell was better than ours, like a dogs, which is orders of magnitude, better than ours.
Re: Deer torm apart horror story. I absolutely believe this poor hunter's nightmare experience. However, he must have a guardian angel watching over him, or he would have become that beast's victim. Instead, sadly, it was that poor deer that you took pity on and put out of its misery. Blessings to you.
I remember the bow hunter in a tree story from Dixie Cryptid. Scary stuff. I hoped the hunter was able to get back to hunting, maybe going with a friend.
To the person in the treestand, seems you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, through no fault of your own. I am glad you were not harmed physically. Psychologically, yes you were harmed, your reality of life was shattered. If you can , think of this experience as just that an experience and now you have knowledge of something very few experience. Now as to being scared, and shake about going back into the forest, that will take time. You need to go our on baby steps. The Sasquatch are not going to be everywhere you go. Like Steve says, take baby steps until you feel comfortable to do a little more. In time, you will be over the initial fear and the doubt will diminish with time. Hope this helps a little.
Dixie Cryptid's sight plainly says he is just telling stories. He says he changes some of the writing to make it smooth and flow well . He is very up front that he is strictly there for entertainment purposes only . He isn't trying to mislead anyone. I personally know him and he is a great guy . What is it when your young time goes fast then when your around 60 time flies even faster 😮
In my 20's I remember going to work at 7am getting home at 5pm. I would then go out and mow the yard and clean the walks then go inside and start dinner with the wife. get cleaned up and then eat dinner and help put leftovers away for tomorrows lunch. Then I woulld go out clean the mower deck and put tractor in garage. I would check tha oil in tractor and both our cars and top off if needed, shut everything up and head inside. we would watch tv for a couple hours then get in the shower and be ready for bed at around 10pm. Now a days in my late 50's I get up and go to work around 9am come home at 5pm, make dinner and eat. clean up dishes and then take a shower just in time to go to bed at 11pm.... something has changed big time!

Been twigging out about this for a handful of years and I cannot tell you how much better it is to know that there are people that relate to this REALITY of time having condensed considerably over the past decade or so

I used to go to the bar and spend multiple hours a day there having a few and enjoying some time with friends .... ( haven't been in one or had a drink in 7 years now ... not thirsty anymore )
But did that and kept up with the house and yard and laundry and making food and hobbies .... rock hunting and guitar .... we are going camping again this weekend ..... and fix up the old 54 Chevy pick up .....
I quit the bar and began to focus on what I felt I needed to start getting done and did this about 5 or 6 years ago and found that I could just BARELY keep up if that. I should have ahead all this more time .... I mean like 2o hours a week to be productive and working on things..... and it's not there. It's never been there somehow.
It's getting progressively more condensed and everything seems to be in this steady state if decay or entropy that I cannot keep up on. So strange when I managed to get to all of it and screw around for so long.
Scripture and others prophecy speaks of this happening. The UV levels are completely off the charts from what it used to be some days also. The Bible says there would be no flesh left if not for the days being shortened .... maybe it is from the increased radiation we are getting? I don't know but it's good to see you guys and gals are aware of these things .... alot of people just arent.

Only to go inside wore out and ready for bed to see it was way too early for bed... grabbing a book or something to kill a couple hours.... Not now, I barely have time to do anything I want to do between work and bed....there is something they say about leaving earth and traveling in space then coming back and your time in space would be slower than it was here on earth, I am thinking we have hit another plane in orbit that is speeding us up... I don't have the answers but I know something is off for sure. I can plan an easy day, get up early to get a head start on it and will still fall short of getting it done and if I do somehow get things finished, it is just barely and past my bedtime!

When I was in first grade I had two of my second cousins (or something like that) along with their henchman, all a year above me, harassing me, taunting me, until they provoked me to fight their henchman. I had to be pulled off him by my mates at the end. I had a powerful temper in those days, even though skinny. Two years later when my brother started school, the same crap happened... he's a damn killing machine, lol.
No one ever picked fights with us, or at least me, my brother, to this day is a bit of a brawler.

Hey! I have sent Steve multiple email with the multiple experiences I have had. He read my stories exactly word for word the way I wrote them. I want nothing to do with the hairy man but they keep showing up around where I live, when I’m camping, or up the canyons near my home. I think they are more prevalent than we all think. I used to watch Todd Standing, but he says they are Gigantopithecus, but they mind speak, so I dumped him about 2 or 3 months ago. I've only been on Steve's about 4 months, maybe, and have learned more in 3 months here, than I have in the past 10.

I've been re-listening to some of Scott Carpenter's UA-cams, I guess cuz I just miss the guy. Strangely, three in particular popped up in succession in my feed that I listened to, and all three strongly caution against seeking any communication with these beings. Really makes me worried about your anticipated trip to Texas. I know you don't have time to watch UA-cams, etc., but it may be worth considering Scott's point of view on this issue, by you and Sarah. He, like so many who have had Sasquatch encounters, admit to being tagged, and are gone now, many with brain-related endings. (???)

