What are your thoughts on Cam Jordan’s comments?
I think Ben should be grateful for the organization and players he has played with, and the same goes for Eli. If the roles were reversed, the situation would be different
I think Jordan needs to focus on his craft and not worry about a hall of fame QB who will light up his secondary.

The Saints play the Steelers every four or so years. Jordan has been in the league since 2011. He hasn't played Ben enough to understand just how great he is. Cameron will get it this week, especially after calling Ben out. Ask any Raven or Brown or Bengal who has had to face Ben twice a year, and even if he hates him, he'll admit Ben is a top 5er who's going to the HOF.

Ben Rich yep. He just hasn’t had much help until now. Which is a testament to how critical he’s been for our defense since he’s been here. He consistently has put tremendous pressure on quarterbacks since being here. So yea. He’s a beast. Now he’s got monsters to accompany him.

Big Ben had multiple 500+ yard games, had 6 TDs in a single game before, best Offensive Rookie of the year award, led the league twice, & career stats comparable to many QBs in the HOF who played in similar era, & ofc the 2 SBs for sure a HOF
He had 6 TD's is back to back games before. The only QB in the NFL to ever do that. That's 12 TD's and almost 900 yards in two consecutive games. Cam Jordan is a clown. Should shut his pie hole. That said, he's perfect for ESPN, who caters to mouth breathers like him.

You could make a good argument that this year has been a bad year fro him though. Ya he's second in yards, but he also has the most attempts. Russell Wilson has the least pass attempts with 203 less then Roethlesburger, but Wilson has one more td and 9 less picks. So yards on it's own isn't a solid argument, definitely need TDs, wins, low turnovers, etc.

You forgot to mention Matt Ryan who is number 5 of this era. #6 Big Ben, #7 Philip Rivers and Eli is lower, perhaps much lower. He is just 5% better than the average quarterback. All the others are more than 50% better than average and have earned their induction.

*Saints #1 defense in the last 5 games???* This is smoking mirrors because of their last five offensive opponents...Against the Panthers, Bucs, Cowboys, Falcons, & Eagles. There are no HOF QB candidates on any of these teams. ALL of these teams were NFC opponents (3 well-known division opponents for the Saints); Proven TE's of the group are Olsen & Ertz. WR's that played against the Saints with HOF promise: Julio Jones. Bottom line, the Steelers will be the first TRUE test of the Saints defense all year. The Saint's defense will face 4 of the 5 available offensive Pro Bowl selectees (Brown, DeCastro, Pouncey, & Villanueva). AND...you can't help but think that Smith-Schuster, Roethlisberger, and McDonald register much higher than the previous 5 competitors and could have easily filled a Pro Bowl spot without questions.

See, you can't just count rings only. You have to count body of work and the way they play over a extended period of time. Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Nick Foles, Joe Flacco, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer. You know what all those names have in common? They are all QB's with 1 Superbowl ring each in the last 20 years. Are they all in the same conversation as being equally good?

Look at the records of Manning an Rodgers teams without them...WELL below .500 where the steelers are 11-8 without Ben since he was a starter. Ben played against 2 offenses in the SB that averaged 30 points a game. Steelers won both games with Ben having 1 TD pass. (0 in the first win and 1 in the last seconds of the 2nd win)

Did you guys watch the 07 Superbowl? Eli got unbelievably lucky on that last drive. As in God himself said nope Patriots your not going undefeated. He threw a pass to a defenders hands like he was trying to complete it to him on the last drive and then later the helmet catch play which is got to be one of the most improbable plays I have seen from snap to completion.

Ben is the only QB in this league that could play in the 70s or 80s as his style is literally how QBs we're back in the day... He even has Ray Lewis's respect for Christ sake. On the heard with Colin cowherd Ray Lewis was asked about big Ben and had this to say. "He's like an old school type of football player." And this as well "me and Ben used to have a thing where I would be standing on my side of the field and he would be standing on his side of the field, and while looking at each other we'd bow our heads with our hands over our hearts and wish each other luck in the game, may the best man win."

The only argument with Ben is whether he is 2nd or 3rd ballot HoF. Rivers is not a HoF QB. He's exciting and disruptive on the field, but doesn't produce when it matters.

Plenty of elite-level QBs in the Hall of Fame with the same resume. Tarkenton, Fouts, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, etc. Not to mention Peyton for the majority of his playoff career, Elway for the majority of his playoff career.

Big Ben has had HoF receivers, lineman and running backs. Also had members of defense which are HoFers or future. Are you kidding? Dude deserves the least credit for the success of the Steelers over the course of the Tomlinson era compared to other quarterbacks of this era.
