K M thats true, but the point of making a video on your skincare routine is to recommend products to people, and one of the products was were 50 dollars. Personally, I just dont have the coin to buy even one of the products. I understand that she does have the money to do it, and also she has very dry skin, but what is a good price to someone could be expensive to others.
Nikkie’s mom works in skin care hence the expensive products. It is true though that the expensive stuff often works better, unfortunately. Not when it comes to anti aging but for the rest of it.
Peyton Hutchens it would be better to seek a dermatologist than to take recommendations from a UA-cam video sksks. You should do the research for yourself because you know your budget she doesn’t ya know, plus she just uses what works for her not everything is gonna work for everyone.

Nope, I’ve been told I have gorgeous skin, and all I do is wash my face and put a drugstore lotion on.
I’ve been told that I’ve flawless smooth glowing skin numerous of time but my skincare only consist of a drugstore moisturizer and a vitamin E serum by body shop. It’s also very hard for me to get pimple 🤷🏻♀️

Anecia. jpg Equate has really good eye make up remover and they have a moisturizing facial cleanser (there's also a foaming one, but that makes my skin feel tight) that is just like Cerave. Also, there are a lot of oils you can use on your face that can be bought for fairly cheap. And I use the oils to remove the make up and then you just wash the oil off with your cleanser.
Anecia. jpg so I used the one that Nikkei used for her eyes, and it worked so well but then my mum said I got through it too quickly so I had to find a new brand. I went through simple, Nivea and multiple other brands, but they either didnt work, or they gave me an allergic reaction (could open my eyes fully after the Nivea one) through weeks of testing, the garnier eye makeup remover (the purple one I can’t be bothered to check lmao) and the Bobbi brown one are both amazing dupes. The garnier one is less than 5 pounds ( 7 dollars) and lasts for so long. Garnier is such a trustworthy brand and it’s really cheap.

You just have to learn how to do skincare with natural ingredients. I have a couple of aloe vera plants, honey, coconut oil, oats, turmeric and natural yogurt. I use this ingredients to mix up different "face masks". It works well for me and my skin is always clear. But I wear a full face of makeup like twice a year, so there's that.

Nah don’t kid yourself, makeup wipes rarely do the trick or if they do, you have to spend double the amount of time you’d spend if you used a makeup remover. They’re good to use at the end, to make sure all of your makeup got wiped off but alone ? Not effective.

I have a drugstore skin routine that has saved my dry skin:
- I start by removing my makeup with the burt's bees facial cleansing oil
- The I use the simple kind to skin non drying moisturizer cleanser
- Then I tone with the pixi glow toner
- I moisturize with the pond's dry skin cream (this has been a godsend for my dry skin and hasn't broken me out)
- Then if my skin is super dry I use the physicians formula Organic Bright Booster Oil Elixir
i honestly love the brand pond’s i use their makeup wipes everyday and
my acne cleared up i also have the moisturizer, and cream makeup remover. best brand ever

I'm obsessed with the Clinique "take the day off" cleansing balm. I've used so many makeup removers, but they had always dried/irritated my skin (I have really, really dry skin), but the Clinique balm would always leave my skin clean and moisturized!

Hey Nikki. Thank for sharing us how you take care of your skin. Your face came out smooth and moisturized.
I have Dermatographia, a rare skin condition that's often noted by the ability to "draw on the skin", but causes welts, hives, bumps, and redness. Because of this, I often find my skin very itchy and inflamed, which is terrible when I go to do my makeup and when I take it off. I turn very red and swollen when using harsh products to get my makeup off, and I usually walk out very very dry. So I typically just use a normal makeup remover wipe and drug store makeup remover, followed by a Doterra hydrating cream which helps restore all of the moisture and sooth my welted skin. The coolness and oils in the cream have saved my face from flaking and itching.

I recently bought that too! The sales associate told me (because we live in Canada and the air dries out my skin over here in the winter) that I can also use it as a body scrub in the shower. I looooooove it. It's great at exfoiliating dry skin. And it smellssss so good in the hot shower. 🙌☕

My favorite skin care product is actually homemade. It is a green tea and apple cider vinegar toner and it has helped me so much this year! It takes away the redness of my acne and balances the PH in my skin.

Alissa Dawn you can do a drug store version for the same effect. You don't need high end products to get the job done
You honestly can do the same with natural products. I wouldn't skimp on eye makeup remover because that can be a bitch to get off, but Neutrogena makes a decent $6 bottle. As for moisturizer. Look for something like Shea butter or coco butter because real ones run like 30 bucks for an oz. And they have additives. Just research your skin type. You might be able to have better skin just going to the grocery story. 😅

Shelby Lynne uhm... no... drugstore skin care can be just as good as a high end one, it just depends on the products. A higher price tag doesn't always mean it's better.
Some people can't afford expensive products like that, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to want help from professionals such as Nikki regarding their skin care. Everybody wants a bit of advice. It's hard when you can't afford things like that.
