You can do it with a bench, but for shorter people this could be easier to get into the start position for. I'm a trainer, and some of my shorter clients have trouble getting into the start position when using a bench. So this could actually work really well even in the gym setting. And if it holds up to 400 lbs, you could also use a free weight barbell, as that is more than most people hip thrust already. I'm actually considering getting one for the gym I train some of my clients at because of that. Plus, although it might seem expensive for a piece of home equipment, it costs much less than commercial gym equipment. Most other hip thrust machines a gym would typically have are gonna run $500 to $2,000 with no extra benefit. I'm just looking to see if I can get something that holds even more weight in case some of our powerlifter gym members also want to do hip thrusts 😃
I'm doing my bootysprout workout atm and my butt is still feeling tense from trusts even I have had 30sec break. This machine is crazy and not a hip trust with weights at the gym has ever made me feel this way. I have been having troubles with activating my glutes but with this it just happens without trying to get the mind-muscle connection
How do you stop from sliding though with the barbell it can hold with weight but the legs slide and not to make matters worse but one leg slides more than other
Hi there, do you think it would be beneficial to use this machine with a barbell and weights? Or am I better off with using a bench?m when performing weighted hip thrusts?
Where is your shoes😇🤣 I bought it 🤣🤣 The reason you're feeling the tightness in quad because your arm position on your shoulders is not aligned. Look at your form. 😇
I found it for 10 bucks at goodwill. For 10 bucks definitely worth it
😮😮😮

Would say that this with high caloric protein intake and intense use of this will lead to expansion and growth of the glutes
I just got mine for $12.99 at the Goodwill 😁
Congratulations on getting a great deal!
I love it I use the 70lb band and 2 of the other ones together and it burns my cheeks. Very hard it kills me.
I’m pretty petite. I did 10 hip thrusts and feel very very sore today. The bands feel so light yet they killed me being at 45 pounds.
Nice job!
I thought you said high resistance was necessary. How can I get that at home?
ikr
You can buy extra bands separately. This can go up to high resistance.

Rubber bottom socks! Like what kids wear ✌️
I put grip tape on mine. Like the sand papery, skate board deck tape lol
How tall are you? I’m 6’ and I’ve seen a lot of the other videos where the user was around 5’4”. Not sure if it’s intended for people over 5’10”
Im 5'11
