I Love this song. It DOES have a follow up song called 'I Know You're Out There Somewhere'
yes, and the film clip continues to story
Love both songs
I'll second and third this.
I love that song too
Song came out in 85.. When I was a senior in high school.. Those were great days.. Better then sadly.. Actually she's the one dreaming about how she let him get away.. Setlled for family and less and lost her love
Ok, now watch the SEQUEL, "I Know You're Out There Somewhere."
"I know you are out there" is the follow up to this song. This video is the old girlfriend reminiscing the relationship to the Moodies frontman Justin Hayward. The next video shows Hayward searching for her after he spots her after the concert, but was forced away.
They were finally inducted into the hall of fame in 2018. Great song! Yes, more Moody India! ❤️
This song always makes me think of my Mom. She was a Mod in the 60s and looked like this woman in the video. She passed 5 years ago. I can't watch this without crying.
I am a huge Moody Blues fan and this is my favorite! Justin Heyward can sing his behind off! The Story In Your Eyes is another grear one.
Absolutely.
HI.........won the BILLBOARD award for best group video in 1986
Yes, it's about lost love.. It reminds me of the only girl I truly loved, the one who truly loved me just for being me... This song always makes me wonder if she ever thinks about me and hearing it never fails to make me to shed a tear.
Truth. I'm 72 and it still hurts. Peace and Love ptah31.
I think of my first real crush. I still love her, and I KNOW she remembers me.
'Nights in White Satin' is a classic. 'Singer in a Rock n Roll Band' and 'Question' are a couple of good ones, also. They were very prolific.
I love Justin Haywards voice. So calmimg yet so.powerful when it needs to be
Moody Blues are legendary! A treasure.
One of the best songs ever by one of the best bands ever!
I've always loved this song. The video makes me sad bc I had a very similar thing happen to me. This video just choked me up. I never forgot about him. Ever.
I remember this song from 1986. Heard this song on the radio a lot that year.
Your facial expressions and head dancing to the music is great
I have watched this reaction video 3x times now. Thank you for filming this.
I'm so glad you're doing the Moody Blues. It is one of their more recent hits (1986). I think it's one of their best along with Ï know you're out there somewhere".
16 studio albums and numerous solo albums from the band. the Moodies are the true masters of their craft
Another great group that sent my music pallet in a new direction, back in '72.
These old songs takes me back to good times
You're so fun to watch India, I really enjoy your reactions. You should have WAY more subscribers. I watch a bunch of different reactors and you are by far one of the best!!!
Who doesn’t wish we could go back in time for the “ one “ who got away ?
I have
Every . Single . Day .
Love the song and your reaction.
I had the great fortune of seeing them in concert twice in the seventies in Chicago and they put on a fantastic performance. ❤
India ❤️s music!
It's Gr8 to re-experience all this awesome music with u
✌🏼😎👍🏼
I'm loving all this Moodies music!!!
This song was a hit when I was in high school. Such a bittersweet feel to the song.
We used to go see them in concert every year. Beautiful music.
Delightful watching you groove to my favorite band. Their 7 theme albums were IT!
One of my favorite bands ever. You have great taste in music and might be my new favorite person.
I love seeing my generation and younger reacting to The Moody Blues. Their music is timeless.
LOVE this song!
Moody Blues, perhaps the greatest under rated rock band of all time. Let see your reaction to ; I know your out there somewhere"
India! There is a part 2 to the storyline in Wildest Dreams, and here it is!
Know You're Out There Somewhere'
This song celebrates and, at the same time, relates the saddness of what youth was and how it could affect your future if you arent paying attention to whats in front of you. Like the saying cant see the forest for the trees. Great lovely face while listening India. Yeah....love dem songs
Lovely to see you my friend. It’s a classic hit.
I love this era of Moody Blues!
Thank you!!! From 2 very happy ladies. My sister and me lost touch 32 year ago and would think of her when I heard this. I played it to her when we reunited, what a joyous time that was. It's just about love. Thank you India for making me smile xxx
India my wife gave me the song "Next to me" by Emile Sande for my 15th year of sobriety. Made me tear up girl...... Didn't realize she felt this way.
Best concert I Ever attended was Moody Blues. They were true professionals, They played each song the way they recorded it...every time.
