I didn't know how to deal with the toxic behavior of an abusive spouse so I kept telling a close female friend of the family. She, through her onesided response, closer to him, was not really my friend but his. I have learned and moving on happily since I accepted what I couldn't change.

You're not supposed to deal with toxic behavior from a spouse.
The answer is to throw away the spouse

I'm so glad to hear that you’ve learned and grown from it. It takes a lot of strength to accept what can’t be changed and to move forward with a sense of peace. Recognizing who truly has your back is a powerful step, and I’m proud of you for reclaiming your happiness. May you continue to heal, grow stronger, and surround yourself with genuine love and support moving forward. 💖✨

Didn't even finish the video before I had to step out... The game changed right before my eyes and I'm back to finish this one.
I'd rate this 5 out of 5 stars just because it works

Stoic principles remind me of Islamic principles. You are talking about gratitude, The first word of the Quran is Alhumdulillah which means all praises and all thanks are for our Lord, God, Allah
