Rob just doesn't get it. Dude's stuck on the "literal" side of things. Bro at the end tho 🙄 They don’t have to physically say anything to confirm certain points or aspects of the film. Every single clue given about Kiri and her connection to Eywa (having common sense of the film) confirms she has everything to do with and was born of Eywa. Including the first film.
The marine biologist was definitely one of the funniest characters in this movie, the "who's got the harpoon now'" was aight, but when he said "thats why I drink" after we get the exposition on why they hunt the Tulkun WAS HALARIUS, I was rolling for a good minute.
I think Quaritch will eventually team up with the Na'vi. I feel a big face turn coming. Also, Kiri was the most interesting character to me. I can't wait to see what direction they go with her.
I kinda agree. In the movie he seemed way more human (if that makes sense) and i think its because of all the time he spent with Spider. Since thats his son he grew a soft spot for him unlike Quarich from the first movie who really didnt have anything to lose or gain from the situation. You can tell from his facial expressions too. You can see more fear from him especially when he see's Neytiri's arrows (probably traumatized from watching the video of his death lol) He grew alot more humanizing characteristics
ROB and PATRICK's argument, I understand that they didn't confirm it 100% but the fact that they drew upon that multiple times across the movie proves that Kiri is connected to Eywa is quite confirmed. I understand Rob's point but the fact that throughout the movie the fish sought to help Kiri without her asking proves to me that Kiri is directly connected to Eywa and it is a beautiful thing to see. Just as Jake was able to draw the lighting bugs with tentacles in the first movie, Kiri was able to establish a connection far greater than that in this movie and it shows that Eywa is aware of the world going on around her and is able to distinguish what is meant for her planet and what is not. I feel that Kiri is another "Prophet", so to speak, that is meant to show that Eywa is close and is still with the Navi and will help the people when they need. This movie is exactly what the Avatar world needed and I think that is greatly due to what Kiri and Eywa brought to it.
I love to see tye different kinds of humans who watch this movie, the ones who choose to value a piece of green paper and the ones who value life and nature
Rob has the worst takes kiri is clearly the child of eywa and its heavily implied and easy to understand if you watch the film with common sense what is he even saying
Loved the review. Little trivia about Kiri, she has had an exceptional bond with Eywa, the planet and it's wildlife, almost since birth. As per a comic series created in collaboration with James Cameron who confirmed it is meant to tie into the whole continuity. She seems to have the natural affinity for the forest even more knowledge of healing at 14 then the Omatikaya's Tsahìk, Mo'at, It was at a very young age around 5 years old, when she claimed her Iclan/ flyer, and she did not have to conquer it, she simply approached it, asked it to be her friend, & it accepted her and became hers. If I understand the reports about the 3rd movie much of it is going to focus on Kiri and who and what she really is.
Also the first movie was just a Introduction to Pandora so not everyone exactly really liked the storyline which is okay and the second one has more stuff going on and all that so the storyline is kinda better. I personally like both and both are special in different ways.
In spider's defense, no one came to rescue him. He was with the RDA for months. And not once did anyone come for him, not even Norm and Max, the scientists in Hell’s Gate, which is crazy. I understand why they didn’t, but if they had, then Lo'ak and Neteyam wouldn't have had to in the end. Like realistically, Spider was never safe. Lets not forget that General Ardmore nearly killed him in that brain blender machine and probably would have if not for Quaritch. Quaritch was the only reason Spider survived his time in captivity, of course Spider would save him in return.
And honestly it's not like spider likes him much, he still rejected him in the end. I don't agree with him saving him but I can't bring myself to exactly hate him for that choice.
