I started watching this channel mainly because of how many people actually died in horror films but after James started to give insight on some of the BTS of these films and the other stuff him and Chelsea do like the podcast and make a killer stuff, I’ve come to appreciate more of the horror genre in general as I have never seen it before. SCP is literally just a community of people who write about specific anomalies and how they're contained. there are currently about 6000 official entries. There is obviously more to it but that's the simplified version of it.

OH MY GOD Natalie Portman is my childhood crush because of Padme too!! I loved her so much as a kid and I still do. James, you should really check out SCP. It's actually like a huge collaborative creative writing project. It's a website framed as a database from the Special Containment Protocol Foundation, which is like this big shadowy organization that basically holds and studies all kinds of weird creatures and monsters and cursed/magical items. And people can just add entries for new things they make up. There's also been a few video games based on the whole thing.
I've been trying to get into scp. Is there a storyline to it or is it just entries on the website? I say this because the multiple SCP-001 got me a bit confused

I believe all of the entries are just meant to be like, data entries about different creatures or objects, almost like individual wikipedia articles for each item. They all exist in the same fictional world, but there's no real plot or anything connecting them. It's like a fictional wikipedia, not a novel or anything like that.

SCP is literally just a community of people who write about specific anomalies and how they're contained. there are currently about 6000 official entries. There is obviously more to it but that's the simplified version of it.
here’s why james makes perfect videos and this is 100% one of them. i have youtube premium. so i can exit the app but the video still plays while on other apps or when i lock my phone. so while i’m just laying here playing games or am driving, i can listen to him talk! videos like Q&As and the podcasts are so good.

OH MY GOD Natalie Portman is my childhood crush because of Padme too!! I loved her so much as a kid and I still do. When I was little I covered my door to my room in stickers and my brother got a pack of Star Wars stickers and gave me a padme one and I put her in an empty spot away from all the other stickers right at eye level so I could say hi to her whenever I went in my room.

James, you should really check out SCP. It's actually like a huge collaborative creative writing project. It's a website framed as a database from the Special Containment Protocol Foundation, which is like this big shadowy organization that basically holds and studies all kinds of weird creatures and monsters and cursed/magical items. And people can just add entries for new things they make up.
There's also been a few video games based on the whole thing.
It would be interesting to see what his opinion would be on SCP-2006.
I've been trying to get into scp. Is there a storyline to it or is it just entries on the website? I say this because the multiple SCP-001 got me a bit confused
A friend of mine showed me a 35-minute short film called SCP: Overlord, which was amazing. It's here on UA-cam. Definitely horror.

I believe all of the entries are just meant to be like, data entries about different creatures or objects, almost like individual wikipedia articles for each item. They all exist in the same fictional world, but there's no real plot or anything connecting them.
