Come to Ireland dodie!!
omg
This felt almost like a documentary I loved it !!!
Thanks, Zannah!
+*Tessa Violet* Next, make a video with your older brother. Pleeeeease...
The way this was filmed and narrated was AMAAAAZING! Almost like a video podcast? If that makes sense? So good.
Glad you like it! Yes totally
seriously this is fantastic, wow!
marry me
Video podcast! My thoughts exactly.
This is so good. It feels like you're just laying in bed reminiscing with your mom (which is maybe what you were doing) and I love it.
exactly
Bri Lamkin you guys have npr voices
Can there be a Tessa and Mama Violet podcast? Because this was amazing
oh my god please
Yes yes YES!
Yeah her voice was so soothing I literally had a shiver when it stopped (meh, I don't know how to describe in english)
your mother has the most soothing voice. You should make a relaxation app with some breathing exercises and bedtime stories and have her narrate them. haha. now I see where you get your voice from!
I totally got asmr from your mums voice! Amazing!!
I just have to say I absolutely love the way this video is set up, I mean it all feels so warm and it just gives you this feeling of reminiscing about a great experience with a loved one, it perfectly represents the trip I'd say. Making the shots of the places basically silent while you hear the narration was a great idea. I would dare say it is one of my favorite ways I've seen a video edited, ever.
Thanks, Pablo!
I love listening to people who've visited Ireland, because they always talk about the green.
I always tell people over here that they've never seen green till they visit, and they without fail look at me like I'm on drugs.
This editing style is super adorable and the talk with your mom, so heart warming
your mum is the most precious. the MOST. you guys are absolutely adorable.
Your mum! She has a beautiful voice, so calming and refreshing just like yours. :)
Your voices are both so incredibly soothing in this.
What a precious way to remember the trip with your mother. I love the narration story accompanying the videos. I love how you and your mother's personalities play off each other. It adds so much more to the video than just sticking some music behind the broll
Glad you enjoyed! My mom and I have a tradition at the end of the day (or trip) recounting our favorite parts together. We did the narration before I looked at any of the footage so the telling is all from memory.
when i visited paris one of my favourite parts was the graveyard also. it was so calm and utterly beautiful.
This was so ASMR inducing!
I wanted to add that is a very enjoyable travel vlog and is very calming.
I can't believe you came to my country, and I didn't know. And the way you say Cork is adorable^-^
I am still here! I have four Ireland shows next week. (link in the description).
+Tessa Violet okay you and Melanie Murphy!? 💖
I really enjoyed this. More of the voice over story type videos please! :D
This video was so chill and calming. I loved it. Hope you're having a nice time there!
Tessa's moms voice is so soothing
bless
The sound and quality of this video is amazing!!!!
Glad to know you got to spend time with your mother on the trip. looked like a wonderful day. Thank you for sharing.
Love this so much.
this type of video is all i need in my life
I love the format of this! Almost like listening to you going through an old album or scrapbook, reflective and personal, whilst still showing what happened and making us seem paet of it, and it wad just really lovely :)
Also yay, we're in the same timezone
YES!! I thought the horse riding one was like someone taking us through old slides on a projector, super creative, love it!
This is the best and most relaxing thing ever thank you for this
THIS WAS SO LOVELY OMG
I really love liked the soft narration over the scenes. It reminded me of 500 days of summer when Tom would talk about what he remembered about summer.
This is such a calming format. I enjoyed this story so much.
i love the commentary in this, it's lovely to hear a chilled conversation rather than a formal explanation ! very tessa like
Tessa Violet, you're so great
you always turn my bad days into great days with your glorious videos :' )
(and your mum is so cute)
Your mother has such a soothing voice haha. I feel like I can listen to her talk about cathedrals for like 20 mins. I love these style vlogs.
Tessa I absolutely love videos you make with your mom. They always make me happy
this is so wistful and enticing and earnest and real
a comfort to be able to watch and listen
Please do more like this. Your voices made me melt
i absolutely loved the format of this video
oddly, this is so relaxing to listen to with headphones x
The panning is fun, right?
This was incredibly relaxing to watch.
When you're in Dublin make sure to visit Howth! I live there, and the walks around the Moors there are always breathtaking!
This is lovely! I love that the voiceover is a conversation instead of artsy music. It's like we're seeing the real experience of this trip instead of a watered down version of it. Nice!
what a sweet video and a lovely way to capture the trip together through your mother-daughter relationship. love this so much.
Everything here was just so beautiful. It's really cool that you got to take this trip with your mom.
this was so cute honestly, it's lovely to see you and your mum interact aaaah
Thanks, Matty!
You and your mum have such calming videos! It's so nice to just sit and relax and watch a beautiful blog and feel happy!
It's lovely to see you two traveling together again! I remember your old videos of you guys traveling, and it's fun to watch. You interact so nicely with each other. 😊
this is possibly one of the best travel videos I have seen!!
loved this. it was like an NPR talk show
Your mom's voice is so calming. ❤️
That was an amazing video. I love the style of podcast-esc style with video overlay! Literally my fav!
This was lovely and personal, almost like a john greens Thoughts from places. Very calming and peaceful to watch.
