Okay but the Dead Meat channel went from a simple UA-cam channel to a whole tv show in 5 years. Where do I come to that conclusion? The whole setup and the fact that they have had guest stars. Actors, other creators, etc. It's insane.

We’ve come along way guys, I’ve always loved this channel and it just amazes me to see all the improvements to not only the set but just everything in general
Dead Meat and the Kill Count have come a *very* long way in five years, and this new set is a fantastic visual representation of that. GoButton really helped deliver here.

It’ll be great to see you, James. I’ve been deployed overseas since January and have been marking the time since you were set to come back; it means that I’ll be headed home. It’s my last deployment after 22 years in the military since I’m set to retire. I can’t think of a better way to mark it than your return to Dead Meat. I thoroughly enjoyed Zoran's kill counts, but I am very excited for James's return. Love the set. Maybe you could add a Tiffany doll and a Glen/Glenda doll. Or maybe an Annabelle doll too. Just a thought...

The behind-the-scenes tour was incredibly interesting to me, especially the sacrifices to a normal floor plan you had to make in the past and even now in order to accommodate your careers. Kudos to all of you! (Whatever kudos actually are ...I imagine it's some kind of sugary breakfast cereal.)
So happy to be here from the early days of DeadMeat, to think you went from a few shelves and a poster on the wall talking about kills in a movie, to giving a full analysis of the movie in question… with a full studio and even meeting new famous faces and making friends along the way.
This looks and feels like a genuine TV show set like if I didn’t already know that this was done in his house I’d think this was done in a studio 🤩

I've always really liked the kill count set! The fact it changes with every movie being counted was and still is awesome
I remember around the beginning of the year when James made the announcement that both he and the podcast would go on break until like summer and I was SO SAD that I would have to go through a whole nother semester of organic chemistry before getting another James Kill Count, but God am I so glad we are here now

edit: this might sound weird, but it makes sense. your strive to always improve quality of videos without changing how they feel (flow, sets, etc) reminds me of linus tech tips. the strive to always get better while feeling familiar resonates with both channels.

I’m so shocked at how much this channel has transgressed and grown over the period of 5 or so years, it’s so spectacular.
For what it’s worth, you guys deserve it. It’s a great experience to see what you guys have reached and accomplished from the time I watched F13’s first kill count till now. Good job, guys!
That set looks damn great. Visually and from a usability standpoint it's such an improvement. Also, it's damn impressive to hear James and Chelsea offer healthcare and retirement for the employees now. They really live by that "Be good people" motto. Good on you all.

It's hard to overstate the morale impact of being able to walk into a space and start working immediately. Doing a ton of set up and pack up really kills motivation.

My love for James and Chelsea started out as just liking the channel because of the kill count. Now, a few years later, I kinda get teary eyed watching their success grow and grow. I don't even know them but I'm so happy for them. They are really living their best lives. Not everyone does that. Some of us have all kinds of reasons. But seeing them grow like this is just beautiful.

I love how subtly you can tell that James is holding in just how excited he is while trying to remain professional it's like a little kid at Christmas
Yeah, one of my fav channel, and really proud of all the hard work that James, Chelsea (and all the team that works with them now) are making. I still remember the fear and excitement in James face, when he talks us about the mad plan, that if only get enough (I believe 2 thousand a month in patron) he will leave his job and go for it with the kill count. And then, even without the numbers (no pun intended) you two just go for it anyways.
Your love and passion for the genre is really one of a kind... like your channel. Best wishes from Argentina!

This is absolutely amazing. I’ve been here since the Friday Reboot kill count (Original) and I’ve watched the set grow from an almost bare background to a fully fleshed out set with depth and detail.

6 months off of "deliverables" is definitely different from a vacation. I think this video shows what that time has done to re-invigorate and propel the company forward. It must have been a terrifying decision but ultimately I think it was thoroughly in the right direction (and marvelously executed, the tremors series was covered very well). Hopefully you find a schedule that includes time for non-deliverable items in slightly smaller chunks so it doesn't seem so daunting

honestly James a. Janice's comedy never gets old even if I watch these vids twice never. Gets. OLD. I've been watching him for quite some time so long I don't even remember. Along with the references he either works hard for companies to send him stuff like masks, dolls, props, etc. or he rules out the money for all you guys to enjoy when the kill count is done. and I hope this channel will continue to thrive thanks James!
