On the most recent episode of The XboxEra Podcast, it was suggested during ‘The Rumourmill’ segment that talks are underway to bring Helldivers 2 to the Xbox Series X|S platform.
We know that PlayStation has a new CEO at the moment, and I think the new CEO might be more open to certain things. And what I’ve heard is that there may be some very, very early, preliminary discussions about the possiblity of Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox.
It’s worth stressing - as Nick does - that that isn’t confirmation, it’s just a rumour. However, it makes complete sense, and there aren’t really any downsides to the proposition. It would broaden the community immeasurably and open up the game to a whole new market of gamers.

LittleBigPlanet 3Due to ongoing technical issues which resulted in the LittleBigPlanet 3 servers for PS4 being taken offline temporarily in January 2024, the decision has been made to keep the servers offline indefinitely. All online services including access to other players' creations for LittleBigPlanet 3 are no longer available. User generated content (UGC) stored locally on your PS4 will remain available. Any new UGC you create can be played on your PS4 but not shared. Offline features such as the campaign will remain playable.
Problems began for LittleBigPlanet 3 in 2021, when servers were maliciously attacked. LittleBigPlanet 3 was eventually nixed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, but came back online for PlayStation 4. Problems arose again in January, which led to the latest shutdown, which was supposed to be temporary.
Recently The Crew was delisted and after that, it started to be removed from people’s accounts on PC and the servers were shut down
Some people had success getting refunds from the PSN but this needs to stop

And this is why I'll never buy digital. You don't buy a game any more, you rent it.
But, you can still have issues for a physical version like with lil big planet. The mods was the big drive for the game. But, now the servers are down. And, what if it's a game that requires online, regardless of whether or not you got it physically?
Any new physical games are still digital since the CD only carries the license. The game still runs off live updates so youre still screwed.

@@tressonkaru7410 You know, you people all say that like we don't think of that. Of course online games won't work! But the single player/non online games will still work. And we shouldn't expect online games to work until the end of time. The online part is the problem. Companies only have so much time and so many resources to dedicate to an online game until it becomes unprofitable, then they'll shut it down. HOWEVER. Sometimes people find ways to regain the online feature of some games. Look at the Archstones thing for Demons Souls on the PS3. Those servers are offline, yet they were brought back. So no matter what, we still have a point. Digital is not the way to go.
We all should cancel subscriptions and only buy physical games so companies couldn't play with consumers rights like that...
Wouldn't work lol, if you buy that game second hand maybe but pretty sure Sony/Microsoft still receive revenue from physical games sold (and even if you bought it second hand the second hand company is still gonna win)
Plus not everyone has a new gen with a disc drive so they either gotta down grade to the previous gen or just not buy any games lol

They cant play with consumer rights at all, contact your credit card, and force a refund. if they dont refund tell them your credit card has violated consumer protections, and just refuse to pay them. if they send it to collections, contact government agencies and argue that they sent it to collections while it was in contest. they arent legally allowed to do that, that means they cant charge interest during this time, otherwise its fraud, they cant tell you you must pay because thats intimidation, keep it in conflict

As a Playstation lifer, I instantly bought Grounded. I always wanted that game to be brought to playstation and was absolutely pissed when I seen it was Microsoft! Best survival game I've ever played, and for I for 1 love the fact of everyone getting a chance to play any amd every game. Fuck exclusives, let everyone enjoy any game no matter what console or pc!
That would be nice. Nintendo, as far as I can tell, is the only one with exclusives, mario, Zelda, etc. Sony and Microsoft don't feel like they have any true exclusives anymore.
Unfortunately, exclusives are still needed. If not for exclusives, it comes down to hardware, and Microsoft will always be able to out preform sony in the tech department if they so choose. And people tend to go for the better hardware. Sure, Sony will have a small bunch of gamers buying it's hardware and the games on its hardware, but nowhere near enough to make continuing in the gaming industry profitable at all.