James Cameron aka the man who created the avatar franchise has teased that the third avatar movie coming out on December 20th 2024 will feature a different Na’vi clan called something along the lines of the “ash people”. I think (correct me if I’m wrong) that James Cameron has said that he no longer wants to only focus on the beautiful and happy sides of the indigenous people of pandora but also the harsh and more darker sides. And I think or my theory is that the third movie will be more of a Na’vi against Na’vi war type rather than humans being the main enemies. Also it’s confirmed by James Cameron that the next movie will be out of Jake and Neytiri’s youngest son Lo’ak’s point of view making him the narrator of the next movie. :)
Yes i was waiting for this reaction! The next movie will be coming out in december 2024 and Lo'ak will be the narrator so this movie was kinda a build up for the next movie and a backstory for Lo'ak, our main dude. We will also meet the ash/fire na'vi in the next one and as far as we know those dudes are kinda the bad ones so it will be more exciting to see Na'vi as enemy.
Good reaction but Rob is mad annoying. Rob reasoning ability decreases with time. Everything don't have to be explicitly said for you to understand something. The movie CLEARLY gave hints that the daughter power and connection is from Eywa. 1. The white flying things surrounding her more than they did Jake in the first movie, 2. The animals gravitate to her more than ANYBODY else in the movie, 3. Her ability to control the water lightbulbs. 4. Her mother was trying to pass through Eywa in the first movie but didn't and she was born. The above examples are CLEAR ENOUGH for you to understand that her connection with the animals comes from and has something to do with Eywa. They don't have to confirm anything, you need to use your brain and think, act liek you learned something at school kmt
Dude also needs to learn to let others get a word in for an actual discussion instead of just repeating the same thing over and over and getting louder to talk over others.
Bro on the right need to chill💀💀it’s not confirmed but everyone has used their context clues and have come to the conclusion that it has to do with eywa,… not that serious, no need to freak out like that, it’s a movie💀
I just want to say people seem to take the way Jake said spider was a stray cat the wrong way you have to keep in mind he doesn’t have parents he is an orphan much like a stray cat I didn’t see it as negative Jake actually defended him a few times because again keep in mind Jake was once human so he doesn’t just reject spider he was at a point in time one of he sky people
Dude on the right wanted to make a point but had no idea how to express himself so he just keeps yelling and interrupting that people aren’t understanding him, while he has zero ability to actually tell them anything lmao
Omg he’s still going, he’s so dumb lmao. “WE DONT KNOW IF IT DEALS WITH EYWA” like bro what? Use your brain. The whole fuckin movie is about their god, what the fuck else would have given her special powers?
They don’t have to say it, the clues confirms she is connected to Ewya…is he forreal ?? Her entire storyline is in connection to ewya how could you not see that nor understand?!!
The Tsihaylu, the tendrils at the end of the Navi's hair, not only let's them communicate with animals and Eywa, it also allows for the transfer of nutrients and oxygen, as seen with those... Manta ray backpacks. I don't recall if it was also hinted in the first movie... maybe it's the mating scene, but there is precedent... If only minor that the Tsihaylu has multiple functions. So the "Miraculous conception" is definitely feasible
At first I didn’t understand why spider saved his dad, but I realized that it makes a lot of sense for him to do that, and i think the hate his character get for that decision is a bit unfair. Imagine if you were spider living on an alien planet that doesn’t support you as a species, and growing up you never have someone to call family! Yes spider has the Sullys, however, he’s more like a family pet rather an actual member, especially considering neytiris dislike for him. It would get lonely, and he would struggle to fit in! The thing is, spider wasn’t intending to find his dad, but he was presented the opportunity, which made him save his dad! The reason why is because after everything he knew someone _that he can relate too_ cared for him! He found this knew personal connection with someone that he’s never had before, so ofc he saved him! Also plot! I can’t wait to see the conflict unfold between spider and the Sullys! I think Jake will be understanding, however, neytiri will not and maybe kiri will feel betrayed. Idk, nonetheless I’m interested to see!
well choose and be real. you cant dip ur toes on both sides thats not how it works. and the fact he literally hear him say ill kill your whole family and still let him live knowing hell kills lots more as well is baffling. he should have just left
I watched this movies in the theaters like about 4 times in theaters. I was so sad when Netayem died like damn. That was bull crap. But they killed this movie. Way better than part 1 to me.💯💯💯🔥🔥
You guys should definitely react to the Planet of the Apes series next. I think you will love Caesar's story arc and the world surrounding him in general.
