Well heck, I'm already over a month in on dry "week". Been on an elimination diet for medical reasons, and haven't had a drop of whiskey in way too long. Me and the wife (who's doing this with me) are hoping to add it back in soon, probably when the rest of you are going dry. Good luck to y'all!

Love that you've finally gotten around to 291. Their rye is my favorite rye I've ever had - it's started me down the road of liking ryes more than bourbons
291 distillery isn't all too far from my house. And yet I've never tried it. Definitely gonna have to go try a bottle soon.
Personal opinion, I could not get into this whiskey. The aspen impact is very sharp and bitter. I got this bottle trading Stranahan Blue Peak, also didn’t love. For the money, I would never buy this 291. I’d recommend try before you buy.

I did some work on the owners first gen Dodge truck when he first started. Never tried but proud of him and my buddy at Axe. 719 representatives

If the barrel is around 50 gallons, that's like around 250 bottles a barrel for 750ml, for quarts it's like 200

Perfect timing for the dry week! There is a Pelecan Brewing event I will be attending on the 11th. I can save some money by not bringing home a bunch of beer that I won't be able to drink for a week haha