You won’t be disappointed. The ps5 is objectively awesome. If I were you, I’d try to wait until holiday season 2024 to get your hands on the ps5 pro, but if money is an issue, you could always get a used ps5 for like $400 bucks.
Be careful has some games don't accept certain disability accessories. And not all games will accept what PlayStation accepts. You need to do some research ahead of time. I know Xbox just had some issues over this with an update a few months ago I think.
So if you meant that Sony sells more PLAYSTATION 1st or 2nd party games than XBOX or PC, I can get behind that, but as a whole 1v1v1 nothing comes close to the sales and revenue PC games bring in. Not even a question. Between MMO subs EPIC/STEAM/GOG/GMG/XBOXPCGAMEPASS, Sony is a newt. Its a wonder they're not on life support yet and almost have been twice. Japan pretty much put Sony in the corner and is pissed at them, Square-Ennix is pissed at them and they have to start selling on other platforms due to margins. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
As someone who just likes gaming and doesn't stick to any one platform I'm hoping this new Ceo is more open to crossplay.

Though honestly I never thought helldivers would come to xbox myself and never expected it to.
I'm more furious that I bought a dual sense edge controller to combat stick drift. Then when the controller gets stick drift Sony doesn't produce enough replacement modules so they're out of stock everywhere but from scammers. Been like a month and a half now. Only thing I can think of is buying a new dual sense edge controller, swapping out the modules and then returning it.

how you stop people from stealing your power armor is by removing the fusion core everytime you get out. it's a bit tedious, but if you don't and raiders attack they might hijack it and you'll lose the frame.
I had just beat Forbidden West for the first time about a week ago, took me about 40 hours for the main story. I got the standard version on disc for PS5. I loved the story it was very good. If you liked Zero Dawn then this is a massive gameplay improvement when it comes to the variety of weapons, upgrades, armor, etc. Zero Dawn was amazing but Forbidden West is a whole other experience. You will enjoy it. I just bought Burning Shores on Monday and have yet to play it.
Simple fix for the power armor, just take out and store the fuel cells in a chest.
I'm still livid about Modern Warfare 2019. I had almost every operator in that game. I spent thousands. And they shut it down without much of a warning and zero compensation or ability to port operators over
That's exactly why I don't buy anything out of that damn store when you're just gonna lose everything in the next game anyways. The only reason I bothered with the mastery camos in black-ops1-4 was cause they were a fun challenge. But after 2019 now they're just annoying and irritating with 90% of the camos looking like shit.

People saying we dont need a pro are stupid, its not like pro will get games standard ps5 doesnt, itll close the gap of having to choose between frame rate, resolution, and advance graphical effects. I rather have a system that plays games a little smoother, with a little more resolution, with more graphical effects turned on, with less dropped frames. Ps5 is great but i want my games close to 4k 60 with ray tracing and other stuff turned on

Should do a weekly review of both individual games but also reviews of franchises as a whole.I think a simple little 2.5 minute segment is sufficient for a thorough breakdown.

Back when Kena was being developed the Devs were asked if there will be an Xbox version. They stated that due to the team being so small, they didn’t have the resources to develop their game on multiple platforms. They started with Sony because it had the largest console platform.
I don’t think Kena was some kind of exclusivity deal. I could be mistaken tho.

But it's rumoured it has 30+ teraflops. It's a lot more than 10% increase in FPS as the current PS5 is 10teraflops

@@danielmiller4418 I will absolutely get one! Sony has not made a disappointing console yet and they know people would not upgrade for 10% better performance in games. It will 100% run all games at 60fps minimum whereas the PS5 is already struggling

To hear you talk about Little Big Planet you know as a collector I haven't even had a chance to play that game yet crap I hope it means I can still play it I have the physical copy but if they took the servers down this really pisses me off it makes me not even want to buy games anymore. Can anybody confirm that the game will still play if you have the physical copy? I have these games back from the PS3 and yeah I don't care if it's an older system I still want to be able to play the darn game whenever I want. Burning Shores expansion is not exclusive to the PS5. It is also on the PC, along with all other dlc in the complete edition.
So I am a pc player who also has a ps account. So there is a very high chance that that helldivers 2 will be on xbox my proof you might ask? I have an xbox one controller hooked up to my pc and helldivers 2 has support for it. (Aka you can use xbox controller to play)

I've given up on consoles because they're simply getting too expensive to keep buying where as a gaming PC can not only be upgraded, it has access to a larger amount of things as well as being a general computer.