45:00 - 53:59 That guy on the right end needs to calm down and let others talk. He totally doesn't understand the difference between the characters not knowing / not being able to scientifically explain how Kiri's conception occured versus the audience not knowing how. Through several instances, it's made clear to the audience across the end of the first movie and in the the second movie that Kiri is a child created between Grace and Eywa. Kiri was born after Neteyem (who was conceived during Neytiri's and Jake's first mating seen in the first film), meaning that she was conceived after him. We the audience can easily see that Grace didn't have sex with any Na'vi male during that time following it. Grace was yanked from her linkbed twice; the first to be brought back to Hell's Gate right after she found out Jake and Neytiri mated (her "Oh, shit" moment), and the second she barely had an hour to try to evacuate Hometree with Jake before being jailed with Jake and Norm before escaping and being shot. Which means that Kiri must have been conceived while Grace's avatar was connected to the Tree of Souls during the transfer ceremony as Grace's human body was dying. At 07:31, the guy second to the right (with the glasses and gray shows) totally caught onto that immediately.
Thank you for this video and sharing your opinions! I think a lot of people who react to movies forget to talk about the movie after watching it. They just finish the video when the movie is over or give a very short review. I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts even though I did not agree with everything (obviously) but that is the nice thing about being different. We all have our own opinions and I love to listen to what others have to say!
i get that spider never really belonged to a family but the fact that he was there when quaritch said he’ll never stop until all of them are dead, proceeded to save him and then not even go with him after truly has me baffled. i hope he knows the blood of quaritch’s future victims are on his hands 🤷♂️
Spider has no blood on his hands 😭 he didn't rat out the sullys while being tortured and he begged for village’s lives, that and while being under neytiri’s knife kept begging for kiri’s life. It's just Stockholm syndrome, Quaritch stopped the brain machine torture because Spider wasn't saying anything and quaritch said ‘I’ll do it my own way” later trying to making Spider emotionally vulnerable by giving him the real quaritch's dog tag (which didn't work, but it shows us quaritch was using emotional manipulation the whole time on Spider) Spider was hostage for months and hes 16, ofc the manipulation took it's toll on him. Quaritc did start caring, seeing how he even gave up his last chip (kiri) to get sully just to 'save' spider at the end. All of this, esp Neytiri's last action, led to Spider's rush decision. Spider has no blood on his hands, he couldnt even let Quaritch die in front of him.
Same! And it was the trope of bringing back a villain that didn't feel forced, it had a logical explanation that I could believe in this universe. And he is so fascinating, he has to make a choice on how he's going to live this new life. Spider and hunting Jake will be the only things that drives him, I feel. I'd like to see him become a lone wolf, but not necessarily be redeemed. SLang killed it as Recom Quaritch!
just finished watching it and I feel DRY from crying so much, I have a headache and it's all so worth it. Hadn't watched a movie that left such an impression on me in years
This is my first watch of this channel... first impression, y'all could be fine without my man on the far right. Dude on the far left is super insightful and it goes under the radar. I tied to watch til the end, but I tapped out. He can agree to disagree. Trying to get everyone to accept his views without trying to understand anyone else.
I hate Quaritch, but at the same time he’s one of my favorite things about these movies. Stephen Lang just plays him perfectly (especially in this one being that he gets a lot more to do).
I don't care what justification anyone comes up with Spider is hands down the dumbest character I've ever witnessed. Saving the person that is 100% committed to killing the people you've grown up with and care for, regardless of how they feel about you, is probably the wildest thing ever. This really has nothing to do with Neytiri or Jake and everything to do with how close Spider was with the kids. He betrayed them by ensuring that Quaritch will come after them again.
