Fun fact: I’m in the US military stationed in the UK and the CEO of Adnams is our honorary squadron commander. It’s a pretty regular practice for USAF military units to have one.
Adnams has been going as a brewer since 1872 so they do have a head start on you Rex. The system of public houses (pubs) means many breweries own a lot of pubs and Inns hence the large business portfolio, it's literally there to provide a market for their beer. They started distilling relatively recently though.
Oh God I needed that up beat RWF... Nothing lifts my day like watching you guys get all excited and happy when doing tastings. Cheers MB's. Happy Friday!
I use to live in the Partland area. Mcmenamins was great when they where small and remodeled cool historic building into bars and restaurants. Then they got a little big for their britches. And went on to many directions as once.
How long does it take for a bottle of Scotch whisky to open up after the cork is poppet ? This has become a very interesting topic of exploration for me as some whiskies seem to open up to a beautiful profile in just 2 months and yet others seem almost pour down the drain in the first year and then after two years of being open and half bottle its a total transformation. This seems totally illogical but I have been experiencing this multiple times and cannot find ant video presentations on the subject. Can you shed any light on this phenomena and or produce a video presentation on this hard to find subject?....Thank you for all your great presentations thus far....Slainte!
The only thing that excited me during this episode was the Kentucky spirit cocktail I mixed using some BAI boost blackberry following a Glencarin comparison of Four Roses Small Batch Select and Calumet Farms 14 year. Both are no doubt about it from same Four Rose's distillery
Here's to babingo. If you babingo, may you babingo a friend, a heart, and a drink. And if you babingo with us, bring a bottle of this babingus that we love so much. Babingo. And also with you.
Im confused. This being my whiskey culture reference is it commen to have sound/frequency anecdotes in whiskey or is it just here. Either way, from a audio engineer perspective I totally love it. Im big into vaping and not everyone understands those references in taste but they seem so obvious.
Witchcraft! Please help. I recently got a Talisker Skye. I like it a lot, but something truly strange is afoot; the smell and taste periodically disappears. I’ve also had my wife smell it and she agrees. It happens both in the bottle and the glass. One day it’s wonderful Talisker the next nothing (I still smell the alcohol though) and then again the next day it’s back. Yesterday it happened between two sips. First sip: everything goes according to plan, the next sip could have been vodka and then the third sip smell and taste are all back. Am I going insane or am I doing something wrong?
Hey guys, I'm new to the channel and the few videos I've seen, I love your content. How do y'all feel about Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack and Even Williams 1792? I've recently purchased both and thought they were great bourbon.
Daniel i was in the liquor store here in Virginia and saw a whiskey that was labeled as confiscated can you elaborate on what it means thanks and love you guys
I visited the English whisky distillery and found out that they get their peat from Wales as cutting peat is banned in areas of special scientific interest.
Hot take, but Daniel's best RWF intro will never be as good as Rex's best and it comes down to the words. Rex's "...go through and give first impressions on several different whiskeys" will always outclass Daniel's "...go through and sample a few things/whiskeys". Likewise, Rex's "These aren't necessarily large brands, sometimes they are....." is a more accurate description than Daniel's "Some of these are large brands...". But hey Daniel, if you're comfortable with being "2nd best".....that's none of my business......
Cant wait for the review of Coors Whisky Five Trail. Like, literally. Cuz you 2 guys refuse to accept free whisky anymore. Take about business model? Crowdsourced and crowdfunded, with a rule against sending in free supplies.

If you're at based at Mildenhall the St George's Whisky Distillery is half an hour away on the other side of Thetford. Give it a visit!
@@samuel_excels Been there several times! Used to live about 20 minutes from there.
@@Pyraxxis Yay! My family live pretty close to the distillery too, I usually pop into the distillery when I visit them. 😄
GOOD MORNING YOU MB'S... 🥃
TGIRWF...
Strap on the bingus and go for the bingo! That's a tee-shirt
Talk to my wife about that!
When I requested the Anull she said "Hey! I'm not strapping on the bingus to go for your bingo!"
HeyOooO!
The English has a fabulous line of whiskeys.

Woohoo. Question how much cheaper is used barrel instead of new. Just wondering.
"Welcome to the Babingo Vault. I'm Babingus..."

Good morning Magnificent Bastards!
Had these since 2018, keep in mind they are one of the biggest UK brewers long before they entered spirits….bottle wine & gin too
The only thing that excited me during this episode was the Kentucky spirit cocktail I mixed using some BAI boost blackberry following a Glencarin comparison of Four Roses Small Batch Select and Calumet Farms 14 year. Both are no doubt about it from same Four Rose's distillery
Yes, it's a Kentucky Spirit single barrel 101
Did.. Uh, did Rex just successfully mooch a turn on the intro???
Here's to babingo. If you babingo, may you babingo a friend, a heart, and a drink. And if you babingo with us, bring a bottle of this babingus that we love so much.

Am I going insane or am I doing something wrong?
Hard to say .
Purchase another bottle and see if it happens again.
I've never run into what you're experiencing with Skye.
I wouldn't fret
Everyone knows you never go full babingo!
Knew if I scrolled a little someone would have beaten me to it! ;)
thats the next whiskey line. Full Babingo
Adnams ale is the cheapest pint you can buy at the pub. Which is interesting that they made a decent whisky

Dammit Daniel, now i have to hunt down something from The English
Daniel i was in the liquor store here in Virginia and saw a whiskey that was labeled as confiscated can you elaborate on what it means thanks and love you guys
What's the trouble with tribbles? You never go full babingo...
I miss emma's addition to the back wall ..i keep looking to see if she struck again ...damnit....
I visited the English whisky distillery and found out that they get their peat from Wales as cutting peat is banned in areas of special scientific interest.
"You verb a lot of things that aren't meant to be."
The irony...
There's no trouble with those trebles
So, if those that send whiskey are 'Magnificent Bastards', are those of us that haven't sent one 'Rat Bastards'?
have you guys evr tasted the dutch whisky....CLEY?
You never go full Babingo!! 😤
You never go full bahbingo
Nice one guys

😎🥃👍
You should do the intro as a round. At least twice through each though
When are you guys going to respond to Matt Porter, the World's Greatest Whiskey Taster? 🤔
Star Trek whiskey: The Trouble with Trebles?
I am thirsty suddenly
Every time Daniel says "In fearry" my iPad thinks he's saying "Hey Siri..." ;)
STAKES! STAKES! Steaks?
TGIF
Can't wait till you guys try jack Daniel's new whiskey gonna feel the burn
Because Jack Daniels is pure shyte
Ever try Te bheag
Does MCclellands make the subpar Scotch for a particular Market or is that just the best they can do
McClellands doesn't make any Whisky, it's just a producer's label for 3yo whiskies from more prestigious distillers.
Charmin Chocolate Cake? Did I hear that right? Lol. Kinda papery. Kinda bitter.
I would love to see Rex and Daniel's quintessential 5 whisk(e)ys that could be found in their home at anytime

Wee
Not rare for me 🤣
