However, I am afraid that heat will damage my hair in the long run. How often do you recommend I blow dry my hair? Should I use cool air instead?

I think you should wear a shower cap especially when taking a shower since that water rinses out the nutrients you need for your hair to grow so you should wear a shower cap and only use water on your hair if its in your routine

Take a strand of hair and drop it in a warm cup of water and wait after 3-5 minutes and if the srand is on top then you have low, if it is in the middle its medium or normal, if its at the bottom it is high porosity.

The word conditioner is overused in general n is pissed me n confuses me
Question - After you wash your hair with shampoo, can't I just put in the leave-in conditioner, or do I have to put in the wash-out conditioner first.
I’d recommend putting in washout conditioner and rinsing it out first.
This will make your hair more hydrated instead of just doing one conditioner