Recom quaritch has a weakness which is spider. It could be because he saved him from being killed twice. Plus the boy has daddy issues…he was an orphan
Right!! I said this same thing 😭Even if he saved him from the humans’ torture, it’s like he had all the kids in your adopted family that you supposedly care about at knife or gun point. Especially Kiri. It shocks me that he picked his dad over her. Likeee by saving him, he doomed the entire Sully family
@@KashiKay …the sullys was never his adopted family…the sullys would still be in a lot of danger it quaritch did drown bc quaritch was ordered to find him by that short general lady :/ he’s an orphan who was neglected by his foster parents and was never seen as a real “son” by any of the adults there….until the recom, so ofc spider would have confusing feelings on whether to leave him to die or save him. That doesn’t make him stupid…

Bruh rob it has to be eywa my guy if she had powers she could fly too right no she’s is connected to all living thing because of EYWA rob cmon use common sense bro🤣😭 not to mention grace is connected to eywa aswell in the first one when she died
My mind is actually blown, because depending on how long after Grace's death it was when she started showing, what if she was already pregnant when her avatar died(and thus the fetus died too) and when the village was putting her life essences into the avatar, it really went to the fetus?? All this time I figured it was parthenogenesis (typically occuring in reptiles, it's when a female body fertilized her own eggs but not with any kind of sperm. The body creates a clone of the mother) but I like y'alls theory more because it's SUPER interesting.
Information??? All he was doing was teaching them Navi 🙄he ain’t say shit, nothing about their location nor where their tribe was etc etc. so idk wtf info you’re talking about
And it isn’t like he had a choice…they literally told them he either tags along OR get sent back to the lab to be tortured again…only a dumbass would choose not to go with the recoms
bro he’s a lil ass kid🤦🏽♂️ even in the movie they make it to where you literally know they don’t accept him as an actual na’vi, he’ll always be an outsider to them. What don’t y’all understand??
Rob this whole movie is fairy tale they just added the realism of how things are in real life I've been on your side with a lot of the comments you've on all yalls videos but recently you've been losing me man
I was quite taken aback by Rob’s approach. It seems like he struggles with media literacy and misses crucial context clues that are clearly suggested throughout the film. This led to prolonged discussions over points that were apparent to attentive viewers. Moreover, Rob even dozed off at one point, which is quite surprising for someone in a reactor role. I’ve been catching up on their videos, and I’ve noticed a recurring issue where Rob’s contributions often derail what could have been insightful discussions. I’ve followed this channel for years but hadn’t realized how significantly Rob’s presence can sometimes detract from the experience. It often feels like he offers opinions that lack a solid basis, disrupting the flow of conversations. While it’s not our place to suggest removing anyone from the channel, I believe Rob should consider the feedback from viewers. There’s a noticeable disparity in the audience’s likability towards him compared to the rest of the group. Addressing this could be beneficial, especially since some viewers even speculate about his focus during the reactions. New viewers seem hesitant to stay, and longtime followers are leaving, as evidenced by the comments. The channel has great potential and a substantial lead in subscribers, but it’s clear that something needs to change for it to grow further.
Guy in the middle seems like one of those ultra annoying people in the theatre who feels the need to do a running commentary VERY LOUDLY and ruins everyone else’s experience because he can’t S.T 🤬 on up!

In the cinema it was amazing because the sound was super loud and you could feel the vibrations through the body
I love to see tye different kinds of humans who watch this movie, the ones who choose to value a piece of green paper and the ones who value life and nature
Mans on the right was doing too much at the end 😂 Looking like he bouta have a stroke explaining himself like ok! we get it
😂 😂
He has to do it so the others can't add something meaningful to the conversation and make him look like an even bigger idiot lmao
Argument took up the whole ending to the point niggas didn’t even get a chance to do the outros🤣🤣🤣
This movie was insane in IMAX 3D
In spider's defense, no one came to rescue him. He was with the RDA for months. And not once did anyone come for him, not even Norm and Max, the scientists in Hell’s Gate, which is crazy. I understand why they didn’t, but if they had, then Lo'ak and Neteyam wouldn't have had to in the end. Like realistically, Spider was never safe. Lets not forget that General Ardmore nearly killed him in that brain blender machine and probably would have if not for Quaritch. Quaritch was the only reason Spider survived his time in captivity, of course Spider would save him in return.
screw spider
Noooo😭 I love Jake being the narrator, his voice is so perfect soothing😩. I can’t imagine his son narrating it!!!
