I watch so many debates and interviews etc but this is the first time I come across Raju Parulekar. What a wonderful journalist. Soft spoken and candid. I really loved his insights. Common public doesn't know so much about IAC and the thuggery that was Anna. Really an eye opener.

You seem to be highly impressed of what he said and on that i ask you if the hatred towards brahmins increases due to such theories which this guy said and massacres of brahmins begins, would that be acceptable to you? Independent india has seen two rather three waves of brahmins massacre one in kashmir another in Maharashtra and last one in tamil nadu.
What really perplexes me is how come brahmins are fanning brahmin hate which will finally engulf themselves if that hate translates to some sort of massacre and history is evident of such instances.

Good interview... good to know we still have journalists like Mr Raju Parulekar, simple communication , candid , clarity in his thoughts, I presume doesn't lose his shirt and more important he gave a good cue to the current bunch of bozos on main stream channels ( interviewers ) shut up and listen !!

India is fundamentally a secular democracy where all people belonging to different religions and casts live together peacefully and harmoniously. This is what our Constitution envisages. Hearing such journalists make us feel proud that soul still exists in journalism and India is a safe country and a growing democracy with humanism. Hearing this interview, the inference one can make is Dr. Manmohan Singh was a righteous PM; he was taking the country in the right direction people like Kejriwal created a roadblock and media propaganda of that time destroyed sectors like Telecom sector so many people had lost their jobs and their life affected. Media of that time should take responsibility. Dr. Manmohan Singh for sure was a graceful Prime Minister and still is after he retired. Rahul Gandhi also suffered a lot. Anyways, good to see journalists like Sujit Nair, Raju, Abhisar, Ravish bringing back honesty and service to the profession. Common Man always is powerful in this country.

As per Anna's age he must have been a child around 1947! He was touted as a freedom fighter during the movement. He must have been the youngest freedom fighter ever! People were really taken for a ride then!

Raju Parulekar is absolutely great. such a fabulous interview.
Excellent interview by Sujit. It clearly showed Raju's personality.
Although the main intent of the interview was to gain sympathy for Raju, discrediting Anna Hazare, AAP etc.
Raju's "thinks" ( not necessarily is ) that he is absolutely truthful and that itself absolves him from being anti establishment.
His unbashed leanings towards Congress & specifically Pappu ( every body has his preferences & it's their constitutional right) was very clear. Just to balance this and appear unbiased he included Mamta,Lallu, Nitesh in his list but his 1 & only preference was crystal clear. I wouldn't be surprised if he would enter politics some time soon through his preferencial party ( Congress) .
To gauge him overall,he is equally shrewd and cunning to Arvind Kejriwal.
Although he is a Maharashtrian he is typically British from the days of British Raj. ( If you understand what I mean) He is an excellent long term career planner and strategist.
Wonderful choice at end. INClusive leader.
