    Where were all these amazing ‘Stoic’ videos years ago when I needed to hear an outside reassuring voice. They are packed full of great advice and ongoing lessons to live each day with a logical mindset.

      To the worthwhile person seeing this, your dream is not dead. Don’t let past and current pains and hurts stop or define you. You are more than a conqueror. Rise up and pull yourself together. Keep pushing; your future depends on it. I wish you all the best in life. Please share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.

    I recently started learning about the stoic mindset and it makes the most sense out of other phillosophys and religions i've read about. you becomes your "purpus" in life, and that you is a wise, strong, resiliant, content and caring man who walks on earth unfazed by the distractions and challenges that life has to offer.

    I’m commenting before watching the video, and I won’t change it afterwards. My world is nearly filled with negativity from my own perspective based on the outcomes of all the situations I’ve lived through to this point.
    My exwife is the focus of the majority of this negativity, because the relationship we had during marriage was unbearable to hold together. I never broke my vows, but she would regularly break them and involved our children in several ways.
    After several years of being away from her and divorced where I was awarded full custody, I still feel ashamed at myself for still loving her. I don’t know how I can still hold those feelings towards her when there’s multitudes of reasons for the opposite. However, my heart has trudged on through all this time…and it still feels like yesterday that everything started to collapse.
    I don’t know how much therapy I’ve been through, or tactics I’ve employed to help cope with the fallout…but I always end up back in this space where I mourn the loss of our family life. I wanted to grow old with her, and raise our sons together…but life has been fairly cruel towards that dream.

      It seems you've weathered significant storms in your life, and your openness in sharing your struggles is commendable. Stoicism teaches us that while we cannot control external events, we can govern our responses and attitudes towards them. It's natural to feel sorrow and to mourn lost dreams, but remember, the present moment offers a space to cultivate inner resilience and peace. Continue your journey of self-discovery and healing, acknowledging your emotions yet striving to remain rooted in the present, focusing on what you can control-your thoughts and actions. Life's trials, while harsh, can also be the soil in which we grow our wisdom and strength.

    While we can't always control HOW we feel we CAN control how we react to those feelings! I would also like to add #5 is SO important! We may not have everything we want or even everything we need, but there is always someone who has it worse!

    Depression= i pressed on
    It's all in your mind folks, emotions dont dictate us, we dictate the emotions. Discard your emotions and delve into deeo thinking why you have these symptoms. Then ask yourself, change is a constant just as particles are always moving.
    Ask yourself, do you want to change? If so, then find out why you are really in your emotions. Why do they have control over you. What are you afraid of? What are you willing to do to overcome the emotional turmoil that grips your heart?
    Once you answer these, seperatong out emotional examples, you can build a roadmap to self improve. Everyday is a good day to change your circumstances from within.

    Why is practicing stoic philosophy difficult in today's world, BEWARE of the 7 headless horsemen of PRIDE, GREED, WRATH, ENVY, LUST, GLUTTONY, and SLOTH Together they carve out a destructive path through humanity. Together they almost can not be defeated by any human, ANY HUMAN every HUMAN. All I know about JESUS CHRIST is he suffered greatly. That is all that matters to me about JESUS. It is not easy!! Good luck every body.