I love how it was almost like a video commentary like you would get on a dvd. The feel of this travel vlog was quite unique and I really enjoyed it!
This was magical, Tessa. I've never been one for travel vlogs so I loved how you did this with the narrative.
this made me so nostalgic, i went on a trip to ireland with my family ages ago and this made me think about it and miss it for the first time in ages. such a soft and lovely vid
I absolutely love the way you executed this sort of "travel vlog" I've never seen it done like this before and it was really refreshing. Love you Tessa!
This is honestly the coolest, most original vlog I've ever seen and it warmed my heart to listen to you and your mom talking. The audio was so clear and I loved watching you do everything whil you explained it. Please. More.
This was very pleasant to watch. The shot at 3:00 is so beautiful!
tessa i LOVED this
Thanks, Erin!
Every once in a while, one gets a glimpse of someone's childlike self.
My favorite moment of the video was at 1:38 where you can sort of hear a mini Tessa "Mom! Where did you go?'
omg your mom has just as sweet and calming attitude adn voice as you do!!! Can I listen to you guys talk all the time? ahh.
This... It's so touching and wonderful. Your edits amaze me sometimes.
That was a really cool way to do the audio as a retrospective commentary with your mom. Thumbs up.
Glad yas are liking ireland Tessa! Welcome! 😊❤️
I love the calm relaxed way you and your mom talk, it's so lovely
... that's probably a weird thing to say
This was so calming and therapeutic to watch! I'm gonna love the rest of these.
I absolutely loved how this was done. Had strong podcast-y feels.
I love watching your vlogs it's one of my favourite times to watch UA-cam
Aaahh!! So cool!!! Ireland is the best. So beautiful~
I was in Ireland for my language exchange this year and I was so happy when i was watching this video because I've been to to same places around Cork and it was so nice to remember this time while watching you video. thank you tessa
Greetings from Switzerland
god I love the way this was put together with the wonderful films and you guys talking softly over it
I LOVED the editing of this video! The conversation between you and your mom was so calming and soothing
I really loved the interview/conversation style of editing. Unique and calming, all very beautiful.
Love this style so much, feels all cute and cosy!
Your thumbnail is adorable and your mom's voice has a nice timbre and is well articulated.
I have tears in my eyes. You and your mom have such a soothing voice and I was kind of having a bad day, but this really turned it around. Thank you, Tessa. Merry Christmas :)
It's Meekamommy!
Glad you're having a good time in Eire, Tessa.
I really like how you've done this video. There was something compelling about listening the calm, reflective narration about the day's activities and having it paired with video of those moments. I haven't seen that in a travel vlog before.
this was like a podcast but with pictures and i love everything about it
This is beautiful and lovely and so relaxing
I love the style of your Ireland vlogs!!!! It's like watching mini documentaries of you and your mom 😍 wonderful! great memories for the future!
Mommakitty! great to see you again. Watching you two traveling together is always such a joy.
Always wanted to visit Cork! It's where my dad's family comes from. CASTLES AND CATHEDRALS FOR DAYSSS
That's awesome!
I absolutely adore this video! I've always wanted to visit Ireland, and I especially want to take my mom with me. Your mother's voice is so soothing! This video was something special.
I love this sort of video ~ please make more in this way of narration
I'm irish:)) see you at the Dublin show. Can't wait.
I left a comment last week idk if you saw it so I'll say it again. If you have time in Dublin check out the Temple Bar and St George's Street Arcade area. It's not too high streety but still pretty bustling. Also accents coffee does the best hot chocolate. They give you steamed milk and chocolate chips to melt in with it mmmm. So good. My fave is the white chocolate.
I don't even love hot chocolate but that sounds INCREDIBLE.
ugh me neither but this one is so gooood
Winter but not quite freezing Ireland looks really beautiful. Looking forward to more vlogs from your trip/tour.
This was so good! Just relaxing and listening. Do more of these please! Much love for this.
this made me so happy! i
I just traveled to Ireland with my mom in July so this video was a lovely way to reminisce for me! So well done.
Very B-e-autiful video and country. Erin Go Bragh. Hope I get to visit one day. Please keep these coming.
Don't mean to be rude but its actually Éire go brách, being the Irish translation of "Ireland forever" rather than erin go bragh :)
Oh yeah I am a bit rusty. Thanks for the correction.
I loved this style of video. Very nostalgic like. Beautifully done Tessa.
I loved this the voice over and the relaxed back and forth conversation is great !! Glad you enjoy our Ireland hahaha ♡
I like this "commentation of a vlog" style :)
Also, mother/daughter bonding
this was happy and relaxing. enough, in fact, for me to comment about it. good work.
I love this so much. It was so relaxing, beautiful, and positive. Thank you. I will be coming back to watch this many times.
This is such a wonderfully shot and narrated film and really makes me proud of my country and appreciate its beauty! I hope you enjoyed your trip ✨
Aww this is such a lovely video! The conversation over all the little clips was really neat and your mom's voice is so soothing!
I frigging love Ireland! The visuals you captured just brought back all the memories of when I went with my mom last year. I never made my way to County Cork, but oh man that castle looks beautiful!