I think the dangerous thing any of us can do is try to apply our own human values, morals, rules, to Sasquatch beings and even dare to think we have a one-up on them in ANY capacity or stretch of the imagination...or can assume they are ever 100% truthful with us in any form of interaction or communication. All we can go on is the evidence gathered that others have so generously learned through their own experiences and shared. I listen to and gather from many I trust. Scott was one who learned and shared extensively, sometimes with regrets he was more than willing to share in hopes of educating the rest of us. I take that at face value. Is thinking "It might be different for me?" really worth testing?
For me personally, as someone who deeply loves my family and self....no. That doesn't make me a p***y-ass-bitch afraid to "take a risk". Uh, no. It makes me someone who deeply loves my family and self and tagging is not a risk I personally would take. Doesn't make me want answers any less, or to prove liars wrong and outted any less. But you have to consider the potential pricetag. "For me", living with the knowledge I have, knowing we're all lied to bigtime and knowledge we're entitled to is withheld....I'd still rather LIVE with that, than push the envelope in the quest for answers that likely tags me or my loved ones, and perhaps even my life.
But that's me. I have three adult kids, and two adorable grandgirls. I have much to live for no matter what. "I" would never in a million years risk any of that. Scott has made it abundantly clear that that IS a pricetag, and one he clearly regrets, tried to back off from, and even requested his own son NOT pursue future "research".
How dire does it need to get to believe???
If you really, REALLY listen to Scott's words....
- He knows he was tagged and has lived to regret it...despite his efforts to thwart it and help others thwart it.
- He didn't want his his kids pursuing Sasquatch research.
- He felt he, Steve, and Dave P. were having the most honest and impactful effect for others.
- He shared his experiences and beliefs with Steve and Dave P. and made no bones about it. There is no question that h e dissuaded them both from pursuing Sasquatch "research"/ contact.

One of my twins was stabbed in the back every day with sharp pencils during class & became suicidal. The other one beat the crap out of the bullies as soon as they went out into the hall. The smaller one would leave school & run home, & the school threatened to suspend HIM (Straight A student). And threatened the other for beating the sht out of the bullies. I finally had to call the parents myself.
Now? I'd have sued them.
All 5 boys have grown up strong, body building, very successful.
But we were not taught it was ok to be a bitch to protect your children & the schools put up posters but really do not gaf.
There was a story i heard from a letter written in, they were up in some hunting ground somewhere in virginia and were fucked with from a sabe’ and when he told his father his father told him that when he was a young man he had a friend that was found with 2 broken legs and was besten badly and had taken his own life with his hunting rifle. The dad figured he had been bullied by that same sabe’ and instead of dying slowly he ended it quickly. Who knows for sure.

Even though it's a 'process' (editing) he is kind enough to put these up on YT & unsurpringly, they've become popular. Good guy, edits a good story well & I'd certainly have a cup of coffee with him someday. Really, just a guy out of his depth on cryptids.
Now to me it seems like if you were in the woods and all of a sudden felt like if you keep going forward, your going to die, would that not be "listening to your gut instinct " on the highest more primal order?? Feeling that fear? So what makes it any different if there is some unknown thing crashing and breaking branches trying to get you out of an area? My belief is there is no difference. Cam Buckner is a nice man and he is NOT a RESEARCHER and is the first to say he KNOWS NOTHING about SABE. He is a STORYTELLER. That is all. Thats why he also narrates some kindle books. He is not a denier although unless you acually see a Sabe can you ever be a believer? When you send a story to CAM you give him permission to correct spelling, grammar and syntax. I think Cam would be horrified to think he upset this man by making his story more readable. If you need to get an experience off your chest, this is the place. I'm having the same issues with time.
Some years ago, I had a big sasquatch hanging around my property, 18" foot print. It was summer and I think he was here for apples and blackberries that grow on my property. I didn't mind sharing my fruit but I started finding areas that he was obviously watching me from and areas where he was bedding down .
I decided he had to go, but how was I going to get him to leave. My long time friend, back country partner told me a story about an incident in the store where he was in line behind a woman with the most "god awful strong perfume." He said he couldn't stand it he had to get away from her .
He said "I bet the sasquatch would feel the same way, and he definitely wouldn't want any of that smell to get on him". "Can you imagine Sasquatch trying to sneak around and hunt smelling like that, it would screw up everything in his world".
So, I went to all my friends, relatives, thrift store and got all the old stinky perfume and cologne that I could find and I poured it in and around the areas where he was sleeping and watching me and on some trails he had made.
Well, It worked like a charm . I just had to reapply it about every 30 days or so. No confrontation, or shots fired.
So if you want to get sasquatch to move on, this is an easy way to do it.
If you're not hunting and maybe worried about hiking or taking your kids, give everyone a good spray. Everything will stay away from you.😃