Neytiri in that blood rage at the end was probably my favorite of scenes.
"Then, let's get it done" gave me chills down my spine! Your reaction to it was top tier 🔥💯
Yes i was waiting for this reaction! The next movie will be coming out in december 2024 and Lo'ak will be the narrator so this movie was kinda a build up for the next movie and a backstory for Lo'ak, our main dude. We will also meet the ash/fire na'vi in the next one and as far as we know those dudes are kinda the bad ones so it will be more exciting to see Na'vi as enemy.
the end of a movie is always a build up for the next one, kinda how cinematics works
BINGO, he doesnt know what inference and context clues are. AKA common sense.
Thisss
The amount of people that can’t stand Rob will forever be funny to me at first I thought he was trolling but I think he legit just be clueless
well if you was so smart in it why is "like" spelled "liek"? interesting...must've went to school in Ohio
I just want to say people seem to take the way Jake said spider was a stray cat the wrong way you have to keep in mind he doesn’t have parents he is an orphan much like a stray cat I didn’t see it as negative Jake actually defended him a few times because again keep in mind Jake was once human so he doesn’t just reject spider he was at a point in time one of he sky people
Rob is not normal at all, fym “this is war” those other clans are innocents

I like that guy in the middle, he's very smart
I'm that bro with the braids, literally the same. Utterly and completely distroyed.
I almost cried watching this i loved it
33:28 Jake Sully is a beast😂
Eywa transferred a soul from one body to another, it’s not hard to believe kiri is a child of eywa and grace

Love your guys movie reactions, thank you
Thank you for this video and sharing your opinions!
And literally the first movie showed those little white spirit things
Rob is funny at the end 🤣🤣
I actually love that they brought Quaritch back as an avatar, one of the most interesting characters to watch in this movie imo
@@blitzgirl6522 Agreed 100% I know a few people didn’t like it but it was the most intriguing part of the storyline for me
@@mizzy5193 Recom Quaritch, Kiri, and Spider are the wildcards for the rest of the series for me. I can't wait to see what's in store for them!
Yea he's a great villain and given he is supposed to remain a fixture in all of the sequels I'm sure there's a great arc in store for the character.
My only concern is his actor is like 85? Will he even be alive for 3,4 and 5

Adjusted to inflation on the future,
Kiri really gonna be the master of all four elements
I hate Quaritch, but at the same time he’s one of my favorite things about these movies. Stephen Lang just plays him perfectly (especially in this one being that he gets a lot more to do).
A great cartoon show would be "American Dragon: Jake Long"
Yeah Grace was actually pregnant by Eywa
Coreg memories on a computer they can bring him back even if he died
I don't care what justification anyone comes up with Spider is hands down the dumbest character I've ever witnessed. Saving the person that is 100% committed to killing the people you've grown up with and care for, regardless of how they feel about you, is probably the wildest thing ever. This really has nothing to do with Neytiri or Jake and everything to do with how close Spider was with the kids. He betrayed them by ensuring that Quaritch will come after them again.
Recom quaritch has a weakness which is spider. It could be because he saved him from being killed twice. Plus the boy has daddy issues…he was an orphan
The fact that you openly do not care what justification people bring up shows that you're sadly stuck in your own way and about as stupid as Rob is.

I still hate Spider, man.. I understand but .. damn! Neteyam, it's NETEYAM bro 😭
Neteyams death wasn’t on spider…spider didn’t force neteyam to stay behind and keep shooting

There is Avatar, one avatar to avatar three avatar for in the last movie is Avatar, five
