I could have been a millionaire!! I’ve made so many jar lights like this using the solar stake lights and an outdoor messy sealant around them to keep the water out and every time I’d tell my husband, why hasn’t anyone come up with a solar panel that fits in the jar lids and screws on?! I missed my opportunity to create and mfg them myself. I had the idea years ago, but the thought of making them myself never entered my mind, dang it!!

I really love the idea with the bowls & jars with the different things for the seasons in the jars. I was skeptical if the lights would show through, but the did!! And a side note, I love your new hair style, very cute!!

I've seen these mason jars in a store & I should've gotten a few for this project. I didn't know what to do with them. I do now!😊 I just hope they're a few left at the store.🏃♀️

Where does everyone find these Solar fairy lights?!
I have seen strands of fairy lights at Dollar Tree. I order mine from amazon in strands of 200 to 300. They are awesome and have lasted for several years. As a matter of fact I have had mine for about 5 years. Try Harbor Freight or some craft store.

Is it easy to charge the solar lights through the colored bowel
If it’s only a glue gun that’s been used, you’ll be ok, it will come off the bowl clean, at least that’s been my experience of glue guns!
The problem I have with Dollar Store solar lights is the blue light which isn't very bright. Then you get what you pay for....
We used to call the helicopters "whirligigs"

Won't the heat from the little lights catch the little helicopters on fire being as it's enclosed?
Those little lights don't produce enough heat to do anything.
