That is by far the most explosive talent and stage persona I have seen come out of a teenager (she was 16 when she did this). HAL CA is awesome, it’s like she’s channeling from another dimension and owning it!
You three young Japanese musicians : I listen to your fantastic music and see in your passionate faces and I know: The next 50 years of Rock n Roll are assured.
As soon as you are 18 and are allowed to travel alone, get on a plane and come to Germany and play live. We are waiting for you.
Most exciting rock trio since Cream in 1966. I'm a 70 year old guitar aficionado, Texas cowboy, that loves great music, all genres. Asterism is AWESOME! Rock on! Blessings and success in music and all of life!
Our friends in Japan have taken 2 of the best home-grown cultural things to come out of America, and taken very good care to nurture and preserve them: baseball and rock music.

As a Texan and an old SRV fan I felt very honored that coming to America they came first to Texas, paying tribute to Stevie by playing a great arrangement of Scuttle Buttin' and visiting the Statue at Town Lake. That Lil' Ol' Band From Japan.
As a 70 year blues, blues/rock fan, I am not into metal. But, when i heard Asterism play SRV's "Scuttle" song, I was hooked. Asterism is a GREAT band, great musicians, especially to be so young. Haruka Noma kicks serious ass on guitar. I think SRV would like them too. I wish them every success

Saki seems to make a point of knowing and being friendly with all the female musicians, especially guitarists. I wonder if Haruka has ever talked with her about jamming out with her at Naon no Yaon for the World Guitar Girls jam session? Such an awe-inspiring young lady.💪🏻🤘🏻

These guys are just top top musicians - irrespective of age, their age has absolutely nothing to do with it as this level is rarely reached among adults.

They were a stunning band right from the beginning. Haruka is like every metal and hard rock guitarist I've ever liked, all rolled into one tiny but massive explosion of passion and energy and melody. Miyu and Mio also are very talented and passionate in their playing. One of the highlights from their first full album Ignition.

Hal-Ca-chan is so animated and so amazing on that axe, it's easy to overlook that Mio & Miyu are also amazing on their instruments - and complement H-C so well!

They're all phenomenal but the guitarist is clearly a natural-born performer, she's got that sort of explosive swagger and energy that you normally only see from 80's shredlord guitarists, lmao. I can only imagine how much fun it must be to see this band live!

Wow, I know you hear it often but I am stunned. You guys are a great group and NO you don't need a vocalist!! The English barrier is no barrier when your music is this good! Thank you I am having flash backs to Hendrix, Santana, Frampton and Clapton. You remind me of Cream (trio band) except they had Clapton and Bruce singing which I still maintain you don't need. Try not to lose the passion you guys have now it is so infectious hearing your music!!

At 70, I grew up listening to Cream, Hendrix, Santana, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Winter, Ten Years After (late great Alvin Lee). These kids remind me of all of those great bands from the 1960s and 70s. They have the musical talent to match any of the past super bands, in my opinion. I'm more of a blues/rock fan over "metal," but I would pay most anything to hear Asterism in person. I would be thrilled and honored to do anything I could to promote these amazing young virtuoso musicians. They're exciting, fun, dynamic, charismatic, remarkably talented. They're also great representatives for their native Japan. I hope they become super famous, successful. They seem well grounded, not into substance abuse, passionate about music, emotionally stable, remarkably mature for their ages. They are the best trio I've heard since 1996 when I first heard Cream. @@@Lpmgato1 Ah the late great Alvin Lee he shredded at Woodstock (1969) and it took everyone else 10 years after (pun intended) to catch up to him!! These kids have been doing this since they were 11 and are grounded and dedicated to their music. I don't know if you saw this but here is their performance in the cow meadow for SXSW that lasted 30 mins and drew a few fans, still can't believe people are meandering by and not awestruck by these kids. (ua-cam.com/video/0MF2wSk60iU/v-deo.html) they played a number of clubs in Texas before hitting Calf and heading home. I am with you I will shout till I am hoarse about this group!! The first time I heard them it was like the first time with Hendrix, Lee, Frampton, Santana etc.. just stunned and then to learn they aren't old enough to drive and can't play after 8:00 pm in Japan due to Child Labor Laws was mind blowing. They have revived my faith that there are still great musician and great music to be heard before I am gone!!!

@@Lpmgato1 Finally getting some YT reactors to give these kids some air time. So far they are all blown away as I knew they would be. Kids are touring now in Asia, mostly China and I think Korea. Hoping they make it back to the States soon really want to see them live for now I have to settle for their FB sessions as my only dose of the band LIVE. Still hearing people say they are TEENS and no vocals as if that is an automatic disqualification, I don't know what ever happened to wanting to try new music, these days people seem happy listening to some auto-tuned creation as opposed to real musicians playing LIVE!!

Same here. I love blues, blues rock and jazz. But Asterism is SO TALENTED, so passionate, I really love their music. They're all young, but closely support each other. They're great musicians, great representatives for their native Japan. I wish Asterism every success!

It's so frustrating that great Japanese bands don't sell MP3s in the US. I don't use streaming services. I just want to buy the album, but we are still living 30 years in the past having to buy import CDs. Love this band, but what is up with Yamaha records?
Their album and 2 EPs are published by Tokuma Japan Communications, who currently appears to be selling these records (along with others in that record company's catalog) through a downloadable-music store called OTOTOY.
What's more, these records actually are available for purchase from there outside of Japan (in the US at least) -- unlike some others in OTOTOY's catalog, which are region-restricted by IP address.
Google Play, Amazon, BandCamp... Non-import pricing would also be helpful. There is a real disconnect between Japanese markets and the rest of the world. 10 years ago, I could understand it. But now? Money blowing out of the window for these labels and most importantly these artists.

I can hear some Gary Moore there.. and some Karl (Cromok) style shredding.. hehe.. am not saying they are influenced by them.. talented musicians sometimes create similar end products though they didnt necessarily know each other.. like they say, great minds think alike.

She turned 16 in November 2018. May be the best young guitarist I've ever heard. Haruka Noma (aka, Hal-Ca), is a true guitar genius.
