Forge of Empires: "Quantum Incursions"! First look at the brand new Guild Raids!

We finally have an official announcement for the Guild Raids / Quantum Incursions! Still a lot of questions to be answered, but it's nice to get a quick glimpse at what we can expect! Based on the announcement it seems like a combination of GE, GBG and Settlements ... which is interesting! I'm intrigued by the possibilities, though I'm not sure how well it will replace GvG. It seems like they're goal is to simply replace GvG with a feature they think people will like, not necessarily focusing on the aspects people liked about GvG.
Anyways, with the information we have so far we can only speculate so much, I'm looking forward to dig deeper into the feature when it is actually released :)

Thanks for this presentation. Like you I don't think QI is meant to replace GVG, but rather to be something else to do. From what we see QI is a challenge for the guilds. As far as I understand it there will be no confrontation with other guilds which was the essence of GVG. We'll have to rely on GBG to "meet" other guilds. On the rewards, the "improved" buildings, yes it seems that we'll have to build them in our city, not upgrade them. But as the QI session are limited in time, this will take forever to have, for example, the full colossus if we need to start again at level one... And for GB it will have to be different ! Or will it be possible to have 2 Zeus (for example again) ? I don't see it would be acceptable to start a GB at level 1 !!!
Now this was just a teaser and very interesting to have. Let's wait for the next steps. I'll be watching you channel :))
Yeah it will be interesting to see if there is any guild interaction at all, I guess the name change from "guild raids" to something completely unrelated to guilds might hint at that (and the fact there's no mention of it).
I just hope it wont be rushed. Also idk why they don't do colonies. So you could make more cities. But for example everything you produce there is 25% less or some similar penalty.
I would gravitate towards it being more of a personal ranking imo, because we already have a guild rank system for gbg so it wouldn't make sense to have another seperate one without gvg. I also doubt you can upgrade the old buildings
Will be interesting to see how it works. If it is individual I hope it will actually reward "good" guild members, not members who game the system somehow.
Could it be that they will use the new settlement to re-use the eras already created. This one seems to be based on IA. They could release new era every few months to keep renewing this QI 😅

As a new mobile player, i don't know a thing about gvg lol. Tf is that
So no more actually fighting another guild in real time Inno is going to find out just how many GVG players they really had. And for those of you who didn't like it, no one ever forced you to play it. But there really are a bunch of us who have played for more than 5 years who love it. What a poor business practice after stating publicly they weren't going to kill it when starting GBG. You cannot scam players by promising something so they spend money on it, then change your mind after all. I believe than is a possible fraud case in the US.
Look and sounds like a game I played years ago, don't remember what it was called, but the main building in the picture looks like the main one in the old game. You belong to a group, you had raids, then you would enter a portal with your whole city and fight others could either back you up or let you burn. Dang, whish I could remember the name of game it's been years. I remember it was advertised during one of the Super Bowel games. I played for a while but getting raided and having to rebuild got tiresome and costly.

Just as I figured, not something I'll be interested in so I'll be quitting the game once they kill gvg. Most of the gvg players I know are transitioning to either clash of clans or the game of thrones game.
I'll be joining them me thinks.

GVG WAS FoE. Inno failed to listen to the customer base and is bleeding players. I no longer play due to their treating adults like children in the chat, but also because of their plans to do away with GVG. They killed the best part of the game and tried to make up for it by bribing players with rewards for button-monkey pinwheels on the GBG map. Now that they are erasing GVG altogether, they produce another failure to try and take its place when so many have stated that they just wanted GVG upgraded for the new ages and made available on mobile. They claimed they would have to write all new code to do that...well, DUH... you had to write all new code to bring us the failure that is GBG and now this. You had zero interest on what players wanted, now you have a lot less players. FYI... my life has improved dramatically since I stopped spending so much time on this BS.

GVG is the part of the game i like the least , happy its going. Looking forward to seeing how QI pans out.
100% agree ... they want to sell us this boring stuff which has NONE of the fun elements of GVG which is basically direct confrontation and social interaction on the map. This is not replaceable.
1. Fold the rope into three.
2. With the string left at the end wind it round the threes. When finished there should be loops at both ends.
3. Put the string which has been wound around the threes through the loop at the end.
4. Pull on the noose at the other end to tighten the loop.@@MarkUgartechea
