How to add solar post cap lights

We had some rough looking post caps on our front stairs and we needed to replace them. We decided to add solar post cap lights to give our entry some ambiance and a cool look. These solar post cap lights were very simple to install and produce a lot of light, making this an excellent result.

Do these fit pyramid tops?

The ones we got had a flat base so you’d have to cut them flat. But they might sell some with pyramid bases.
