I'm old, I'll take the 'bota 😂
lol you ain’t old!
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer I'll still take the 'boty 🤣
And for anyone on a string shoe budget like me, just buy a used midsize ATV and a 4x6ft trailer.
You'll be amazed at the amount of work you can do with this setup.
Keep on making videos man. My kids (2,5,7) love your show so much they'll spend all day doing farm work then ask if they can watch your videos. Also, when we go to someone else's farm they ask "ARE WE GOING TO STONEY RIDGE FARMS?!?!?" Then I "break their hearts" by telling them no.
I definitely miss these sort of videos! Ready to see more vehicle related content!
Your type of farming is a dream for us Canadians. We have one run down tractor, a 2nd hand quad, no building to store old well worn hay equipment, or hay. It's a rougher life up here, but we have one thing in common, we love farming❤❤
Cant go wrong with the Side by sides.
Josh, always great content. Thanks for your time
Have you ever encountered any issues with the Honda side x sides longer wheel base?
I love it Brother!!! I'm 50yrs old and I bleed honda red. I've been riding Honda's since I was 5yrs old, u can't beat a Honda. I have never had a problem with one in all my years riding them. Just normal service.
More stuff!
Awesome and outstanding as always
Most of my side-by-side experience is with a Polaris Ranger. Definitely useful for small loads, carrying a chainsaw or some smaller tools (stuff where a pickup would be overkill, that said, a kei truck would also be a good choice for most tasks where you would use a side-by-side).
I like both of the sis by sides. They both serve a purpose. You explained that very well Josh. Hope you are doing well brother. Love what you do, God Bless.
thanks for the info. just looked at the canam's . have akabota. love it as well.
Awesome video buddy oh the kubota is up there with the Honda pioneer 1000-6 I looked at them and the one I seen just like that was around 22 grand. Keep upnthe great work buddy
Thanks 👍
Hey brother, love your stuff keep up the great work
Strong made atv makes great Honda atv racks
I love my foreman. It’s about 12 years old but runs perfectly.
I live in a small farming community and for a lot of people here, side by sides are their daily driver. 🙂
For the hassle you get with Hondas screwy, jerky transmission just get one of the '23 or newer can am outlander pros. I just sold my 18 outlander 570 and got a '23 outlander pro hd7 xu for $8600 out the door. It will out pull, haul, any other brand, and with normal (easy to do) maintenance, it will go toe to toe with a honda, suzuki, or Yamaha. They also have more suspension travel and ground clearance than any other quad it that class. With that said, hondas are bullet proof, but I'd rather have a mid level quad that can do more work and still be a blast to trail ride.
Great video of all the machines and why you use them and for what.
might have to look at them!
Excellent presentation!
I say one with roll over protection
You can never go wrong with buying a Honda, Built to last.
Amen!
Great video Josh! Lots to consider for a piece of land! Personally I was not a Kubota fan, but to each their own! Love the progress on the homestead! Hopefully we can do another trail ride soon! Cheers brother! Thanks.
the Kubota serves a purpose.....and that purpose is keeping farm help from ripping up the property and hurting themselves really. I feel like something is wrong with mine...it's so slow...feels like something is dragging
A good learning video 👍🏼👊🏻
It’s easy you just go to the Can-Am dealership and get the 1000 renegade😃
I used to race four wheelers. I had two of those.
U can’t ever go wrong with the workhorse kubota
I love my 1000 CF Moto. All terrain utility vehicle. Good machine for great price . More accessories for your money ie like a sheild to protect your tranny which Polaris doesn't have as a standard feature.
You can only drive one at a time…lol. To many toys Josh…😁
my brother...every machine here has a purpose....we aren't out building fences and working with multiple people every day, but having at least 2 atvs is super helpful....and one side by side really helps out also. The 2rd atv was bought for my ex.....and she's no longer here unfortunately...so it's my cruiser
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer I’m only joking with ya. 😂
I love botas
We went with the CanAm sidebysides on our 90 acre farm down the road from yall… a 2seater Commander 1000 and a 6 seater Defender… love them. But definitely need a 4wheeler and considering the Hondas… thanks for the review. Been riding Honda 2 wheelers since the 70’s and love em all…
Thanks for the Eval.
