While I am a diehard Priest fan and will always hold them as my favorite band, Lynyrd Skynyrd was not a powerless man nor band...Lynyrd was indeed great.
A lot of metalheads wore that type of cloths. It was the look of metal, and normal at the time. That's how it was in the 80's. It was a fashion trend. Rob was also well respected in the industry. So nobody suspected anything. And still nobody knew until he came out like 12 years later.