Oh, i remember this ! Thanks ❤
I was born in 1991 but my bad had had the moody blues all time hits cd. This is a huge part of my childhood. Most kids today never heard of them or wouldn’t even like them. This is my childhood. Instant sub. I love older blues so much.
But the music...Justin Heyward is wonderful. When he drops to that low note - wow!
The sound of Justin Hayward's voice relaxes me
That spot is my absolute favorite part of the song.
Bloody awesome band. So much great music. So many fine pop songs. The mighty Moodies.
This is an absolutely beautiful song.
Their chart placement over the years doesn't do credit to how great many of their songs were. They were a fairly progressive band and tended to fall between the cracks of musical taste. I suppose a testament to their overall strength is that 50 years later people are able to find it worthwhile react to their music - like yourself.
70 million records sold = falling through the cracks of musical taste?
For some reason I've always loved this video.
The Voice, Gemini Dream, Nights in white satin, and The story in your eyes all great songs by The Moody Blues
This is one of my favorite Moody songs. BIG THUMBS UP!
OH MAN! I had completely forgot about this song....thank you again India!!!!
India, there's a sequel called "I Know You're Out There Somewhere". Thanks for reacting. This is one of my favorite songs.
Your reaction is really fun to watch and you have great interpretation of the song.
Love your reactions! Please do more Moody Blues. My favorite song of theirs is Ride My See-Saw.
I call this type of song "Music to pick your emotional scabs by." Just rip the would back open.
Oh, and the man giving her the album is Elton John. Check out his Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. WOW!
Your facial expressions alone are priceless . So happy you enjoy The Moody Blues .
The story continues in their next released song, "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" you should look that one up.
Wow. Brought some good memories... Thanks. Wow, wow.
Thanks for reacting to my favorite Moody Blues song!
This is a good song, but the best song on the album is The Other Side Of Life. It is a fantastic song.
I remember skies, reflected in your eyes.... I'm on a blanket under a big tree with my first girlfriend. This really takes me back.
First album I ever bought was a Moody Blues album. One of my favorite bands. Favorite song by them "It's Up To You".
You do an amazing job and you have a gift to speak to the music and make people feel good about the music that they love!
I love this song. I was like 5 yrs old when it came out but heard it in Walgreens the other day and remembered it
This song brings back bittersweet memories. It was my favorite of theirs then and now. Gotta dig that album out NOW!
This was such a beautiful Song. I cried when I saw it in the 1980's because I'm sure everyone can identify with what Justin is singing. These guys are true legends. Justin wasn't an "Original" Group Member, he joined after Denny Laine left to Join Paul McCartney & Wings who Sang Lead on their Breakthrough Hit "Go Now". If you can check that song out too. In the UK (even to this day), it's a common practice for British Artists to "Cover" obscure R & B Songs. The Original was done by Bessie Banks that was produced by the late Jerry Lieber & Mike Stoller who were the First successful Songwriting Team in Music who wrote all kinds of Songs for The Coasters (Charlie Brown), The Drifters (There Goes My Baby) and the "Original Version of Hound Dog by Willie Mae Big Mama Thornton. Justin was to The Moody Blues what Peter Cetera was to Chicago, the undisputed Star but unlike Peter who "Left" Justin Stayed. He wrote or Co Wrote many of their Hits. The Poster you see of Budd y Holly isn't surprising because he influenced alot of Folks like The Beatles (an d now Paul McCartney Owns Hit Song Catalogue) not to mention The Rolling Stones. This was because he wrote all of his hits with three basic Chords that you learn when learning The Guitar. The Fashions that they are wearing was inspired by Carnaby Street which is a Legendary Street in London where the Beatles were sent when they got their First Suits as part of a Image Makeover The Supremes also wore Outfits from Carnaby Street on The Supremes A Go Go Album in the 1960's as well. The Fellow playing The Tambourine is Ray Peterson who unfortunately died. He also played the Flute Solo on Nights In White Satin. Also check him out Dancing in "Quieston".
Not Peterson ... It's Thomas .
Appreciate you listening to the entire song without interruption. Outstanding job sister
this was about the time they were fighting one of their members on Court TV. Great song. Had a chance to see them around this time. They were so synth-oriented. When I hear a bass guitar, I want it to be the bass, not a keyboard. Good choice for an updated era of them. May I suggest "Ride my see-saw."
