Outstanding. I'm pretty new to Unreal, but already done several of your tutorial. I'm going to do this over the weekend. Keep up the excellent work, people like me really appreciate it.
This is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !! I've never watched anyone use unreal engine before, it's always felt so complicated and yet you really simplified the interface and made me want to try it! Thank you for teaching me that making a game is certainly possible for anyone!
The timing of this couldn't be more perfect! I just started learning UE5 coming from making short films with Blender! I've always wanted to make a game connected to the places and stories in my shorts. I'm hoping this will allow me to, quicker than on my own. This is so amazing, I can't wait to complete it!
Could you help me by showing me some tricks and how you add your models from (blender/zbrush/maya) to ue5 cuz I’m new there hard to understand by tutorials (I’m trying make a game)
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KILL THE AI AFTER ADDING NEW CHARACTER MODEL READ THIS: Once the character model is in your content browser, double click on the model to open it up. I changed the Default animation rig, LOD settings, and Physics Asset to a Mannequin themed item. Now it works.

really appreciate the videos theyre always great to learn from, i do have a suggestion for the stop seeing player function. instead of putting it on the event begin play you can do a sequence off of the pawn sensing event and call it there with a longer timer and not looping so the ai doesnt immediately give up when you walk behind an object and it will still chase you for a defined amount of time since it last saw you instead of constantly looping off the begin play
OMG, thank you for the tip. With event begin play my ai didn't chase me at all but after your tip of adding it on on seen with sequence help me up. Thank you for the tip.

Hello, very good tutorial, you earned a sub, when I have my computer I'm going to try to do it, but also if you could do a second part please where you show how to make that when you hide in the face of the AI it dosen't lose you and add something else so that the video is not just that like an escape system or grabbing different objects or surviving such a time
This is a really good tutorial, the only thing I don't like is the fact that one of the "Free assets" packs in the description costs about 35$, which isn't exactly free :P . Oh well, time to make some semi functional map :P
Man i learn a lot of unreal with you, but my concern is about to guide step by step, functions on blueprints, like some AI isolated with meshes, you know? but you make a great explanation helped me a lot, thanks and congrats from Brazil!
I love the videos, but sadly they're way too fast and I need to press pause a lot of times because several interactions are done in several seconds... but I love it, keep up the good work.
First of all, nicely done video, simple and straight to the point. I do have a question though, when you put that skeletal mesh in a box to use as a reference object, couldn't that have been any other object or does it specifically needs to be a skeletal mesh? I mean, why not use a box, or arrow, or anything that is just a reference to the location where the player character will be moved to? Skeletal mesh seams kind of expensive resource wise, hence my question.
Are you also able to make those tutorials more realistic. every normal dev know that this is not efficient. i mean you usually make a Blueprint interface for interactables like doors or pick up items (so you don't have to write the same code over and over again)
hey man great tutorial but is it a problem if my ai attacks me but its further then your. and its only a red sphere idk if thats a problem or not but pls help cause i cant sleep without fixing it