How exactly does delisting games on consoles work? Because as far as i know if you own a game that's being delisted you can still download it (unless it's a multiplayer) because you bought it before being delisted. For example, i can still download Avengers if i want because i bought it before being delisted.
If the severs for the game shut down completely, it will probably get removed from your library. Even if it doesn't, the game will be unplayable anyway.

You mentioned that PC make up a fraction of a fraction of sales. Thats because if you know what your doing you hardly ever have to pay for games, it will dilute it through cheaters and hackers etc, but we still have hope as a PS community that they won't ruin our time online like they have with Call Of Duty.

From a financial standpoint the devs would be smart to put helldivers on as many systems as possible after 6months to a yr, same with the devs that made stellarblade and all devs when it comes to their games.

They just shut down the servers for the 1st Crew game. Seen as though 'Motorfest' is just over 6 months old, it should be OK to play for a few years yet.
gamers just NEED to DEMAND physical copies of their games... AND if these companies refuse to provide them, then sue them for said physical copies and/or a FULL refund, including DLC purchases... IF enough gamers start doing this, these companies will learn REAL quick WE mean business... it's bad enough we are forced to deal with WOKE content in our games now as well, i'm surprised more studios have not gone bankrupt YET.... seriously... and for consoles you would think there would be NO issue with losing games as MOST are traditionally on a disk or cartridge to begin with....

Please stop buying digital games. Companies has stealing these game out of users library. But if you have a physical game they cannot do that can they. If the game does not have a physical release ask yourself are you ok with no owning this game. Because digital really means rented now.
Problem is the companies themselves are moving to digital only. Not only the companies but the stores that stock their consoles and games.
The technology exists for a publisher to restrict you playing a physical disc on a console if they wanted to go that far. Odds are slim to none that they would do that but it is possible.
The only reason you need licience verification for your ps5 is because it is your secodary ps5

Buying a digital copy is to accept to be robbed. You're essentially giving away ownership. Buy physical at all times, do not accept digital trash. Do not buy "digital only gaming platforms". DVDs or as it should've been game cards, because that would've been the next logical progression. The games run better and are superior version to ps4. The load times and controller alone are worth the upgrade which is just icing on top. Second Sony is not making anyone buy a pro, it’s just an option. It’s not like ps5 support will cease with the pro. It’s no different than Series S and X, did MS railroad people into buying a X?

The PS4 pro made sense the PS5 pro is stupid if you want a boost in performance just get a decent PC AmD or Nvidia it does not really matter which you choose if it’s at least at the level of a 30 series card card it will be above what the PS5 pro as long as you have a good modern processor and Nvme ssd .
@@germainetaylor1757 The most likely price of PS5 Pro is probably $600. This is from an article posted Feb 2024 "Nowadays, you can build a PC with performance equivalent to the PS5 for around $1000" - and keep in mind that's a regular PS5 not even a pro.

Palworld made that decision not Xbox. Playstation doesn't allow early acces games that's why
Pal world is incomplete and won't be finished for a few years for those that still love and still play it then with mostly be playstation if it is decided then thay probably will add it but as the other comment said playstation doesn't like unfinished (saying this like cod isn't broken for months even tho it's the same issues every launch lol)

I think all platforms and pc has the thing if you don't update you can't play online, so you say OK update Windows, update the game app and update the game, then chkdsk /r and trim, or rebuild database, then the game crashes, so it's just important to update rather than play the way you desire without time constraints.
