In the Google Store it maybe called Kapang not ViewTV. Also don't forget, to sign-up you need to visit their website.

After installing on a Firestick and making a profile, then clear cache and verifying my email address on a tablet. Cannot see an option to select a subscription. Tried twice. No channels. I cannot see what am I doing wrong? Please help
Downloaded kapang but can't open it.

Hi Adam, we used to have this app but I'm afraid it no longer loads. We have tried both View TV and Kapang Android. We are outside the UK and do use a UK VPN. We have a Sony Bravia TV with an Android system. Yesterday our Firestick Lit threw in the towel. I tried all the "solutions" to fix it, no luck. I contacted the Tech at Amazon they said the update for the fire stick had not been updated. The good news is they are sending a new Fire stick, well done Amazon I say

This will be great for my sister as she hates having to switch from firestick to normal TV to watch uk channels so I will put this on for her so thanks mate
Installing this on Android device I went to my laptop to register. Found that this also works on my desktop {Linux Mint} so presumably works on Windows as well. Very useful if you haven't got Android.
I'm not saying I'm broke but I just went to the bank to withdraw my life savings and the cashier said "How would you like it, heads or tails?"

Thank you so much for this video. I now have access to all channels in Ireland on a stand alone tv using my fire-stick. The quality is excellent. I have also subscribed to your excellent channel !
This app is brilliant, I'm currently watching the Euros and this app is perfect unlike the BBC app which is behind on time and freezes sometimes, and the ITV App shows their ads before you can watch the scheduled programme
This is amazing! I don’t have an aerial sooo ain’t watched normal tv for ever haha! I got some of the channels apps but some don’t allow live viewing, only catch-up and then with the ones that do on other devices, they don’t allow you to cast 🤣 so frustrating.. I usually just use kodi to watch what I want but it doesn’t always work. So thank you for this, not a bad selection of channels especially the last one! My favourite haha pub tv! Omg that made me chuckle.. how cool! Haha! Feel like I’m actually in a pub! Can I ask.. what you recommend for watching boxing? I have sports on kodi but it never works .. 🤣😭
This is an app I'm definitely going to try out. Always wanted freeview to launch/create an boardband only tv service without needing an aerial.

I'm a brit living in North America. I have installed this to watch the six nations tomorrow. It works brilliant! No buffering, excellent quality and loads immediately. I have had trouble with other live tv apps not even being able to start streaming. Cheers!
How did you get it to work?
I’m using a DNS and when I try to open it, it tells me that I’m using a VPN/proxy and it won’t let me advance further than that.
@LFC1892KOP Have you set your VPN to UK location?
@@Mchampion4 I didn’t have a VPN service installed on my Amazon Fire TV cube. StrongDNS folks gave me the ability to install it. I will give it a go later today and see if it works.
The error message I received earlier was confusing because it read like it knew I was using something to attempt to gain access - meaning a VPN wouldn’t work also.

I have my VPN set for the UK and it allowed me to register but the screen stays black when I attempt to access a channel.
I've been using this for over a week now and I find it brilliant, especially as I don't live in the UK. With the European football championship starting, it's a.must, because, as you have said, IPTV is very unreliable. I'm using the free subscription. Excellent video Adam. Thanks. C'mon England. 🤞🤞👍👍

Went to the sign-up site listed in the pinned comment. Made sure to set my VPN to the UK as I am Canada based. After verifying my email, it brought me to a page asking for payment details, with the next step being the selection of a plan.
I'll stick to the service-that-cannot-be-named-on-UA-cam for accessing British content. Maybe if you're already in the UK, it's a viable alternative, but to those of us on the outside looking in, this might be a bid of a dodgy proposition.

This app in one fell swoop has solved all the issues the Shield TV has in the U.K!! Namely no free view or UKTV on it, now you can get it all! Flipping fantastic. Literally has now made the Shield TV a device truly capable of replacing your Sky or Virgin box. Along with all the other official apps and Apple TV now.

Cheers for this. I've just found this video, installed the app and signed up. Simple process and can easily now switch between terestrial channel on my Fire TV and not have to keep switching back to Sky.

Is it still working for you today at all? I have been using it for a few days now with no problem, but today the app refuses to connect to the internet, and the kapang website no longer loads, I'm assuming it has been shut down

@@DamoVit Sorry for late reply mate, it came back up eventually, although for the last few days the TV guide isn't working and just says "no program" on each channel, and last night all channels were showing test cards, seems to be up and down but a good app for free nonetheless

Nice one, just discovered your channel and already reaping the benefits. Installed on a Xgimi projector running Android TV, previously had issues getting ITV hub working, this solves the problem for live TV.
I've been using this for about a month now. Being in Canada, I've found it to be a really useful and reliable way to watch mainstream UK TV. Roll on the EURO'S!

Downloaded and signed up yesterday. Works really well. However ITV 2,3 and 4 all only showing a Testcard no streaming.

This has worked perfectly! I would like to know if there is a way to turn on the subtitles? There is a section under language settings > subtitles language > default but how do you actually turn it on?
Tried to load the app but after verication step it won't go on to next step. I live in spain on 4k max fire stick with VPN. Says I'm trying to Access from outside UK. Uninstalled the app and tried again. Same result??? Regards Steve

When I go to add a subscription and select the 1 month or 12 months it redirects me and nothing happens. I reload the page, nothing. Is this just me?

Hello from the other side of the pond--the US!!! Your covered EVERYTHING!!!! I've been searching for a solution to watch Gogglebox UK, as I am related to the Siddiquis!!!!