Bota is cool
Good video today
I have the 2016 pioneer 1000 3p(first yearthey came out with the 1000). I have done things with it that I probably shouldn't have, but it has never let me down.
Hey Josh thank you for the video and explaining things the way you did too woo
WooooooooooHeeeeeeeeHeeeeeeeeee!!!!Alright!🤗
Check out the new Kubota 1130 .. 6 foot bed.. remove all the sides..
video coming out on that machine this tuesday!! Might start working with Kubota showing these new machines the X series at work!
Nice info 😊
The tailgate on the red honda could be a seat while taking a break but that's about all I would use it for
How to make a million farming? Start with 2 million, and buy some equipment. You''ll be down to 1 million in no time. :) For a quad, I'm looking in the 2-4K range. You have done a great job of managing your money, especially through a divorce.
If my two years of planning works out this summer. I will need a Honda side by side like yours. Hope they offer a SRF discount. 🚜-Woooo!!
Nice god bless

👍
Honda.... I agree that their ATV/UTV/Motorcycles are quality! However, in my experience they have slipped in the quality of their cars. Toyota has left them behind.
I have a wheel barrow with automatic transmission, maximum speed 2mph
Do a farm tour 2024 video
I thought this video was at a dealership
Stoney Ridge dealership
Can you give an update on how your tym tractors are holding up?
yessir...more coming on this soon for sure. And they're all doing great fyi! Great machines so far!
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer how would you say they compare to the big name brands?
Like you said in your last Video Josh you have to much stuff your words not mine brother. I also have to much stuff.
What atv would you use to put a front bucket on? And run farming implements on the back of?
NONE OF THEM!!!!! I had a loader system on one of my atv's and it's a horrible idea...spend the money and get a compact or subcompact tractor v's trying to use an ATV. Once I installed the loader system on my ATV it was completely useless...use an ATV for light duty stuff...tractor for heavy duty stuff
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer what if the turaine will not allow for a tractor but only a ATV and or UTV? What would you suggest then?
If you have a fifty cal , show us! Or can't you show pew pews?😅
Can you do a video on your equipment to make video for UA-cam? Camera, microphone and editing stuff?
I can tell you what I use.....but that kinda content really doesn't do very well on the channel...most folks dont' care. I use GoPro Hero 10, DJI Mavic Pro 2 and Adobe Premier pro for editing. Hope that helps ya!
I use a chevy 4x4 on the farm toys wont do the job
Question regarding CVT or trans with gears: I see your land seems fairly flat. I have a sizable piece with some step (30/40 deg) terrain. I have been told that the CVT's aren't the best at hold back when descending steep grades as a lower gear in a non-CVT. Any experiences??
Looks like the current MSRP for the Kubota RTV-X1140 starts at $20,500
I'm getting ready to retire. 😮😮😮😮
60 Mph you get to the job faster and done faster.🤣
Does Ford sell a side by side ?
William 1:49
My Polaris 350 2 stroke 4x4 eats ass
Wow, I think you have plenty of stuff, adult toys. You do awesome work and have a good work ethic but just my opinion to much stuff.
you might be ATV "poor"?!😏
What happened to your other dog?
watch the livestream the I did about my marriage the other day, I explain it there a little bit. Lexi is no longer on the farm due to her aggression, biting and serious problems
Well, with size 14 shoe, you should have a new gf in no time..
🤭😉
(sorry, couldn't resist)
DO YOU NEAD THAT MANY ATVs ?
I don't know about slamming it and not hurting the damn door it is a Honda but it's still plastic
You must have gotten rid of your 25 year old 300trx
If you think you have to have all those machines for your farm proves that you like to spend money for no reason. Like I said before you build your mega shop and its full of cars and trucks. I'm sorry but real farmers put their tractors and mowers and everything else that relates to farming . I don't mean to be an A hole but I didn't grow up that way.
Right, but at least he is farming! This might discourage a few city folk from farming, thinking they can't afford all those toys, but most people who are not as wealthy and want to farm, will do it with what they have. Lets not target other farmers. Conquer and divide is a tool the elite use to make us infight...
Just because you didn't grow up that way doesn't mean jack. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and put your negative efforts into living better.
Find a new detailed!🤦🏻♂️😂
