dude I just got my digitakt (OG) today and was alread huffing and puffing at how to use this thing and you are a life saver today! can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Thanks for this great video! On the topic of controlling all parameters, in case you don't know about it, there is also a shortcut for the pattern reload that you're doing with Func+No: if you're holding TRK and adjusting parameters, you can hit No while still holding TRK to undo all the changes you made without having to do the extra step of Func+No later!
Looking into the dark world of Elektron products, (I’m planning to buy a Digitakt) and would like to thank you for this video found it very useful! 🙏🏽👍🏽🇬🇧
Getting started with Elektron machines is daunting and yeah, there is a steep learning curve. I started with an Analog 4 and Machinedrum MK2, but then went on to buy a Syntakt and then a Digitone. Getting my head around the Syntakt helped me a lot with the other Elektron machines. Reading the manuals is challenging but videos like this help a lot - I like to have a person there with me showing me what to do. I am a plodder and a slow learner but I feel I grasp these music machines a much better these days.
I just got mine delivered today. I've watched a few videos before so knew how to do programming of patterns and basic things on it. I'm going back and rewatching videos while actually having the machine in front of me, and doing what I see in the videos....I learn one new thing then I pause the video and get distracted for 30 minutes to an hour by it. The Elektron is unbelievably fun and I'm not even scratching the surface yet. I can't wait to load some of my own samples into it, but I'll get there in time. Really want to learn my way around it first.
That’s a pretty great approach to learning it! And also, a great method regarding samples - it’s fun to push the stock sounds as far as you can (and more importantly, figure out which ones you like & want to keep using!)
Thanks for a great tutorial. I got the Digitakt yesterday and this was a really good tutorial, going through the steps in logical order for learning the basics. Thanks!
This was very helpful! I was looking for a video that would help me just getting this box and turning it on, how to start a new project and how to find the samples. Bookmarking it so I can watch it again and follow along on my digitakt
Awesome!! Super happy to have helped you out. It can be daunting at first, but as you get used to the flow and commit stuff to memory, it becomes second nature.
Sounds great! It would be possible to do most of this on an Electribe 2 Sampler, but the road to get there would be a little different. I assume you have to program in volume accents, as the Digitakt does'nt have velocity sensitive pads.

So stoked for ya! Glad the videos are helpful :)

Oh damn that’s good to know! I definitely use it for momentary changes/builds so that will be perfect to use, thanks!
Thanks so much Daniel!! Bought yesterday a Digitone to add to my DT + Keystep 37. After your videos, i'm convinced is the best combo ever.
I got mine a few weeks ago and this is the first time it's made sense. Many thanks!!
Happy to have helped!! It can be pretty intimidating st first, but as long as you stick to it, it’ll all start to click.

Great tutorial! Very concise.
This seems like a powerful instrument.... Great set of videos! Hopefully at the end I'll know if this will be my next purchase . GAS is real haha
Thanks so much!! It's a really great device to have as a studio centerpiece IMO.
Cool i was wonder can you make a track out of your box like techno or minimal house? 😁 like your videos.
Thanks for watching! I’m not super familiar with the genre, but I’m sure it’s possible!
@@SlowHaste cool! Looking foreward😄
Easy subscription!
Thanks so much for the sub and the tip!!!
Thanks
Im wondering if over time you get irritated by having to work through the interface, or is it enjoyable in comparison to working on a PC?
I never get irritated by it, personally! Even though it's still a screen, I enjoy the tactility of controlling everything with knobs and buttons.
Thank u 🙏🏼
😎
Nice tutorial, but 2 commercials every 3 minutes makes it unwatchable...
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll see what I can do about that
@@SlowHaste I've got nothing against a commercial break, that's how it works. 👍🏼