This New Years some biddy grabbed me for a kiss which I managed to convert to an awkward hug but I still got the perfume on my clothes and transferred on to my hands which I washed but it wouldn't come off with washing up liquid - I had to rub vaseline on it to emulsify it and scrape it off - nightmare. Dixie Cryptids is a great campfire Storyteller-style TouTube channel, and has great intro/exit music. I haven’t listened in awhile, but it is well done. The host at least does disclose that he condenses (or retells) the accounts which are sent to him, using his own words for ease of story-telling. I have since listened to HTH most often, until it has become the only Sabe-related channel I watch. Have never been a fan of the mainstream Bigfoot-hunter TV shows, though..

I listened to Cam for quite awhile before I came across HTH. I despised the fiction. He always remarked how impressed he was with how well a story was written which obviously encourages people to try to impress his audience with their writing skills. I had NO interest and completely quit listening.
Dixies stories read like they were written by a professional writer. Then you listen to Steve struggle to read a boatload of illiterate stories. That’s how you know Steve’s are written by real people.

I think they probably do sometimes but like with other non-human species there seems to be a substantial inhibition against predating humans.
Most of the accounts I have heard where it appears that a person was killed by a Sasquatch are instances where it was retaliatory behavior of some sort
And in most of those instances the Sasquatch chose not to eat the human.
There is no question that they pass on huge numbers of opportunities to kill humans. I think of all the many accounts of people who ran away in terror from a Sasquatch.

Thinking the two Forest People hunted together, had both used the tree branches on the deer.
They tore the deer in half to share.They had already marked it as theirs so they took it. The hunters arrow maybe was seen as interference. Sorry for the drama the hunter experienced.

For your own mental health, you need to "heal" and move on. I was terrifed for years until i received the same advice. Just nake baby steps, you don't need to statt again with a solo deep forest overnight trip. Just think about it.

no kidding! im over in lake country..that fire came right up to lake country before the prov stopped it!

After I had my encounter, I didn't allow it to keep me out of the woods. My love of hunting is greater than fear that has never entered my mind.
My encounter seriously rattled me but I got back in the woods hunting but it changed me forever.

There are storytellers, and then there are people who have experienced the sasquach. The story tellers are for enjoyment, and then there are the people who share their truth. If you don't like a channel, find another. Though I must admit I do sometimes indulge in BB, with Nance as a narrator, sometimes I just want a story. I used to follow Scott Carpenter (bless his soul, he is sorely missed) he did a lot of research, as well as David P. I come here to hear the peoples truth. I feel Steve is an upright guy I can tell by his passion as he speaks and reads the stories that everyone shares.
I have learned so much from others' experiences and hope they never give up on the things they enjoy. I did give up my hiking, and now I am 72 and lost a lot of wonderful time in the woods, I will never get back because I allowed fear to control my life.
Interesting, Steve, maybe the creature had the deer freeze , using it, s unknown power, before the tree stand hunter , shot it, released the creatures power over the deer, when the creature grabbed the hunters foot. Distracted by the hunter. Maybe the creature left hafe of the deer for the hunters efforts. Will never know.

Do you find time to go slower when you are in the bush and faster at home? Or are they the same?
Wonder if he grabbed the boot with blood in it. If so the sasquatch may have smelled it and just used his smell sense instead of his sight sense in that second. I am someone who can smell the iron in blood, other can smell the sugar I blood. It wouldn't surprise me if the sasquatch sense of smell was better than ours, like a dogs, which is orders of magnitude, better than ours.

I absolutely believe this poor hunter's nightmare experience. However, he must have a guardian angel watching over him, or he would have become that beast's victim. Instead, sadly, it was that poor deer that you took pity on and put out of its misery. Blessings to you.
I remember the bow hunter in a tree story from Dixie Cryptid. Scary stuff. I hoped the hunter was able to get back to hunting, maybe going with a friend.
To the person in the treestand, seems you were in the wrong place at the wrong time, through no fault of your own. I am glad you were not harmed physically. Psychologically, yes you were harmed, your reality of life was shattered. If you can , think of this experience as just that an experience and now you have knowledge of something very few experience. Now as to being scared, and shake about going back into the forest, that will take time. You need to go our on baby steps. The Sasquatch are not going to be everywhere you go. Like Steve says, take baby steps until you feel comfortable to do a little more. In time, you will be over the initial fear and the doubt will diminish with time. Hope this helps a little.

He is very up front that he is strictly there for entertainment purposes only . He isn't trying to mislead anyone. I personally know him and he is a great guy .