It's Keyboardist Patrick Moraz, and the Court T.V. Thing is in 1992.
Now go watch part II. "I know youre out there somewhere"
Never saw the video before. They used to open their concerts with this & Gemini Dream.
Tugs at ya a little ... Love MoodyBlues big thumbs up more please! live at Red Rocks is a Great place to start
So glad that you'd give a beautiful song like this a chance! You are righteous!
💖💖 serious ear worm for me. Love it.
I loved this when I was a kid 😍
although not 1 of the core 7 albums, the Moodies are music heaven! all 16 studio albums are a must listen too
One of my favorites.
Great reaction! I feel like "I Know Your Out There Somewhere" is the second part.
Love indias reaction to the songs I like.
Love your insight and reactions
Well said, girl. Very perceptive of you. Love your facial expressions of recognition in the music message. You get it.
Excellent video! Thanks for posting. 😃
Love how you live the song in your emotions.
The Moody Blues...This is such a great song with a wonderful story line. You should do the "sequel" to this song "I Know You're Out There Somewhere". My dad first introduced me to The MB's back in the early 80's when I heard "The Voice". Another great one to do a reaction to.
One of my favorites. Thanks, India! Edit: you're right, India. 30 years, I had no idea.
It isn't just him remembering, but her too. She let him go, and he moved on. But they still remember each other.
They did get back together three years later. And married and are still together today, The more the band was on the road doing gigs he couldn't commit to her long term until they finished touring.
In case you don't know Nights in white satin are the sheets she gave him for his bed.
The musicality is off-the-chart.
He was not too busy he was swept away by the people around him. And yes do I know You’re Out there Somewhere. The follow up song. This was from the Moodies had a revival/comeback in their career. The early albums, called The Core 7, are not Pop songs, but Progressive Rock & much different. She’s looking a copy of In Search Of The Lost Chord from that era. There’s a song on it called The Actor. No video so try and find the original album version. My fave is The Story In Your Eyes, but Question, I’m A Singer In A Rock and Roll Band & Ride My Seesaw we’re huge hits & still are today. Nights In White Satin is a classic! I’d do that one next. It never gets/got old.
Question was a song by the Moody Blues
that caught my awareness while i was young
Loved your reaction to this.
I'm a Metalhead through n through, and I enjoy a wide variety of music from different genre's too.
I had loved this song since it first came out in 1986 when I was a Jr in HS.
This song still holds in my heart, and still makes me tear up a bit.
You are absolutely right. It is a song about lost love, the love that got away.
Only, if it were me in the end, nothing would have held me from running to my Soul Mate, love of my life.
Nothing, and for me, the ending of this video is the tragedy of the song.
I believe here is something of a follow up video continuing this story, but be abuse of plain old fate, they still can't connect.
I just can't remember the song title, something about "I know where you are" or close to those lines..
the moodys just keep getting better and better.
🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Once apron a time, in your wildest dreams! WOW!
I am so glad you reacted to this!! A great song! There is a sequel to this song called "I Know You're Out there Somewhere"....just to let you know ;)
I love this!
Sometimes when you're viewing a video and I know something good is coming up, I'm like "Don't blink your eyes! Don't look away!"
The Moody Blues are AWESOME! and have been for years! I think you would really enjoy their song "Voices in the Sky".
Moody Blues had wonderful music
This one's a heartbreaker.
Loved you grooving to the music!
We are dreaming of Justin Hayward, in our wildest dreams.
Another song of similar feeling is The Kinks, Come Dancing. Then read about his sister after watching the video.
That's also a really catchy song, if also quite naff and very much dated in the 80s. I think the video of that is a bit less cringe worthy than this one if I remember right? I'm going to search it out now...
Don't get me wrong, The Moody Blues and The Kinks are two of my all time favourite groups. For both I love their earlier songs more, but even their later songs were much better than most of the stuff out there at the time. I don't know if it's cause I got into both in the late 90s and had never seen the music videos for these songs until early/mid 2000s, so never grew up with them, but I find these videos difficult to watch because of the cringe factor!
But still, you can't blame either when naffness was the video trend at the time, and in the end it's the music that counts!
